My husband and I are extremely happy with our experience working with Mike and Hiko. They are very friendly and professional. They were very helpful at suggesting locations and poses and hyping up the crowd for group photos. Their editing skill is great too! We are VERY happy about our wedding photos. Mike was perfect for our wedding and our photos were stunning! We initially met with him for an engagement shoot to make sure we were comfortable and quickly confirmed we wanted to book him for the big day. He's so friendly, relaxed, and approachable. My husband and I weren't used to taking professional photos and posing but Mike was so easy to work with and helped us feel less awkward. We wanted a mix of posed and candid photos. The candids were really wonderful - you can feel the emotion behind them - and we were so happy to see how they turned out. Mike also did a great job of ensuring the background of beautiful Hawaii was featured, but didn't overshadow the people in the photos.

Mike is awesome both as a person and as a photographer! He was so easy to work with, made sure we were comfortable, and was able to capture the day perfectly. He also worked very well with all of our other vendors to make sure he wasn't in their way, but was still assertive enough to get the shots that he wanted. I can't recommend Mike and his team enough, you are in great hands with him!

Mike Pham was our wedding photographer and he was amazing! Wedding days are usually stressful, especially for the bride, but Mike has a calm, light-hearted, and easy-going demeanor which put me and my husband immediately at ease. He was actually our first vendor to show up on the wedding day, even before our day-of-coordinator and make-up artists. He was such a pleasure to work with that our wedding guests were even complimenting on how nice he was. We also loved the style of his photography because that fun, light-hearted spirit flowed through into our pictures which were not only romantic, but also playful. Prior to our wedding, Mike was also very helpful with wedding tips and suggestions to make the wedding day run smoother. Given Mike's experience in Hawaii, he's been to multiple wedding venues and so knows the best spots and angles to get the perfect picture, especially tricks on capturing that infamous Hawaii sunset wedding photo. My husband and I would recommend Mike to anyone who is looking for a professional photographer. You won't regret it!

We met Mike at the Wedding Café Workshops and decided to meet with him separately to get to know him better. He’s very professional yet easy going and matched us perfectly. We felt comfortable around him and could easily be ourselves. We felt that this was very important as we wanted our photos from our wedding day to reflect the couple that we are.

Our worries were put to rest on our wedding day when Mike did exactly what we thought he’d do…he made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He didn’t make us do any poses that didn’t feel natural to us and captured the most natural moments of the two of us. Looking at the photos we received it’s clear to me that Mike and his team were able to capture us as a couple in photos and I’ll cherish that forever.

And our wedding wasn’t the easiest… we had really beautiful weather but it was tremendously hot! Mike and his team were quickly working to make sure they captured every moment of our day. They were doing everything and anything to get the shot…dripping in sweat, but zero complaints. I admire their ability to keep the energy level high, people smiling and all the while keeping us on our timeline. Mike and his team are hard-working, dedicated and passionate about what they do. I would highly recommend him to others who are looking for a team that can offer just that.

The tremendous service didn’t stop on our wedding day. We received our photos in a timely manner and it was delivered to us in beautiful packaging. Packaging that exemplifies what Mike Pham Photography is all about… professional, top notch and the best!

Though there are many talented photographers on Oahu, Mike Pham truly stands out. When my hubby and I began our search for our wedding photographer, we knew we needed someone who was responsive to emails (it drives us totally bonkers when people don’t respond timely), wasn’t unreasonably priced, and whose style was photojournalistic. Mike is all that and a bag of sweet maui onion potato chips!

From the time we sent him the first email (inquiring about pricing and availability) to the last (thanking him for our lovely wedding photos), Mike was quick to respond, super friendly, and answered our many many questions. We love his photography style and thank the heavens that he wasn’t out-of-this-world pricey. We were pretty nervous as we sifted through his portfolio and worried that we wouldn’t be able to afford him, but Mike’s prices are very reasonable. :)

Mike was nice enough to meet with us before our big day and let us know it was okay that we are kind of awkward in front of a camera. He reassured us that he would provide us with ample direction, but would still keep it natural and organic. He definitely delivered on our big day. Mike and his crew showed up right on time and proceeded to divide and conquer. Mike came up to the bridal suite and his second shooter went down to the groomsmen’s room to begin snapping pics. Mike and his crew were very professional and kept us on schedule for photos all day and night. He had so many fun photo ideas and just genuinely loves what he does — and it really shows. The end result is an album full of photos we will treasure for a lifetime.

About 2 months after the wedding, we received the link to the online gallery, followed by a USB of all the photos and some select prints which arrived in a beautiful wooden box. Mike captured our day exactly as we want to remember it and we are so lucky to have been able to work with him.

Mike Pham is awesome! We first met Mike himself at the wedding cafe prior to deciding who to use for photography. I immediately loved his artistic style of photography and Mike's personality is great! Super nice guy, someone you instantly love! Communicating with Mike is easy as Mike is very efficient and dependable. Mike and his other photographer arrived on-time for the wedding day and immediately started taking photos. He and his staff are truly hard workers. Mike was even getting down on his knees to make sure the wedding dress was just right. They all worked so hard and even stayed later than planned, which we are very grateful and appreciative for. Can't wait to see the photos.

Mike is absolutely excellent! The hardest worker of all our wedding vendors, his passion for photography exudes out of him. While photography may be one of the more costly expenditures of your wedding, you will not regret choosing Mike. He has an amazing, artistic eye... But more importantly, he is a good person! Mike and his crew are amazing. He emails, calls and is very attentive when you're in the lead up to the wedding. I planned my destination wedding from Melbourne, Australia and I had a million questions as I'd only been through Honolulu once before. Mike helped me visualize everything and answered questions about weather, certain shots on the day, and a whole lot of other things. On the day, he's calm, knows what he's doing and is very efficient. His website and blog speak for itself. I love the photo-journalistic style and was so pleased with the way my photos turned out.
