I told Michael on one of my social media feeds that he has a natural talent for capturing in photos the love and joy people have on special days in their lives. That same comment I felt the need to reiterate in this review because its the spirit of what I now know he is capable of, and what I believe is important for others to know if they are looking for a photographer for their wedding, engagement, maternity shoot, or a proposal. My wife and I now have gorgeous sunset photos to look back at our wedding day for the rest of our lives thanks to Michael. He is super awesome to work with - very accommodating, responds fast to all of your questions/concerns, is creative, and throws in plenty of fun ideas during shoots!

If you have doubts about what I just said, I highly recommend checking out some of his work posted here or on his other outlets. But heed my advice and look no further if you are trying to get someone to help you capture the spirit of your celebration in life - Michael Astorga is the right person for the job.

Michael is honestly so amazing! I’m not someone that is comfortable in front of a camera. It’s actually something I don’t enjoy. But with Michael as the photographer the experience blew me away. I never felt more secure or confident before. I loved every moment of it as well as my partner. We look forward to using him again in the near future!

Michael has a way of capturing moments so perfectly they make you feel like you’re right back in them. I asked Michael to focus on candid photos at our wedding and the results are unbelievable. He also helped turn our engagement photo session into a family photo session on the beach and we will cherish those photos forever. He is extremely professional and great to work with on all levels. My sister is a wedding photographer and was blown away by his work. We can’t thank him enough for everything he did for our family and friends!

Michael was an absolute delight to work with. He was full of surprises throughout our wedding day. Right after our ceremony and wedding party/family photos, he took us out for little off-roading adventure to take some intimate photos (the highlight of our day). It was up this hill before sun down, less than a mile from the venue. Pictures turned out amazing! Then later at the reception, my family noticed how he took one of my young nephews under his wing. My nephew loves taking photos and Michael was giving him professional tips. My nephew stood by his side all night. It was the most adorable thing ever! Then the following day when my husband and I were opening our wedding gifts, amongst the gift cards… there was a card from Michael with a sweet message and polaroid photos of our special day. We thought it was so unexpectedly cool to have hard copy photos given to us before the long wait of the actual wedding photos.

Best way to describe our overall experience with Michael as our photographer, was “Simply Easy and Fun”. We will certainly be contacting him again for any future photography needs.

I am so happy that we decided on Michael Astorga for our photographer for our wedding and engagement photoshoot. He was very professional yet also fun to work with. I felt very relaxed and myself when taking photos and he really knew how to make the photos look amazing. I could not believe how beautiful they looked when I got them back. In addition to beautiful people shots, he is also REALLY good at landscape pictures and working with the lighting. Coming from someone who is very self conscious about taking photos, I absolutely loved how they turned out, which is absolutely how you should feel when you look back at your wedding photos. Would highly recommend Michael Astorga 10/10. Even my bridesmaids are recommending him to other people by word of mouth because of how truly beautiful the pictures turned out.
