"If you do what you love you'll never work a day in your life." It sounds cliche but it's true. I'm one of the lucky ones that wake up every day and can't wait to get to "work".

I fell in love with portrait photography when I was a yearbook photographer in high school. I knew photography was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. After receiving my degree in Journalism, with an emphasis on Photojournalism, I was hired as a wedding photographer for Redding's largest portrait studio. That was where I really got my education. It was hard work but I loved it.

After 20 years of owning my own studio, and thousands and thousands of clients, I still look forward to meeting new people. The bond I make with my clients is genuine. We have fun. My goal is to capture the true essence of the person in front of my lens. Where the session leads me is always a mystery but always rewarding.
