I cannot say enough good things about Ken!

I was planning a wedding for Maui while in Seattle. Ken was always so incredibly responsive to all my emails and requests, which felt great while being so far away. Then the day of, he showed up and got to work. He hustled the entire time and took so many wonderful photos. Seriously, breathtaking, incredible work. He was also so prompt with getting us our photos. We were sent a link within a week of our big day. Also, his prices are fantastic, so it's an excellent value.

I couldn't be happier with ken's work and he's such a nice, hard-working guy. If you are getting married in Maui and looking for a great photographer, look no further. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone his way.

Ken Kato was great to work with, because he was prompt to both our engagement shoot (which was in San Jose, CA) and wedding in Maui. He offered to drive to the hotel where my husband was getting ready so that he could capture the moment. Ken shot some amazing, creative photos for both shoots, and produced the images within a week!! He connected with us early on and knew which style we felt most comfortable with. Ken is amazing, and he is very experienced for those who aren't so into taking a bunch of photos knows just what you need to get a great wedding album!

From our first meeting with Ken, we knew he was the one. Not only is he super easy going but we click so well together. My husband doesn't like his picture taken but with Ken, he made it natural and comfortable. Our engagement sessions were fun and the photos were everything we hoped for and more. Ken has such an artistic eye and always manages to capture the scenery to make it a part of the picture and it always comes out so beautiful.

Our wedding day was hectic with our big families but Ken and his assistant Kevin were totally awesome and knew our to work it. Looking back at the pictures, he captured moments I missed and I'm super grateful for that. We are so glad he was our photographer because he helped our wedding flow smoothly and we have fabulous pictures to hold forever. As I've told Ken, he is the uncle we never had. We love you Ken!

Ken Kato has the best eye and took a brilliant set of photos! There were so many unbelievable photos that we didn't know how to choose. We finally settled on our choices and the album Ken created for us was unlike any other album we'd ever seen, it was absolutely beautiful! Ken's Hawaiian friendliness and calming but fun-loving personality made for fun, beautiful, natural photos in a setting with so much potential for stress, Ken helped us stay calm and enjoy the biggest party of our lives! We would hire him again in a heartbeat and probably will at our next big function!

We hired Ken for our destination wedding in Maui. Ken has a tremendous "eye" for photography and captured so many incredible moments from our special day that nobody else cold. He is very familiar with many locations and is able to capture the perfect sunsets, backgrounds and moments. We were very happy with all of the engagement photos and extremely satisfied with the actual wedding day photos. Our album is breath taking and would definitely recommend Ken to anyone that is looking for a great photographer. This moment only happens once in a lifetime, so you should book the best.

Ken has an eye for detail. He will make anyone look beautiful because he certainly did that for me. He knows the correct lighting, colors and angles to use to make the picture turn out beautiful. He is beyond professional and he makes you feel at ease when he's shooting a photo session.

Throughout the entire wedding, I don't think I noticed him once except when we stopped for family photos. That's another thing I loved about him. He wasn't in our face. NOT ONCE! Even his assistant was incognito. I can't wait to see my photos!

My cousin got married about four years before us. I knew the minute I saw their wedding album and pictures that I wanted to hire ken...and I hoped that it wouldn't take my husband and I too much longer to get married so that we could hire Ken. We only had about nine months to plan our wedding...when Ken e-mailed me telling me that he was (unbelievably) available on our wedding date, I knew that we were golden. And that we were going to be left with amazing photos to remember our wedding by. While I was sold with my cousin's photos...my husband was sold at the first meeting. We didn't bother to schedule any other meetings...in fact, my husband pulled out his checkbook right then and there to make the deposit. After that meeting...my then fiancée asked me, "After that...Why go anywhere else?" I couldn't disagree at all. Our engagement session came...we were uncomfortable at first because we just weren't used to the setting and situation, but Ken was amazing. He captured our love and story perfectly...he also made the shoot completely fun. I do believe that Ken has the most years of experience out of all of our vendors and it definitely showed. Ken helped us with our wedding day timeline and told us what was and wasn't going to work...and helped us think about things realistically. On top of everything...Our wedding portrait sessions were all shot in the least likely of locations...but those photos were nothing short of amazing. Beyond the portrait sessions...he captured our wedding day perfectly. I'll find myself staring at our photos at least once a week...and I'm so thankful that he was a part of our team. After being a bridesmaid for 3 other weddings Ken was a photographer at, choosing a photographer was the easiest decision. My planning went something like - parents available? check. Ken available? check... k... this date works lets start planning!!!

We are not photo people and he made our experience phenomenal and SOOOO much fun. His passion, his experience, his personality, his talent... I could go on and on... makes him wonderful to work with and with awesome results. All the venues we were at he had experience in and he knew the best places to take pictures at.

With so many things going on the day of your wedding, not having to worry about the photos, made the day THAT much more fun. Then going back through the photos was like reliving the day and more cause they are able to capture the moments you remember and the moment you couldn't be there for!!
