The Classic Center is a premier ballroom and banquet wedding venue in Athens, Georgia. This luxury event venue offers some of the area's most refined ballroom space and quality event services. Their award-winning facility and staff turn simple weddings into extraordinary experiences for couples and guests. They are conveniently located near downtown Athens and provide modern venue options to suit every size and style of wedding. If you're looking for a spacious, elegant, and full-service wedding venue in Athens, this ballroom can be the ideal solution.
Facilities and Capacity
The Classic Center offers six elegant ceremony and reception rooms for weddings of every size and budget. Each room can accommodate 100 to 300 guests for a banquet reception and up to 500 for indoor ceremonies. Two of the most famous ballrooms, the Olympia and Parthenon, feature vintage decors, elegant white drapery, and wood dance floors for up to 150 guests. The more intimate Foundry Street Building is a recently restored warehouse that offers a more industrial chic and modern ambiance. It features exposed brick and wood beams and the original warehouse doors. Four smaller banquet halls are available in the main building. The largest of the event spaces, The Athena Ballrooms, offers space for up to 500 guests in a theatre-style ceremony or 300 guests for a banquet reception. These ballrooms have white drapes, high ceilings, and chandeliers above the dance floor to promote the utmost elegance and sophistication.
Services Offered
The Classic Center staff work together to make your wedding dream come true. You'll be in contact with an event coordinator as well as a catering manager to plan out every detail of your day. The in-house caterer, Levy, provides all food and drink for your big day, including a custom banquet meal or a variety of hors d'oeuvres and buffet meal options. The event coordinator will then work with you to design the floor plan, coordinate your wedding day timeline with vendors, and execute the finishing touches for your event.
