Historical Mount Vernon Canyon Club was established in 1923 and is located right in the foothills of Golden, Colorado. The club a mere 20 miles from Downtown Denver, allowing couples and their guests the convenience of a wedding venue that is close to the action of the city and offers the breathtaking Rocky Mountain views Colorado is known for. Their stunning property will allow any wedding day to be an elegant affair that maintains a peaceful and outdoorsy atmosphere. Mount Vernon Canyon Club is keen to treat each and every one of their clients with dedication and passion. They know how important a wedding day is for a couple, so their goal is to provide exceptional services and successful events.
Facilities and Capacity
To highlight the beautiful mountain ranges surrounding the Mount Vernon Canyon Club, this nature-focused destination has made their large decks available for ceremonies so that couples can have the towering mountains and lush foliage as a wedding day backdrop. Banquet rooms are available as well. When couples utilize the banquet rooms during their ceremony or reception, they and their guests will have access to the private outdoor areas connected to the spaces. The beautiful Aspen Room has a capacity of 100 people, allowing for a cozy ceremony to take place. The Canyon Room is able to accommodate up to 150 guests, and the Main Dining Room is able to host 220 attendees. Whichever room the couple chooses, they can rest easy knowing that their event will be handled with care.

The best Venue we could have asked for
As a bride who is also a wedding planner by profession, I have experienced a lot of wedding venues—and I can confidently say this was the best food I have EVER had at a wedding. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and the quality truly exceeded expectations.
On the day of the wedding, the entire staff was outstanding. Mara especially was incredible to work with and made sure everything was perfect. They took care of everything seamlessly, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and warm, attentive service made such a difference.
If you’re looking for a venue that delivers not only a stunning setting but also exceptional service and unforgettable food, Mount Vernon Canyon Club is it. We’re so grateful for the incredible experience they gave us.
Best day ever (mostly due to MVCC)
As the week of the wedding drew closer, we had really bad weather expected. We quickly pivoted to moving inside, rather than being on the patio. This was no problem for Nicole and her team.
When we got to the day of the wedding, the entire staff had smiles on their faces and continuously checked in to make sure we were happy and taken care of. The entire day ran so smoothly thanks to the MVCC staff.
The week after our wedding, I kept getting SO MANY compliments on how amazing the day was and how good a job we did. But, truly, it was all thanks to MVCC. Our guests were happy, we were happy, and it made for a perfect day.
We would choose them again and again if we could relive this day over! Thank you al from the bottom of our very full hearts.

Our Mt Vernon Canyon Club Wedding was the Best Night of Our Lives
Honestly, we would have been lost without their guidance, support, and constant advice and recommendations. From helping us find the perfect vendors and planning our decor, to thinking through food options, leading the rehearsal, checking in constantly to ensure everything was ready.
The venue itself is magnificent, with stunning views of the foothills and the lights of Denver at night sparkling thousands of feet below you. They provided a space Friday for our rehearsal dinner as well - and the food cannot be beat. I cannot tell you how many people came up to us throughout the night to gush about the dinner - it was literally the best wedding food we've ever had. The bartenders were exceptional, the cocktails delicious and perfect strength. Great wine options, and amazing relationships with a nearby bakery to arrange desserts.
We wanted our wedding to be special, a day that we would NEVER forget. Mount Vernon not only met that goal, they blew it out of the water. They've earned our life-long support, and we cannot wait to go back for dinner on our 1-year anniversary to say hello and think back to that wonderful night.
