All I can say is delicious!!! From the moment I tasted the food last year I was looking forward to eating it at my wedding. They were also great with timing and set up, I was super busy and didn’t have to worry about anything but stuffing my face. :)

If you love bbq HIRE THEM! Everyone at our wedding raved for days after, about how amazing the food was. I know two people at the wedding got business cards from employees in order to hire them for their upcoming weddings. The food was so flavorful and beautifully displayed. We had such a good experience that my husband and I are already talking about what excuses we could come up with to be able to hire them again!

They are so reasonably priced and the quality is beyond what we could have imagined!!

Great value, communication and most of all yummy food! Brian was so easy to work with, they came early to set up, didn’t cause any issues, cleaned up, packed doggie bags and hit the road. It was a seamless experience!

Brian and his team were amazing to work with for my daughter's wedding. The BBQ was out of this world and the beef brisket melted in your mouth. The guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was and the starter (Whiskey Shrimp) was a crowd favorite. Brian even accommodated for gluten free and vegetarian options. I highly recommend Mississippi Delta for all your catering needs.

We used Missippi Delta Catering for our 180 person wedding at Champoeg Park in St Paul Oregon. From the moment we met Brian Rodgers we knew he was our guy! Polite, attentive, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. When we went to our tasting Brian literally prepared us a delicious sampling menu at his beautiful tasting room in Portland. We felt like VIPs!. He continued to be thoughtful throughout the planning process and was such a joy to work with. Brian and his team truly delivered. All of our food was excellent. The set up for the event was also wonderfully-executed and all of the staff who attended to us and our guests were so warm, friendly, and attentive. We would highly recommend Missippi Delta to anyone.

We decided late in the wedding-planning process to book a caterer (had originally wanted to cater it ourselves... yeah right!) and Brian at Mississippi Delta BBQ was amazing. After a quick chat over the phone, we booked him and his team. They were incredibly flexible — our original venue canceled on us less than 2 weeks before the wedding and we found a backup venue that was farther away, but it wasn't a problem for Brian and his crew. The day was cold and a bit wet, but the food was piping hot and DELICIOUS, right on time when everyone was ready to eat. The catering was seamless, and the entire transaction was so easy. Brian even let us pay AFTER the wedding, no rush. He's a truly good, honest businessman who doesn't charge life and limb for solid, good food. I fully recommend his company!

Brian is a great guy to work with and the food is SOOO GOOD! They even package up the left overs for you! His staff was kind, courteous, clean, and very professional. They were attentive and made sure the bride ate (I'm so glad I did, I smelled it smoking all morning, mouthwatering!). My guests are still talking about the brisket and the macaroni salad.
I would use them again and will probably be stopping by the cart more often for lunches.

We worked with Brian from Mississippi's Delta BBQ to cater our wedding. You might not think of BBQ as wedding food, but I can't tell you how many compliments we got and how happy people were.
First of all, the food is amazing. Incredible. Some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten. Ever. That alone would be reason enough to hire them. But there's plenty more. In addition to the meat, which people think of when they think of BBQ, Brian offered us an entire menu including sides, fresh salads, and appetizer options. They were there at the beginning of the event and ready to go with snacks when our guests showed up. Brian was also super responsive by email and always willing to handle questions, requests, or changes. Dietary restrictions? Not a problem. We had a few vegan guests and Brian handled it without hesitation.
Believe me, you want good food at your wedding. So hire these guys. You won't be disappointed.

Brian and Lea make such a fun husband and wife team. I think it is very important to like the people that you choose to be a part of your wedding, and these two are absolutely cute and fun to work with. The food is fantastic, and original as well. Brian grew up in Mississippi, and has brought the culture's food to Portland. Needless to say, he knows what he's doing, and is an excellent cook. The prices are very reasonable, and I would highly recommend them as caterers for any event or wedding.
