Michael is so easy to get along with and takes the awkwardness out of taking professional photos. He is SO talented and you are guaranteed to love your photos. Our photos are so unique and capture both our relationship and all of the fun that took place at our wedding. I am so thankful for Michael capturing moments we can look back on over the years and remember how beautiful our wedding day was. We could not be happier with our wedding photos and we are so happy we chose to book Michael and trust him with our big day!

When I began planning my wedding I knew one of, if not THE most important thing was to capture each and every special moment- which meant I needed to find a great photographer. After contacting Michael David initially, I could tell it was already a match. The way he described his love for documenting weddings and the love between husband and wife was what initially spoke to me. He focused more on capturing the moment, then staging the moment... which was also really important and what I wanted my photos to reflect years down the line. Day of the wedding, Mike + team was SO SO attentive. Literally the nicest group of people, truly focusing on each and every detail of the day. Throughout the night Mike would go out of his way to ensure my husband and I were 100% satisfied, and this was more than just with our photography (asking if he could fill up our drinks or if we needed anything, etc). ABOVE AND BEYOND. Truly blew my expectations out of the water. AND, although we havent yet got our photos back, Mike would show us a few periodically throughout the wedding day/night to give us a glimpse of what was being captured... (of course leaving us anxiously wanting more and waiting for the day that we get to see all of the photos!!)
Needless to say, Mike is your guy. He is detail oriented, prompt, so kind and attentive and truly will exceed your expectations. He is the BEST!!! I am so grateful we got to share our wedding day with him!

Booking Mike to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. I'm a TV producer and was very nervous about selecting a photographer and videographer for the big day. Just ask my husband who had to sit through my endless questions during countless interviews with vendors! One of the first things we noticed about Mike was his passion. He truly loves what he does -- and it shows! Thumbing through his portfolio, we instantly fell in love with how he captured emotion and his eye for candid shots. We also loved how vibrant and crisp his photos were. We also did an engagement shoot with Mike back in February in Jamestown. We live out of town and specifically flew in for the shoot. As luck would have it, it rained the entire weekend. Since our selected site for the shoot was outdoors, Mike quickly came up with a list of alternate sites. But our original location had sentimental value so he told us he'd be willing to shoot in the rain as long as we were game. So, we did our engagement shoot in the rain...and it poured! But it turned out to be one of the most memorable days. And our photos from that day are so unique. It's a testament to Mike - he's willing to do whatever it takes to get the best shots. When it came to our wedding -- Mike captured traditional photos but also looked for more creative angles and moments throughout the day. At one point he even broke out dancing with my Mom! (My family loved him!) We are so grateful we found someone as talented, passionate and creative as Mike. And we feel like we made a lifelong friend in the process.

Mike is AWESOME! The photos were an important aspect of the wedding for me, and I agonized over the decision. We met with Mike twice before officially booking him for our wedding. He answered and addressed all of our questions and concerns, as well as put my mind at ease. The quality of his pictures speak for themselves. They are beautiful, dynamic, candid, and captured all the beautiful, wonderful moments of our wedding. I can’t stop looking at them! Mike was a pleasure to work with. He is fun, considerate, genuine, and kept us laughing with his great sense of humor. I would highly recommend him to any couple looking to have the perfect pictures for their special day.

My husband and I cannot say enough about Mike. He is amazing at what he does and he has an eye like no other. His pictures always come out beautiful and it really doesn't matter where you are when he captures your photo it always comes out amazing. Upon meeting Mike for the first time, he greeted us with hot chocolate and was very friendly and made us feel at ease. It did not take long for us to make the decision to go with Mike. Our engagement session was very fun and flew by. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and made us laugh the entire time. On our wedding day he was very attentive and captured everything we asked for. He even added last minute ides like a beautiful shot of just my husband and I in a church pew and it came out absolutely gorgeous like out of a magazine. Mike is very prompt with answering e-mails and phone calls. I will admit I did experience some wedding panic moments in the last two weeks before the wedding and Mike helped me threw it all.

We couldn’t have been happier about having Mike as our wedding photography. From start to finish, he was responsive, attentive, flexible, and fun! Mike took absolutely beautiful photos of our wedding and he even photographed our pre-wedding tailgate in lieu of engagement photos. Since we planned our Boston wedding long distance, we were unable to meet Mike until the day before our wedding but we clicked with him immediately. On the day of our wedding, Mike was constantly checking in with my husband and me to make sure we were ok and to remind us that the day was about us, and to do what we wanted to do! Our wedding party and guests also raved about how great and fun he was. Mike worked with us to design a custom photo package that suited us and our budget, which was very a big relief after talking to many photographers whose set packages did not cut it. I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone looking for a great wedding photography in the Boston area!

Mike truly understands the value of love, friends and family (he is madly in love with his wife), which I think is very important, because he knows exactly what to look for when shooting couples. He makes great recommendations for pictures, and really captures the true moment. As a photographer, he makes you feel very comfortable as well, which is very important! My wedding was over a year ago so I am a little late with this review, however, it now allows me to emphasize how important it is to hire an amazing photographer. My husband and I agreed up front that a good photographer was really important to us so we cut corners in other areas of the planning process so that we could hire a photographer that would give us memories to last a life time. Yes cutting corners in other areas is going to cause many headaches and tough decisions but trust me Mike is worth it! I am not exaggerating in any way when I say that hiring Mike was the best decision that we made for our entire wedding. I look back at the pictures from that day quite often (ok daily if I am being honest) and every time it brings me back to what an amazing and special day it was. I am not a picture person at all I typically feel uncomfortable and awkward in front of a camera but Mike has this way of making a person feel so relaxed and comfortable in their own skin. A lot of wedding vendors today have become extremely complaisant and your wedding is just another day on the job and another paycheck for them. Mike is not one of those vendors, he will make you feel like your wedding is the most important thing he could be doing that day from the moment that he arrives to the second you drive off with your new spouse. If you still are not sure go to his website and check out his work, if you are like me you are thinking.. wow these are great but can he really make my DIY decor and rustic location look as amazing as these photos...the answer is absolutely!
