Micah Cummings Photography is a boutique photography studio based in Virginia Beach. Micah has a relaxed and candid approach to wedding photography. With 15 years of experience she knows how to make the photographic part of the day go smoothly while still being fun. She has photographed weddings all over the country including San Diego, Virginia Beach, Nashville, Newport, R.I., West Virginia, North Carolina, San Francisco, Disneyland, Morristown, N.Y., Washington D.C., and Germany.

Her style is a mix of timeless and romantic poses with both creative and natural candids. Micah designs beautiful wedding albums that are made with the highest quality products. They are archival and made to last for generations.

Micah did a great job rolling with the punches of the big day. We had great weather until the very minute the wedding ceremony started, then it was pouring rain and thunder storms. She and her assistant just went with it, captured some funny umbrella shots, did great with being pulled in different directions by different people, and the final products looked wonderful. If you are looking for an easy going, professional, who wants your day to be your day Micah is the photographer for your next event.

Micah was amazing to work with from the very beginning. She tailored a package to exactly what we wanted and even gave us a military discount. She is a true professional and does the highest quality of work. She always went above and beyond to make sure we got the shots we wanted and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera (we both usually hate having our pictures taken). We also had Erica as a second photographer, which really helped us to capture both sides of every event and compact the schedule for the day. They were great with all the guests and small children. So many people came up to me afterwards and said how nice and hospitable they were. We can't wait work with them again!

I first met Micah at a bridal show and knew that she was the perfect photographer for us from day one. She has always responded quickly and professionally. We booked our engagement session and our wedding day with her. Our engagement photos came out beautifully! We had them printed on a story board that Micah designed for us, that we now proudly display in our dining room. She made two people who are awkward in front of the camera look and feel great! Our wedding photos are phenomenal and my only problem is trying to decide which ones to display, there are so many beautiful shots! I have nothing but awesome things to say about her and I would recommend her to everyone.

I cannot say enough positive about our experience with Micah! She is an excellent photographer and has a heart of gold! Working states away and coordinating with her was painless and we received much more than we asked for or agreed to have! We spent 8+ hours with Micah in just 2 days and not only do we have flawless, lifelong photos; we have a lifelong friend. THANK YOU MICAH!! We miss you!

If you want someone that takes AMAZING photos, cares about you, your family, and the wedding party then Micah is someone I 100% recommend!! She is very good at getting back to you with any questions you may have. She makes sure you get the pictures you want throughout the day. It was raining all throughout the day before our ceremony but she made sure we found places to take the pictures when we had breaks from the rain! Micah is truly a photographer that makes sure she captures your day rain or shine & having your photos turn out INCREDIBLE! She will make your day SPECIAL!

MIcah was so amazing I don't even know where to begin! She did our engagement pics which turned out beautiful! She captured so many moments and really photographed my wedding inside and out so even if I missed out on something that day (because it was such a whirlwind of a day,) I can look at my photo album and know that I didn't. I am a florist and I use my wedding album to show clients different ideas and their first question is always "who was your photographer?!" She is loved so much in our town and is so talented that two of my bridesmaids and two of my close friends also used her as their photographer! I can't wait till she comes back and takes our family photos!

Micah not only was easy to work with she captured such amazing moments when we had no idea she was taking pictures. She also captured the overall feeling of our wedding. It was small and very personal with close friends and family. The joy we shared and the fun everyone was having is very apparent in our photos. We relive our special day every time we look at them. We LOVE her!!!!
