I had my reception here and it was gorgeous. When we first booked the venue for our reception, I was nervous about how it would turn out because I had trouble picturing the reception space decorated and set up. But it turned out gorgeous. I would highly recommend renting out the sculpture garden. We had our bar out there, and it was such a beautiful night, everyone loved the option to be able to go outside. It also gave people more of a chance to mingle. What was really nice was that they don't rent out the sculpture garden to anyone the night or day of your wedding, so it's available the day of, even if you haven't rented it yet. We were nervous about renting it ahead of time in case the weather turned out great, but Cassie (the event coordinator) said not to worry about it and we could just decide later when we saw what the weather was like if it was something we wanted to rent! The only negative aspect is since it's a museum, you cannot have open flames or red sauces, including red wine. That was not a problem for our wedding. Cassie was great to work with and I would highly recommend the Museum for any event!

The Ga Museum of Art is a beautiful venue. I loved the fact that I was able to have my ceremony and reception at the same location. The only draw backs are the limited parking and the restrictions of the museum (i.e. no open flames (candles or for catering) and no red wine or spaghetti sauce). Otherwise I think it's a great place to have a wedding
