Michael was SO prepared and had a wonderful setup, including lights. He was good to work with and made sure he had everything right before the party!!

Michael is by far the best! He made sure everything ran smoothly from the ceremony to reception! He is very detailed and even does a phone call consultation prior to the wedding to go over everything, and to answer any questions. He brought the party to our reception and had everyone dancing! I was blown away by how attentive he was to my husband and I. He made sure we had everything we needed and he even made sure we were able to eat without being interrupted by guests, which was awesome! I highly recommend Michael!

Michael is the best! We loved him. He was an amazing emcee and really helped with the flow of our night. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the music and lighting. He also made sure that we got a break from people coming up to talk to us at the reception so we could eat. He was definitely one of my favorite vendors we had!

Michael Branson did an excellent job as DJ for my daughter's wedding. Not only did he play a great variety of music to keep the celebration going, he did an excellent job with the ceremony sound needs as well. Michael was super easy to work with and was awesome at keeping the party going even at my small, intimate Covid wedding with a small dance floor. Michael coordinated the microphones for the officiant and my husband and I for the ceremony and had an amazing set up with speakers and lighting in the reception space. He was engaging with our guests and even taught guests how to do line dances! I cannot recommend Michael highly enough!

If you are a North Carolina bride, you should absolutely consider hiring Michael. Two of my very good friends used him at their weddings and I remember thinking "wow...this guy is a good time!" When it came time to book our wedding, my fiancé and I reached out to multiple larger DJ companies in Charlotte. Their responsiveness and professionalism had nothing on Michael.
He provided our ceremony set up for audio, cocktail hour, and played for our reception. He sent a very detailed and organized document to us immediately after booking asking what kind of music we wanted played, what order our wedding party would be introduced, and what we did NOT want played. A week before the wedding we had a FaceTime meeting. He had so many great suggestions and made us feel SO comfortable.
During our wedding he was a dream. He worked very well with our wedding coordinator - making sure everything ran so smoothly. He even went as far as making sure we had drinks the entire night. Seriously grade AAAAAA service.

Michael went above and beyond in the entire wedding process. He was organized by sending a mailed packet form for me to fill out with plenty of time. When there were certain songs I was having trouble picking out, he provided helpful suggestions. Michael was timely and provided beautiful back-lighting. He also encourages the use of a "last dance" in addition to the first dance. While I was hesitant at first, this moment became one of the most special memories for my husband and I! Michael kept our guests on the dance floor for the entire reception bringing in the fun group dances if he noticed the crowd slowing down, and slowing it down when it looked like everyone needed a break. On top of doing everything wonderfully as a DJ, Michael thoughtfully checked on my husband and I during dinner to ensure we had everything we needed, and even brought us drinks. If all of that wasn't enough to sway you, Michael is incredibly affordable. You will not be disappointed with his work!

Michael Branson was the DJ for my husband and I's NYE wedding. We were thrilled by all of his thoughtfulness and planning for our reception and boy did it pay off. My husband's sister is a DJ and we were nervous about picking someone that we had never met, but Michael was incredibly polite and he was everything we were looking for. Michael was exceedingly professional and met with my husband and I weeks in advance to plan timing, music choices, etc. We were so impressed and we would definitely use his services again!
