Shelby Chari is boudoir photographer based in Springfield, Massachusetts. Her photography dabbles between bright colors and filmy black and whites, a good combination of photojournalism and artistic portraiture. Shelby is an engaging person who loves meeting new people and hearing their stories. Her comfort and ease behind the camera help guide even the most timid in front of the camera.

Shelby has been photographing boudoir since 2012. Her business started in Indiana, but has now made its way to New England.

Services Offered

Shelby offers boudoir sessions at her studio in Downtown Springfield. She wants to shine light on the beauty of real life. She offers a unique experience and wants all sessions to feel like the ultimate day at the spa. All sessions include hair and makeup styling, posing and prep advice and use of the client closet at the studio. To allow the flexibility to choose the products that work best for you; Images, Prints, and Products are sold separately.

Shelby was timely, organized, personable, but most important genuine. She really shows how much she cares and takes pride in her passion. I can tell you if you book Shelby she will be 100% committed. I am so glad I found her for my wedding.

A true artist and a wonderful person!

We can't say enough good things about Shelby - she was the first vendor we hired and was the best decision we made for our wedding. She was so easy to work with for both our engagement and wedding photos and keeps you relaxed and laughing. None of her photos feel posed - it really is a genuine expression of love. We especially loved the warm and cozy feel that her photos have, especially with the trend of overexposed-looking photos that are popular right now for weddings, it was important to have someone who has her own style. If you hire Shelby, you will not be disappointed!

The best!!!

Honestly I don't even need to write a review for Shelby's work...the photos speak for themselves. However, it was the absolutely BEST working with her. Trust me, I did my research. She was the 50th, yes 50th, wedding photographer I reached out to and I think that speaks enough about her!

Not only did we hit it off right away, but I feel like I have found a forever friend in her. The pictures, the experience, the extras she gave us after the wedding? It was all perfect. Even today, more than 6 months after the wedding, I need her help with touching up a photo or editing a little something here or there, she is 100% willing to help.

If you have the chance to work with her, I HIGHLY suggest it. You will be very happy with the end results!
