Molly is the best there is! We booked her almost two years prior to our May 2025 wedding and it was the best decision we made. Even before meeting her, Molly made us feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. She was more than just a photographer, she was the cheerleader we needed who checked in and gave un-biased expert advice in everything wedding related. She had so many good tips and suggestions that guided us through the planning process towards our perfect day. For our engagement session, Molly was incredibly flexible, providing back up dates if necessary and was willing to travel to make our dream-shoot come to life. Although it was 30 degrees outside and we were severely under-dressed, Molly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Me and my husband both teared up when we saw the pictures, they were perfect and no one could have guessed we struggled with the elements behind the scenes! The photos were breathtaking. Going into the wedding day, I felt 0% stressed about getting the perfect shot and I had full faith in Molly and her skills - this was so important! Molly felt like a friend who joined our wedding, and she made everyone feel very comfortable in her presence. She also saved the day when the bustle of my wedding gown broke and she helped pin it back up. Not only did Molly go above and beyond leading up to our wedding, she ensured we have every moment and emotion from the day forever captured in her pictures. We knew the pictures would be excellent, and still she managed to exceed our expectations in every way. Again, Molly is the best there is and we will forever recommend her for any photography needs!

I was blown away when I stumbled across Molly’s Instagram page 2 years ago, and even more blown away after receiving our own engagement and wedding galleries. Not only is she incredibly talented, she’s also incredibly kind, thoughtful, and fun. From the moment we met her all the way through to the wedding day, she was there for our questions and matching our excitement. Her calm, patient, caring personality is such a comfort on a busy wedding day and made the day go so smoothly. There are already so many things to think about when planning a wedding; trusting your vendors wholeheartedly makes such a difference and that is exactly how we felt about our wedding photos, we just knew they would be perfect and they were. Best decision we made, hands down!

Oh. My. God. Molly is hands down the most AMAZING person I have ever met. I cannot even begin to express how happy I am she was our wedding photographer. Not only is she just amazing at what she does, she is also the nicest, most thoughtful person I’ve ever met. I genuinely felt like she was a friend. On an extremely stressful day, she managed to keep me calm and make me laugh, while also keeping my husband and I comfortable in front of the camera. I will never stop raving about her. Molly is an absolutely wonderful photographer and even better person. She really took the time to get to know us and connect with us before the wedding which we really appreciated. She's incredibly talented and we love her more moody/artsy style. She made me & my loved ones feel absolutely beautiful and captured all the emotions perfectly. You can tell she cares about all the little individual details, which we love because we are both very detail oriented. She makes you feel like a friend and really went above & beyond with everything. From the actual photography to even giving advice on outfits and about a few sticky wedding issues. We can't think of a better photographer than Molly, we'd gladly use her for any needs in the future. I feel like a better person for knowing her, not to even mention the stunning photos.

Molly was AMAZING! From the moment we hired her she was helpful, organized, and thoughtful. She was able to recommend vendors and answer any random wedding questions I had. She was so kind throughout the process.

It was really important to my husband and I that we finish all of our pictures before cocktail hour. I was worried that this would make the pictures rushed, but Molly made it happen. She took AMAZING pictures and finished everything in time so we could enjoy cocktail hour. She made us feel so comfortable while taking pictures. I was nervous but she put us at ease right away.

Did I mention every picture turned out amazing? I seriously can’t stop looking at them. Molly was the best and will make your day amazing!

I cannot recommend Molly enough. I knew the moment I saw her work that I wanted her to be our photographer and once I met her in person, I knew we HAD to have her be a part of our special day.

Wedding photos are one of those special mementos that are with you forever. It’s so important to have someone who can capture those special, intimate moments – the ones you look back on and cherish it was captured on film. Molly and her team captured those moments and more. She is also incredibly wonderful to work with. From our engagement photos leading up to our wedding day, she sent us cute little gifts to help make the journey all the more special. I really felt like she was apart of the whole adventures.

