I am delinquent in writing this review, but I MUST do it so that everyone has the opportunity to know how amazing and talented this talented team is! Brianna and her team came to Five Event Center in Minneapolis and rocked the house! I was so worried about what kind of floral would be available on our budget in Minnesota in March- but not to worry! Not only were the Bridal Floral extraordinary- she decorated the entire Event Center - and only was allowed by the Venue, about two hours to do it all! It was stunning- from floral to lighting to accent pieces! There is not a more talented Design and Floral Artist in Minnesota I am convinced! Thank you for making my daughter's wedding the most memorable day of her life!

Brianna at Modern Design and Concepts helped us have the perfect day. We discussed with her our vision, and she took it and made it better than we could have ever imagined. Her creative mind not only helped make our day perfect by incredibly beautiful flowers, but we were also discussing with her decor outside of flowers and she made it her project and made our reception a moment I will remember forever. She went above and beyond, listened to what we wanted, and was a main part in creating the perfect day for us.

Brianna knows her stuff! I was a bit back and forth on some of my floral decisions, but after meeting with her and hearing her suggestions I felt back on track. Truly an expert. Despite it being the hottest day of the summer, the flowers on my day were perfect. She worked collaboratively with me, is a true professional, super creative and thrifty and gets the job done right. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends. :-)

Over a year ago, when I was planning my wedding, this advice was given to me, “hire the best, most reliable people, so that all you have to do is experience your wedding.” Getting married on my parents property was a perk, a good caterer, great photographer and most importantly an OUTSTANDING florist / do it all decorator, Fox and Fern. It started with a few meetings, scrolling through pinterest, roaming her warehouse and sharing our love for all things gold and organic. Once I had the feeling Bri knew what I loved, I let her artist wings FLY! And I could not have been more pleased, nay, impressed by the work she put into my special day. She asked if I wanted to see my bouquet – I didn’t, knowing she knew best, and she sure did. I had the perfectly ethereal flower crown and waterfall bouquet. My ‘maids matched brilliantly. Upon walking down the aisle, her craftiness surrounding the arbor, both floral and with glass bulbs was picturesque. The reception was like walking through ‘Fern Gulley’ meets ‘A Secret Garden’ – the theme I didn’t even know I was going for.

Brianna was the best, provided us with many new, insightful ideas that we could've never have thought up without her!

She really took a genuine interest in our special day, and followed through in a timely, professional manner.

When we meet with florists in the Rochester area it was clear right away that MDC was who we should go with. Their designers listened to every detail we wanted and provided great ideas back. We found MDC to be of great value and service and were there to help us walk through all the possibilities. The day of the wedding they set everything up and were there to take care of it all at the end. It made our wedding day so nice to not have to worry about our vendors. MDC is floral genius'!!! Bri is a creative genius. She is willing to make your day look exactly like you. Her studio is a dream, and she was able to see my vision after simply looking at a few on my Pinterest pictures. There is no need to micromanage this one. Let her do her thing and enjoy everything in sight.

If you have a general vision with not too many specifics this company is for you. They are the most affordable compared to the other decorating companies in the area I met with but the communication is lacking, which is something I expereinced with every decorator I came in contact with. And they were late or no show for a majority of the handful of meetings we had scheduled. The saying "only the bride will notice if things are not exactly like she wanted them" applied here. Bottom line, the flowers were beautiful and only I knew they weren't the exact color or arrangement I had in mind.

Unfortunately, we would not recommend Modern Design and Concepts to anyone, because the services we received were anything but professional. We were extremely disappointed in both their quality of work and their conduct. When we expressed concerns about our designs, we felt that our requests were ignored, and we were falsely reassured that everything would turn out as expected. The quality of work that we received was not nearly the same quality of work that is advertised in their photos. We felt very taken advantage of, as we paid them more than a fair price yet have never experience such terrible customer service. It is truly unfortunate that their inadequate work and poor treatment is what we will remember most about our wedding day.
