Mrs. J's Baking & Catering is a wedding catering business operating out of Charlotte, Tennessee. Since 1999, this business has been in operation, and the owner - Celeste Morris - takes pride in providing excellent quality Southern-style food.

Our food:

Creating a number of family-inspired dishes, the recipes used by Mrs. J’s Baking & Catering are tried and trusted, having pleased thousands of people over the years.

Specializing in creating delectable smoked meat dishes, they know how to serve food that is as authentic and originally Southern as possible.

Some of the dishes that they have been known to make over the years include hickory-smoked pulled pork barbecue, grilled and marinated chicken breasts, Macaroni and cheese, breakfast for dinner and themed events. They excel at customer favorites and love to do custom menus or recreate your family recipes.

LOVED Mrs. J's! She serves excellent catering at a fair cost, I would even venture to say she is more affordable than others. We used her at our wedding and she brought us our own plates of food immediately so we could skip the line (and get a head start before we were bombarded with guests)! She also displayed everything really well and did an excellent job overall. Not to mention she is super sweet! She was also very flexible and let us add items last minute. Would definitely recommend!!

It was obvious from our first meeting that Celeste wanted to me to be 100% happy. She and her staff were capable and professional, but also very pleasant to work with.

Mrs. J's Baking & Catering was amazing all the way around. They were professional, courteous, and most of all the food was delicious. Many people came up to me during the wedding to tell me how good the food was. Also, her prices were the best we found. Great value!

Wonderful!!!

First class catering all the way around! Having worked in the catering business in the past, I must say that Celeste impressed me on every level! The food is fabulous. The staff is super cordial. They were punctual and organized. They showed up, set up (even the cake pop table that we did not purchase from them), and started serving up the best southern food around before I even knew they were here (and it was in my backyard). They didn't bother me for anything; they just made it happen!!! If you are looking for a competent, professional, friendly caterer...look no further! Thank you, Celeste!!! You were an integral part in making my daughters wedding a huge success!!! You rocked it!!!

Mrs J is PHENOMENAL! It's a no brainer to use her, especially if you are getting married at Front Porch Farms. She is so accommodating and so sweet to work with, not to mention, an amazing chef!! The twiced baked potato with the cheese sauce was all-the-rave with our guests. It was actually pretty funny how much people were talking about them. She is creative in her setup and completely takes the riegns so you don't have to worry about a thing. Very well priced especially for the amazing food you get.

I couldn't recommend her any higher. Stop looking and book her now!!

Don’t look anywhere else for a Nashville wedding caterer! Celeste is incredibly easy to work with. She is responsive, attentive, flexible, and highly professional. She was present and engaged in brainstorming and willing to tailor the menu to exactly what we wanted. She had so many creative ideas that we hadn’t even thought of when it comes to homestyle cooking! But most of all, Celeste is a genuinely kind person. In a day when outstanding customer service is hard to come by, Celeste stands head and shoulders above the rest! Highly recommended.

Listen to your caterer, she's a professional. She's done this before. Our guests raved about the food, it was a great combination that I wouldn't have thought of on my own.

Celeste was AMAZING to work with! She is fast to respond to emails, and is very helpful answering any questions you may have. When we officially met Celeste, I was so much more excited about our decision! She is so kind and very fun! Our food was AWESOME, especially that mac n cheese (as well as everything else!) :) Our guests were raving about how yummy everything was, and we could not be happier with our decision! Celeste, thank you so very much for contributing to our special day!
