Rick DJed our wedding on 9/14/24 and I have never heard so many people talk about what an amazing DJ he was! We had so many comments like “I’ve been to a lot of weddings and that was the best DJ and music ever”. I had several people ask for his contact info for future weddings. Rick’s dinner set list had people singing and dancing in their seats as they ate, already bringing the vibes up before the dance floor ever opened. Rick fit all our music requests, while also matching the vibe of the room and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves, from guests in their early 20s to guests in their 80s! The dance floor was full the entire night! Leading up to our wedding, Rick was communicative and easy to work with. We had a few special requests and dedications and even changed our mind a few times along the way, and Rick was always easily able to accommodate whatever we wanted to do. A good DJ is so important for your wedding and I am so thankful we had Rick, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an stress-free experience, fun reception, and lively dance floor!!

DJ Rick is the absolute greatest! He is knowledgable, organized, experienced, and passionate about throwing a great event. He accomodated every request we had and was great at adjusting on the fly. We never felt an ounce of stress and had the wedding day every couple dreams of.

Pro City DJ was the DJ at my wedding back in September and he was absolutely amazing. When in contact with Pro City DJ before choosing him for our wedding, he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He answered all of my questions and was transparent about the price and his recommendations. We had a backyard wedding in wine country with dirt roads and limited access to electricity. Pro City DJ was extremely versed with this type of wedding and knew exactly how to navigate it. After deciding to go with Pro City DJ, he sent an email stating exactly what to expect in the weeks leading up to the wedding and made it clear exactly what he expected from my husband and I. Over the course of several emails back and forth, he takes the time to get to learn about you, your preferences, and even takes into account what type of crowd will be at your event. He made several draft documents before finalizing the music plan to truly perfect the atmosphere of our wedding day. My husband and I didn't have a wedding planner so Pro City DJ took initiative to create a minute by minute plan for our wedding day and planned it all around music. Not only did he DJ our wedding but he was also emcee and made any announcements that we asked of him. The day of the wedding, he was FANTASTIC and everything ran smoothly because of him. During the reception, he played music for 2 hours and did an exceptional job at keeping the party going. Pro City DJ is extraordinary at his job and knew how to read the crowd and what songs were getting the most interaction. There was one song that got less people on the dance floor, he took immediate note and changed the music and got people back on the dance floor for the rest of the night. He is so friendly, professional, and truly made our wedding 100x better than it would have been with just an average DJ. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would! If you have the opportunity to hire Pro City DJ for your event, I would HIGHLY recommend.

Let me start out by saying, I am extremely introverted, don’t enjoy large crowds and can’t dance. I had been dreading my wedding because what’s a wedding without a DJ or a dance party? I was super honest with my DJ about not only my dread for dancing but my extreme introversion. He understood me and never once called me out during my event for needing to “disappear” for small pockets of time. He didn’t stop these “disappearances” from reading the crowd, keep up a lively energy, and help our guests have a great time. As counterintuitive as it may sound, he allowed me to enjoy my wedding by not forcing me to dance and not forcing any tradition upon me, which is more than I could ever ask.

Our wedding was fantastic because of Pro City DJ. Thank you Rick for making us look good. If you're looking for a San Diego wedding DJ Rick is your man.

Sound System
Rick's sound system was had great presence and low end. It was perfect.

Professionalism
Rick was on time and coordinated well with the planners. His microphone and announcements worked great.

Music Selection
We concocted a spotify playlist for rick and he used those songs as well as the specific songs we selected for different parts of the reception "bouquet toss" "first dance" etc. All of the music was well selected by Rick to fill the gaps and keep the party moving.

As you can clearly see from the pictures attached we all had a blast. Thank you Rick. You're the man!

Can't express how grateful we are for Rick. He DJed our wedding in April 2024 and we could not have imagined going with any other DJ. He is such a pleasure to work with and really made the wedding planning process fun. Throughout the planning process, he created this document for my wife and I to fill out together, and we could see how putting in effort for the document prevented us from stressing about the wedding down the road. For our open dance set, he was incredible at mixing all of our favorite songs and got our wedding guests dancing all night long, just as we envisioned. His photobooth services were also highly worth it for us and our guests. Would definitely recommend Rick at Pro City DJ for anyone getting married in Temecula or the surrounding area!

Rick was awesome ! We were lost during the planning process but Rick walked us through the actual day's event. We had a timeline created and he asked questions we didnt even think of. Having an itinerary really kept us organized and gave us piece of mind. We also had a few hiccups on the wedding day to which he was able to navigate with ease. The playlist he created and the fun our guests had with the photobooth made the wedding feel like a hit ! Im glad we got the photobooth because our guests were really able to enjoy the activity and have a souvenir out of it. Would definitely recommend !

I’m so happy we chose Pro City DJ for our wedding in September, 2023. Not only we had great music that made everybody dance, but we also had an amazing MC who kept things flowing and made all the announcements necessary. Rick was so great to work with, and he did take his time working on our wedding program that was so helpful because we didn’t have a wedding planner.
