At the same time, she gave us just the right amount of direction. She helped guide us into poses that felt natural and flattering, and she wasn’t afraid to gently tell us if something looked awkward (which we appreciated so much!). It really felt like she tailored everything to us instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach.

And the turnaround time?! She sent sneak peeks the day after both our engagement session and our wedding (when does she sleep?!). Being able to relive those moments so quickly was such a gift.

One of the best things we did for our wedding was choose Molly as our photographer. I initially found her Instagram and was quickly obsessed with her timeless and classic style. After chatting with Molly, my husband and I knew that she was exactly what we were looking for. Molly kept us well informed throughout the entire planning process and eased all of our anxiety with every check in email/call. On the morning of my wedding I had a minor emergency where my dress would not zip up—Molly literally was helping try to find solutions and trying to zip up my dress herself (we got it to zip after like 20 minutes lol)!! We were suddenly behind schedule and I felt so stressed, but Molly never added to my anxiety and did everything she could to keep us on track. Our entire day turned out SO perfect, and it was the best day of my life. Afterward, Molly kept us informed throughout the editing process, and before we knew it we received all of our photos. I will cherish our gallery forever—Molly perfectly captured the love my husband and I share, all while adding her own personal touches and artistry. She is truly the best wedding photographer, we are SO grateful for her skill & all she did for us!!!

We were so happy to go with Molly Lichten as our wedding photographer. She did our engagement shoot as well as our big day. Everything turned out amazing and we came away with incredible pictures to remember our big day. She was great at communicating. We were able to get in touch with her when we needed and sit down and hash things out. She had great ideas for where we could get our engagement pictures done in the spring time. She was aware to steer us away from the tidal basin because of construction. And during the day of the wedding she was well organized and kept us moving to stay on her photography schedule! If you ask for more pictures to be done she will do it. She gives full access to her pictures at the end, with an easy website to view and download the pictures. It was easy to share them with friends and family as well.

Molly is amazing! During our engagement shoot, it was very crowded and Molly was so patient and great at ensuring that we got the pictures that we (and she) wanted! She’s so incredibly talented and we feel so lucky that we were able to work with her for our wedding. We will definitely work with her again in the future!
