Monica made super yummy food for our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and breakfast! :)

Not going to lie, food was not at the top of our priority list when we started the wedding planning process, so hearing that our venue already had a caterer that they worked with was a relief. However, when we attended the tasting in the fall of 2019, we were blown away by Monica's food. Everything she makes is delicious. And the even more excellent part is how willing she is to make whatever kind of food you'd like happen. With covid, we had to figure out the safest ways to serve food and Monica was very on top of the process making us feel very safe and comforted. Her entire staff was also very friendly and helpful. We are so happy we got to work with them for our wedding day and would totally recommend them for any future events.

Monica was an absolute delight to work with. Her food is amazing and she can literally make your food dreams come true! We had complete control over what we made our menu. Monica helped with the entire planning process and had so many great ideas. Monica and her team catered our rehearsal dinner and our ceremony. She even did all of our cupcakes and ceremony cake! And, everything was absolutely amazing. Everyone was raving about the food for the weekend. And, Nana was blown away by the homemade gnocchi.

It was so easy to work with Monica and discuss our ideas and vision. Planning a wedding in 2020 was no easy task but Monica and her team were so helpful.

Monica has been a delight to work with, and her food was absolutely scrumptious! We were first introduced to her through our venue, and she has been great from the start. She spent hours on the phone with us, asking us what foods we loved, what would make us happy at on our special day. She offered advice on what she had previously seen that had been both successful or unsuccessful at weddings. She also had a list of popular dishes that she had previously made, but she described it as more of a suggestion, in case we were struggling to decide, and was willing to make anything we wanted. If there was a dish that really meant something to us, but wasn't on her list, she was more than happy to make it up for us. Monica spent hours on the phone with us, helping make the perfect meal plan for us, something that we would love!
This year hasn't been the easiest, with COVID making an upset of so many weddings. Getting married in September, we were fortunate enough to still have a small ceremony, but postponed our major celebration until next year. Monica was completely understanding, patiently there for so many brides. She did a call with us earlier in the year, prior to us knowing if we'd need to postpone, and discussed the current situation and possible thoughts on things as well just to check in and see how we were doing. When we did decide to postpone, she was still willing to make a smaller dinner for us this year, for our family, so we could still have a wonderful meal to celebrate our wedding, as well as postpone our contract for the big celebration with no extra charge. She worked with us through the entire transition of our wedding plan and develop a new menu for this years dinner, happy to do what she could to still make our wedding day perfect!
Monica's food was absolutely delicious. The lamb and chicken was absolutely scrumptious, the grilled vegetables so delicious, and everyone was going back for more. She snuck in and out to drop food off without us seeing, and while I was disappointed not to see her, she didn't want to disrupt our big day which meant a lot to us. She even brought an extra tray of nibble as a gift for us to snack on throughout the night, which meant so much to us.
Monica really was absolutely amazing, and we were so glad she was our caterer! We are so excited to work with her again next year and try more of her food. Will absolutely suggest her to others for their weddings and other celebrations!

Monica was amazing! And so was her stuff. She helpes tremendously when trying to decide what out menu should be. Truly a genius because everything was delicious!!

Monica and her team provided the catering for my son's wedding in October. Due to Covid we had an intimate wedding in our yard with Monica as our caterer. The menu was superb. Truly first class service. Monica set up a beautiful display of delicious foods and desserts. She was a dream to work with. Highly recommend her catering company for any event. I will say her crab cakes and risotto were over the top!!!! Thank you for a great event!

After rearranging wedding plans and booking two houses at the Caboose Farm to hold our much-smaller-than-originally-planned wedding, I was put in touch with Monica Kelso Catering. She was everything I could have hoped for - accommodating, responsive, and she and her team provided some incredible food for our wedding. Although we cut our wedding list in more than half, we were still able to get things similar to what we had envisioned in our original plans at an upscale DC hotel. My husband and I were just thrilled that she was able to do mini lobster rolls...we had been craving them for months and they were beyond fantastic! Our plated meal consisted of a super yummy salad (even my picky nephew ate it!) and then a duet entree of beef and a crab cake with roasted vegetables and potatoes...everyone LOVED the meal. We were even able to get some breakfast goodies brought in to the one house for the morning after - it was a great option for people to grab as the got up and moving and on their way home. Highly recommend!!!

This was our first wedding and we were nervous. A great party requires attention to a lot of details, and there are often unknowns.

My wife and I are so grateful to Monica Kelso, who paid attention to those details. Thanks to Monica's professionalism, warmth, and hard work, my daughter's wedding was spectacular. The food was delicious, the service perfect, and the vibe wonderful. Monica calmed our nerves and fed our stomachs with creative, tasty, and wonderful food. She is terrific. I'm hoping she's available if and when my other daughter gets married.

Monica was fantastic! She had several phone conferences with us to get an idea of exactly what we were looking for when it came to food on our wedding day. We attended one of her tastings at Caboose which I highly recommend as it gave us a plethora of good ideas to add to our cocktail hour/dinner menu. Monica was very flexible and worked with us to get us the best menu. She had several helpful suggestions that allowed us to save some money without sacrificing any of the food. The food was OUTSTANDING. Our guests have not stopped raving about how delicious their food was. We went with station-style service and a dessert bar rather than plated meals. She knocked it out of the park and hit on every single request we had, whether big or small. She was able to accommodate dietary needs exceptionally well. My wife has a severe food allergy and Monica made sure her team prepared her food in a particular manner so as to make her feel comfortable throughout the night. Overall we were blown away by what Monica and her team pulled together for our wedding night. You’ll be impressed.

Monica and her team did a fantastic job catering our wedding at Caboose Farm on May 11, 2019. I loved working with Monica as she was creative and unique, giving us a freedom to make our own menu.
