The working museum is nestled in Atlantic Station in Midtown Atlanta, a location historically called “The Gate City.” This unique venue offers a beautiful oval lawn, lake setting, and terrace to host your wedding ceremony and reception. The museum’s mission is to preserve and interpret Georgia history, art, culture, and philanthropic heritage. You have the opportunity to enjoy the art in the museum while taking in the beautiful architecture outside as a backdrop to your wedding.

Facilities and Capacity
Millennium Gate Museum and Event Venue accommodates weddings from 50 to 400 guests. The beautifully-manicured outdoor oval lawn fits 250 people for a seated reception or 400 for an outdoor ceremony. An elegant, transparent tent can be added to the oval lawn where you and your guests can dance under the stars while being protected from any undesirable weather conditions. The indoor space is meant for more intimate celebrations with up to 50 guests during a ceremony or 100 for a standing cocktail reception. Other spaces available include the Museum Gallery, Upper Terrace, the Rhodes-Robinson Room, and the Rooftop at the Gate. You have the option to select one space for your wedding or rent out the entire museum and monument. There are exquisite get-ready rooms available for you and members of the wedding party to get ready on-site. The venue is wheelchair accessible and the downtown location offers parking, valet, and a shuttle service.

Not only does this unique venue serve as host for a ceremony and reception, but also for elopements, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, and bridal showers. Millennium Gate Museum and Event Venue has an event planner ready to work with you during the planning process and be available on the day of the wedding to ensure things run smoothly.
