We loved our hair and make-up artist Nicole! She did an amazing job with my makeup and hair as well as my fiances and flower-girls hair! ten out of ten would recommend especially since they can come out to the venue.

Amy and Amanda and their team traveled to my wedding location to make sure me, my 6 bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law looked gorgeous for my wedding day. Our hair and makeup looked flawless on the day of and just as spectacular in all of the photos. Not only did they style us to perfection, but we had a great time laughing with them throughout the entire day. I had all the confidence in the world in them after my successful hair and makeup trial and they impressed me even more on the wedding day. I would absolutely recommend Mystique to any bride! My maid of honor and three bridesmaids were thrilled to have their hair and airbrush make-up done. The bridal room in the church on that November Saturday morning almost felt like a spa, it was such a relaxed atmosphere. Windy and the others were beyond punctual, arriving when my parents and I did before 7:00 a.m., smiling and happy! They had another wedding on the 14th, but you wouldn't have known it. They took their time with me and all of my bridal party, making sure every detail was perfect. Everyone looked stunning!

I have been going to Mystique since I was in high school and have always gone to them for all my school dances (ring dance, prom, etc.) so of course I was going to book them for my wedding. Amanda took on my bridal party of 6 by herself and did an amazing job as usual! We had a trial run and Amanda found a way to make the style I chose even better the day of. It was perfect and I loved it! She took her time with all of my girls to make sure every detail was perfect and made my day less stressful. We were finished ahead of time and my hair lasted throughout the whole night. I would absolutely recommend Mystique for your upcoming wedding they are the best! :)

Amy and Amanda traveled to Richmond on my wedding day to do hair and make-up for myself and entire bridal party. I have been going to Amanda since they opened their shop almost ten years ago and travel all of the way from Richmond. I knew that they would do an excellent job but was pleasantly surprised as to how beautiful we all looked. I will always be forever grateful to Amanda and Amy for how beautiful and stress free they made our wedding day.

The staff at Mystique is AMAZING! They are very talented, professional, and fun! I had the best experience as they did my hair and make up for my wedding along with my bridesmaids and mother. They were very flexible and accommodating as I had some last minute changes. They were very involved with my look and even the girls. We just didn't show up and they did what they wanted. They cared what WE wanted to look like! Our make up was flawless and lasted all night, even with an outside wedding! The hair styles were elegant and fit the girls perfectly!

To say planning a wedding can be stressful is an understatement. You make detailed plans in hopes things will be perfect for that special day. Two of the most important details in planning for my daughter's wedding, hair and make-up, turned out to be the easiest thanks to the staff at Mystique Salon and Day Spa. Anna had a consultation with Amy for her make-up and Amanda for her hair prior to wedding day and it was like they read her mind. She left the salon that day (in route to bridal portraits) with a clear picture of how she would look on her wedding day. Her hair and make-up were flawless and exactly as she had dreamed and all she had to do was show up and sit in a chair! Their knowledge and experience proved priceless. And on wedding day the staff jumped in to complete hair for the bridal part and me going far beyond everyone's expectations. Amy, Amanda, Wendy, Crystal and Samantha are talented professionals that make a very stressful day exciting and fun and make you look better than you ever thought possible. Thanks ladies!

I had been a client at Mystique for quite awhile prior to getting married, and had come to appreciate the consistently high level of service Amy and her team provide. However, I was absolutely blown away by the flexibility they demonstrated for my wedding. My husband is activity duty Navy, and because of his ever changing under-way schedule, we finalized our wedding date five days before our wedding. I immediately called Mystique and asked if there was any way Amanda would be able to do my hair for my Saturday nuptials. Not only did Amanda agree to come in early to do so, but two of the other stylists also came in and styled my mom and my grandmother's hair. Amanda did an absolutely incredible job on my hair, which stayed curled and perfect all day despite the August humidity. I will forever be appreciative of Mystique's commitment to their clients and their craft. Amanda made me feel gorgeous on my wedding day, and know she can do the same for any bride. I recommend Mystique for their bridal services without hesitation.

I wasn’t that impressed with Mystique for my wedding. I had 3 expectations going in to the bridal trial – I wanted to wear my hair half up, I wanted airbrush, & I wanted fake lashes. They said airbrush and lashes were part of the makeup package. So during the hair & makeup trial, the hairstylist (who was super fun), spent most of the time curling my hair. She ran over her time limit, so the makeup stylist was rushing her. She put a really cute quick braid at the front and took it out. LOVED it. Since there was so little time, Amy said she was just going to lock in my eyes. She quickly threw together a look I liked. I asked for more black eyeliner, and she said the white would look better and open up my eyes. I didn’t get the airbrush, I didn’t get the lashes - the main reason I came in. Had I been going to a bridal shoot with my photographer like some girls do after their hair & makeup trial, I would have been ticked. All I had was eye shadow and some loose curls. I was debating whether I wanted to come back in for my wedding, but everyone convinced me the airbrush would make it all worth it. For my wedding makeup, I loved the airbrush look. I didn’t get the fake lashes though because Amy thought I had enough lashes with mascara. I really wanted the lashes. I again asked for black eyeliner and was told to go with the white. I was annoyed because I had just paid all this money to get my makeup done, and I had to fix it myself with my own makeup to make it how I wanted. I didn't even wear my hair down - Amanda pushed me to wear it up since it was raining and might frizz. That' s my fault for not sticking with what I really wanted. She threw together a quick updo, and it was cute, but nothing like my hair trial. I feel like I wasted a lot of money at the trial, and with the makeup. Amy didn’t really listen to what I wanted. I feel like I could go somewhere else and get a lot more for what I paid for.
