Mount Palomar Winery is a wedding venue located in Temecula, California.
In the past decade, Temecula wine country has been one of the most sought-after destination wedding locations in southern California. Mount Palomar Winery is one of the founding wineries of the Temecula Valley, establishing itself high atop our hill in 1969. Because of our premier location, our views are unequaled.
Couple that with our award-winning wines, outstanding weather, and close proximity to San Diego, Los Angeles, and the Palm Springs desert, it’s no wonder that we are booked years in advance.
What sets Mount Palomar apart from the other wineries?
Our property offers a spectacular hillside space to accommodate intimate weddings of 75 to extravaganzas of 600+.
Mount Palomar Winery is one of the elite few wineries that host a full liquor license. Not only may you choose from our excellent wine and beer menus, but we have a full bar available for you to offer to your guests.
Because your day is “your” day, we only host one wedding per day in our venue. No rushing around or feeling like you have to hurry up to leave; our 9 am arrival time gives you the chance to relax and soak it all in.
Our flexibility allows outside catering, including those for cultural celebrations.
To add to the festivities, our couples have included southern California flair with food trucks from:

- Chick-fil-A
- Taco Trucks
- Mount Palomar Winery is pet/animal friendly!
Whether you want to bring your fur baby for the day or enhance your guest list with elephants, llamas, goats or horses, all are welcome at Mount Palomar Winery.
Our spatial versatility also allows you to complete your vision with unique additions such as:

- Lounge areas
- Carts (coffee, gelato, churro, etc.)
- Live food stations (paella, paan, doughnut, etc.)
Music is the life of the party! Our couples have hosted a myriad of options when planning their musical entertainment for the evening. From brass bands and string quartets to live rock bands and silent discos, our couples definitely know how to party.
Not ready for that party to end? We have a barrel room that will allow you to host your very own after-party.

A Dream Venue!
Shellie was our POC from the very beginning and was with me from 9AM to 11PM for my wedding. She is amazing to work with! She really knows the venue inside and out, is on top of her game, and never missed a beat! I work in the event planning industry and as soon as I met Shellie, I knew I was in good hands. Because I ended up hiring vendors myself (most of which were on a list provided to me by Shellie), I didn't need to hire an outside coordinator. Shellie and her team did all of the coordination the day of. The day of my wedding went absolutely perfectly. The venue looked pristine, we started on time (and stuck to schedule thanks to Shellie), food was tasty, and due to the venue staff's hard work, I didn't worry about a thing and just got to enjoy my wedding like every bride should! TRUST ME (I work in the event planning industry), this is an AMAZING venue to get married at!

Mount Palomar Winery, is one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL VENUES, in the Temecula Wine Country. Not only is the venue gorgeous but the staff is so professional! Lauren, Sandy, and Kimberly are so organized and friendly. They realize how important the wedding day is and strive for perfection. My team gets so excited when they see that we have a wedding at MPW, because they know it is going to be a stress free day and a breath taking work environment for the day! You cannot go wrong by booking this venue for your special day!
It's always a pleasure to DJ a wedding at Mount Palomar. The grounds are just beautiful and always make for a fantastic Wedding. I can't say enough about the staff.
