Becca and Jessie's work truly speaks for itself. We were first drawn to them after seeing a stunning wedding they designed in a bowling alley, and from our very first conversation, they took the time to understand us as a couple.

Our vision was unconventional, a little weird, but they embraced it. They just got us, matched our energy perfectly, and the result was a wedding that felt like a true reflection of who we are as a couple.

What made the experience so special was that planning never felt like work. We were doing it alongside new friends. We completely fell in love with Becca and Jessie. They are incredible human beings, with undeniable talent.

On the wedding day itself, they appeared like fairy godmothers with exactly what we needed before we even had to ask, all while somehow staying invisible. They handled every surprise and family dynamic with total grace. We could not have asked for a better team.

My husband, Scott, and I were lucky enough to have Modern Vintage as our planners for our wedding in November 2024.

At first, I was hesitant about hiring planners—our venue included a coordinator, and I was trying to pinch pennies. But let me tell you: they are worth every single cent and more. I cannot imagine navigating the planning process, welcome party, ceremony, or reception without them. The day truly would have been a completely different event—far less magical and far more chaotic—without their guidance.

Jessie and Becca (and, if you’re lucky, Evan!) not only bring impeccable taste and deep industry connections, but they are also absolute gems of human beings. Some of our favorite memories are from our planning sessions with them, and nearly a year after our wedding, we’re lucky to call them friends. They keep you organized and sane throughout the process, and when the big day finally arrives, their smiles and flawless coordination allow you to relax, breathe, and fully take in the experience.

Words truly cannot describe how amazing the MVE team is. Becca and Jessie (plus their phenomenal new addition Darcy) are absolute wedding magicians and hiring MVE was by far the best wedding decision we made.

From our first introduction meeting, Becca and Jessie made us feel completely at ease and we knew immediately that we were in good hands for the planning process. They took so much stress out of planning- from vendor meetings/selections to the day of the wedding- everything was so smooth and filled with joy. As an additional confidence boost- every vendor we spoke with thought the world of MVE! They helped us manage our budget and worked directly with vendors to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted/needed. Becca and Jessie also played a huge role in fulfilling the vision of the day- they took our disjointed words of "wildflower, inclusive vendors, colorful, and fun" and pulled together the absolute wedding of our dreams.

The day of the wedding was truly spectacular. MVE had everything running smoothly and on time- we were able to just float through the entire day on a cloud of joy and excitement. They truly made sure we had everything we needed!

A simple "thank you" just isn't enough to express how grateful we are for Becca, Jessie, and Darcy- who we now view as friends!! :)

While I’m sad our wedding is over for many reasons, one of the things that makes me the most sad is that we don’t get to work with MVE anymore. I loved working with this incredible duo. They executed my vision and every detail perfectly and used their expertise to make suggestions of what works. I never felt like they were taking me in any direction but my own. Jessie and Becca are also just a blast to hang out with! My wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to MVE and I cannot recommend them enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I would - that is how good they are.

If I could give Modern Vintage 10 stars, I would. They were that good! As the out-of-town mother of the bride, I honestly can say they made the wedding the joyful event my daughter was hoping for...and got! They got the vibe she wanted, understood the budget, were very responsive, professional, and creative. Open to our ideas and full of great suggestions of their own. I never leave reviews but had to this time.

Literally within 24 hours of learning that we had to postpone our wedding, Jessie and Becca had helped us secure a new date, a new venue, and were almost done re-booking every single one of our vendors (even convincing some of them to make it work for our new date). Words can't describe how much we appreciated them stepping up and helping us out tremendously during that stressful time. They went well above and beyond what was expected of them when we started this journey and now I have them to thank for amazing wedding memories that I will never forget! Jessie and Becca are amazing ! We planned a destination wedding from Atlanta and they made sure that every detail was addressed and perfect ! They respected our budget and most importantly, made sure that our daughter's wedding vision was exactly what she wanted. The vendor recommendations for the dj, cake, flowers , decor & venue were top-notch and their contacts alone are worth working with this group !!

They were patient with our numerous questions and changes and worked tirelessly to make sure the event flowed perfectly from beginning til end.

Hiring Modern Vintage Events was absolutely the best wedding planning decision we made. We simply would not have been able to have the wedding we wanted without their guidance and coordination. They took every single idea we had seriously and actively pursued a way for it to become a reality. But then they were honest with me if my idea seemed unrealistic or outside our budget. It was also mind-blowing how they were able to keep every tiny detail organized and were always one step ahead with making sure we didn’t miss deadlines or let anything fall through the cracks. Not only are Jessie and Becca superstar wedding planners, but you also get their recommendations for the BEST vendors for flowers, photography, cake, lightning, stationary etc. We were thrilled with how everything came together and how we could actually enjoy our wedding day. Jessie and Becca are truly worth their weight in gold.

I tried to keep this review mostly practical since anyone reading this is deciding how to spend precious resources for a wedding. But I can't imagine planning our wedding without Jessie and Becca because they played a central role in making me, my now husband, and our families feel so special during the time we were engaged. They have such big hearts, warm energy, and exuberance about life. I am grateful we had these beautiful human beings with us as we traveled the (mostly) ups and downs of wedding planning and that they were by our sides making sure our special day was truly magical. Modern Vintage is the only way to go! Obviously they are the only wedding planner I have ever used but they made the whole process so relaxed and they think of everything so planning your wedding is actually fun and not stressful at all! Plus they are super cool ladies that you will want to be friends with after the whole process. Look no further, Becca and Jessie are the most amazing planners I have ever worked with and I have been in a few weddings. My husband and I cannot thank them enough for all the work they did so we didn't have to worry about our family, friends, dress malfunctions or the fact that we ran out of vodka in the first hour of cocktails because they just handled it! So worth every penny and more.

Choosing to marry my wife was the best decision wedding decision I made. Having Becca and Jessie coordinating the event was a VERY close second!

We hired them for coordination, and when they took over, it was like a weight had been lifted. They thought of questions we hadn’t even considered, and then solved them. They reached out to all our venders and ensured everyone was on the same page. At the rehearsal, they made sure every member of the bridal party knew exactly when and where to be the next day. That alone was no small feat!

On the wedding day they were incredible. They addressed every little detail and made sure my wife and I enjoyed the entire day. Whether it was meeting us at a brewery to pin on boutonnières, or handing us a cocktail at the reception, they made sure we were present for every moment.