She made the photos feel so natural; even my husband who is not one for posing for pictures said he couldn’t believe how comfortable and fun it was. We did our engagement photos with her as well and it was so fun. She also understood our vision and what we were aiming for. Being a fellow Lord of the Rings nerd, so helped tie in those elements I was aiming for in our photos (and even brought her own décor to make our classic ring / special jewelry photos all the more perfect).

Not only is she an amazing person to work with, her photos are STUNNING. She has a way of capturing the depth of the moment. The photos are authentic and real, and beautiful. I’ve decided she will be our photographer for all the other important moments in our life in the future. I can’t picture anyone else! All in all, I highly recommend her for any occasion.

I must start this by saying that I am supremely late in posting this review, mostly due to wanting some time to truly absorb Molly’s magnificent work and write a review that was worthy of her skill. I was especially particular when searching for a photographer for our New Years Eve, black-tie wedding because I work with a lot of photographers professionally (real estate marketing). I knew I wanted a photographer that would work with the space, nature, and natural lighting but what I didn’t realize is that in the world of wedding photography, those requirements are much harder to come by. As soon as I landed on Molly’s portfolio, I knew that we had to work with her. In the wedding photography world, I think Molly’s aesthetic is considered a “moodier” aesthetic but in my professional experience she’s just a dang good photographer! Molly really allows nature and the environment to play an important role in each image. When we had our first call, I learned that she is also a diehard Harry Potter fan…and because I was planning a Harry Potter-inspired wedding, I knew she was the perfect fit. Thank goodness she was available for our date!!!

We did an engagement session in July 2021 throughout Harpers Ferry (Molly’s suggestion based on what I was looking for) and the photos were amazing! We ended up with some many great photos and different backdrops from one location. No matter who you use, I encourage an engagement session so the photographer and couple can get comfortable with each other.

On New Years Eve 2021, we got married at Historic Rosemont Springs in Berryville, VA. Molly has shot there quite a bit, but I can tell you that with her style of shooting, she will find the best shots at any location. On the day of our wedding, Molly & her assistant quickly blended into the festivities…so much so that when I think back to the day, I can hardly remember seeing her. She was busy capturing AMAZING photos, which we will cherish forever! Some of my favorite photos from the wedding are all the little touches; especially those Harry Potter touches throughout the wedding & reception.

On top of being a wildly talented photographer, Molly has a wonderful personality. She’s super friendly, easygoing and helps you feel comfortable immediately. She was great to communicate with and always responded quickly via text or email. Just like our wedding planner, Molly’s temperament was helpful in keeping me calm (Covid planning stress!!!)! She’s just always calm and rolls with changes or adjustments with ease. I appreciate that her photography style isn’t the traditional/typical style and expect that she will continue to be booked up & earn more and more recognition for her beautiful work! Most importantly, she’s a nice, kind and wonderful person – she embodies the type of vendor I like to work with (both personally and professionally).

My husband and I are over the moon THRILLED with Molly and her creative and artistic photography! We were married at Historic Rosemont this month, and Molly and her colleague Rachael were there to capture all the precious moments of our wedding weekend. Everything went by so fast, in a wonderful swirling whirl, and we just couldn’t take it all in as it was happening! But thanks to Molly and Rachael, we have so many beautiful picture-memories to cherish. Molly’s photos are amazing! We like “formal” pictures, just like everyone else I suppose, but we LOVE informal shots of “life in the moment” too. Molly excels in BOTH. And here’s the icing on the wedding cake—Molly is not only an extremely talented photographer—a true artist—but she is also a very thoughtful, friendly and kind lady, too. A delight to work with. She was always sending us little notes, and presents, always asking if there was anything she could do for us. And there’s more: She was an absolute angel about working together with a family friend who is also a photographer, and was taking pictures at our wedding weekend, too. Molly is such a treasure both personally and professionally, and we are blessed to know her. She gave us the perfect wedding gift: pictures of all the formal and informal moments of a dream-come-true wedding weekend that we can cherish forever!
