I reached out to Montville Florist after doing hours of research for vendors close by to my venue. I was dead set on supporting a small family owned business. Although, I was not super familiar with surrounding florist shops as my venue was out of town for me. An email was sent to them in hopes to get a response within a few days or so. To my surprise, I was answered almost immediately. Leah (the owner) and I chatted back and forth for weeks about my flowers and what inspired me, which inevitably led us to meeting in person and finalizing my plan.

The second I met Leah in person, I was welcomed into her shop with open arms, so much warmth, kindness and pure excitement to help me create the wedding flowers of my dreams. We shared stories, got to know each other and started to plan what was about to the biggest day of my life. I showed her some photos and we picked out what I loved and what I didn't love. She spoke so confidently about what she was picturing and what she could make me and let me just tell you.... She blew me away. She showed up on my wedding day with flowers that were unimaginable. It brought instant tears to my eyes. They were perfect in so many ways. Her attention to detail is unmatched. I don't think Pinterest or any google search could have brought up and shown a fraction of what she created for my wedding.

I will be using Montville Florist as my go to from now on for all occasions.

I was so lucky to work with Leah and her sister for my wedding flowers. Other florists I had spoken to either weren’t willing to work within my budget or were pushy and not really listening to what I was looking for. Off the bat, Leah made me feel comfortable and at ease with her creating my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets and all the floral decor for our wedding. I had to hold back tears not to mess up my makeup with Leah and her sister delivered the bouquets to my wedding. Beyond anything I could’ve dreamed of. Truly would not hesitate to recommend their shop for anyone’s big day or special event.

I worked with Leah throughout the planning process of my wedding & wow I can't say enough positive things! Leah is so professional and it is very clear she has so much experience. Not only is she great at what she does, she is so kind. Picking a florist was a hard decision for me. Flowers are something that are special to my mom and me for a few reasons but I also enjoyed being crafty and doing DIY projects while planning my wedding. I was a little nervous about approaching a florist for just my personal flowers when I had already made all of my centerpieces with fake flowers. Leah had no problem with this at all, and helped me come up with a plan so everything would be cohesive. Picking a florist can be nerve wracking because you really don't know how they are going to come out but I was not worried at all with Leah. On my wedding day morning I kept saying how excited I was to see my flowers, especially because I asked for some unique florals, and had a very specific vision. When Leah arrived, I kid you not I jumped up and down in excitement like a little kid on Christmas morning. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous, my girls bouquets were so perfect. Every detail I asked for was met. When I arrived at my venue and then saw the 2 aisle arrangements Leah had made for me I was so obsessed. They were so perfect and blended in perfectly with the fake flowers I had done for my arch. I highly recommend Montville Florist for your wedding flowers.

Our Thanks to Fern and the Montville Florist team for putting together some beautiful arrangements for our wedding at the Saybrook Point Inn. We had Montville Florist put together bouquets, boutonnieres, and several table arrangements for our wedding in October. All of the flowers were beautiful and looked amazing! We met with Fern a couple of months before the wedding and she helped us to pick flowers that matched out wedding colors and theme. She was fantastic! She had a great sense of what flowers were appropriate and vision for planning pairings and arrangements prospectively. Following our consultation she was quick to send over additional information and a summary of what we had selected. The summary was great because it included the flowers selected, which was helpful because the Mom's were putting together table arrangements and were able to match what Montville would be putting together. The end result was wonderful! The flowers were fresh and perfect on the day off! Montville knew the venue and delivered the flowers the morning of the wedding for seamless experience.

So many thanks to Montville Florist for the flowers that perfectly complemented an incredible day! The flowers still look good almost 2 weeks later and we've decided to preserve and keep the bridal bouquet because it was so beautiful!

Leah at Montville Florist was so great to work with. The bouquets, table arrangements and boutonnieres completely exceeded my expectations. I kept on poking the bouquets as we were getting ready to make sure they were real because they looked so perfect. Leah was easy to work with, gave us some great ideas and completely worked within our budget.

Absolutely Beautiful is what i have to say about our flowers. They came out perfect! The team to work with was incredible easy to converse with and was never difficult to get in contact as time went on. I am so thankful we chose Montville Florist for our wedding arrangements. We had a fall wedding on 10/21/18 and I knew I wanted autumn themed flowers but I left most of it up to the owner Lynn. She helped lead the way and gave us several options. The flowers were even more beautiful on our wedding day than I had ever dreamed. The colors were so vibrant and the arrangements so perfect. I would absolutely recommend Montville Florist! Lynne was a dream to work with. After one phone call and one meeting with Lynne we knew she was the florist for us. She is the perfect balance of professional and down-to-earth. The amount of time and energy she devoted to our wedding made us feel like we were her only client. From our very first meeting she was organized and came prepared with a list of everything we needed to discuss. What sealed the deal for us was that she never once made us feel overwhelmed. When we didn't know the answer to a question, she was prepared with soft recommendations and guidance, but she was never pushy. Lynne comes to the table with a deep knowledge of flowers, arrangements and weddings, but no matter how many events she's worked on (and it's a lot!) she was still passionate and excited about our day.

In the end, her work was stunning, which of course is the most important part. I may be biased, but the flowers at my wedding were hands down the most beautiful I've ever seen. She took our vision and made it bloom in ways we could never have imagined. The bouquets were to die for, the boutonnieres were dignified and handsome, and the table arrangements were breathtaking. Lynne even thought of little details like attaching the mother of the bride/groom's wristlets to beautiful pearl bracelets, which were a huge hit.

We learned that as a wedding day approaches, things get a little harried and details tend to change. We made several changes within the last few weeks of our wedding but Lynne took them in stride, happy to accommodate each request and always easy-going.

I could not recommend this florist more. An absolute gem!

This was my second time using Montville Florist. Meeting with Leah and working with Lynn was a pleasure and they totally accomplished the vision I wanted for my flowers (bright wild flowers). They handled any last minute changes I had to my order. I showed them models (1/144th scale X-wings) I wanted to add to the centerpieces (baby's breath and blue vases to match my color scheme) and they suggested and executed my idea perfectly. The memorial arrangement was subtle and beautiful (white roses and baby's breath). Leah is the one who delivered the bouquets and bouts and gave spot on advice about anchoring your thumb in your belly button to hold the flowers low enough to not hide your dress. I needed the bouquets at 2:30 for pictures and the rest of the florals couldn't be set up before 3:30. Leah went above and beyond and handled the two delivery times with grace and class.

I can't recommend them highly enough. You know you'll be in good hands working with Leah and Lynn. They worked beautifully within my budget. The fact that they have a lovable cat as a door greeter is a relaxing and loving bonus!
