Peter Merry was absolutely phenomenal! He was our MC at our wedding on October 1st. He and his amazing wife Audrae (she was my day of coordinator) were so organized. The way both were so invested in our wedding and how much thought and effort and planning that was put into our big day. They are the people that you want on your side! My fiancée and I truly lucked out to have these two. We had issues at our reception regarding re arranging the tables. It was really stressful and the reception was not really being all to flexible. When it was time to meet with that venue about this issue, Peter was there with us! He and Audrae worked on the table arrangements themselves. And presented them to our reception venue. We would have never been able to get those tables placed where we wanted without those 2. Peter made such a detailed outline for our big day. This helped keep ALL of our vendors on the same page. They are the perfect duo. Our guest are still raving on how great of a job those two did. The MC is what sets the tone for the ceremony and reception, there was no awkwardness. Everything flowed so nicely and smoothly. Peter really made us feel our wedding was about us. He did an audio of us explaining to him on we met and just the silly stuff that happened during our journey. Audrae did so much work. She picked up all of our flowers and brought them to the ceremony. She steamed my brides maids' dresses and was such an amazing advocate for us. Not to mention the huge job she had to break down the reception space. They are worth every penny and work so hard. If anyone is having a wedding big or small I highly recommend going with them. We may be biased, as Peter or Merry Weddings is my (now) husband’s cousin, but he made our wedding AMAZING! From the ceremony music, to the grand entrance, to the reception, everything he did was above and beyond. Days before the wedding, Peter met me at the venue so we could practice my walk to the music to figure out cues. He worked with us for months leading up via FaceTime to make our wedding vision come true. We honestly could not be more happy with having had him as our DJ! We completely recommend Peter to anyone looking for a superb DJ who takes weddings and turns them into masterpieces.

Peter is the most incredible DJ/MC that I have ever seen or worked with. My husband and I booked him for our Kansas City wedding in June 2018... and, (from our amazing team of vendors), we would have to say that Peter was the best decision we made. Peter is the most dedicated MC. During the first meetings, he will work with you to understand details about your wedding and how to personalize the entire reception. From there, we worked with him on planning the entire night! Not a detail was left out and it was EXACTLY what we wanted and more!! The best decision of our wedding planning process was hiring Entertainment Director and Legend, Peter Merry with Merry Weddings! I am still on cloud 9 from our wedding in October and we have Peter to thank for that. I knew from my first conversation with Peter he was going to help me plan the wedding I wanted and imagined. I saw Peter was based in Kansas City, but he travels for his clients. He traveled from Kansas City to Manhattan/Olsburg, KS for our wedding. The planning process with Peter is smooth, organized and most of all FUN! He has an organized timeline planned out to help with the ease of planning all your wedding needs. This timeline helped keep me on track and eased my stress - it was such a huge help. Your big day will be personalized down to every detail you request.

Peter helped with the planning and entertainment for my rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception. You don't need an outside wedding coordinator when you hire Peter! He helped with extra details and even ran a few errands to pick up supplies I had forgot about. I was so thankful for that!

Our reception was AMAZING! From the hilarious grand entrance (our family and friends are still talking about this) to the dance party, and our surprise choreographed dance. Which Peter helped put together the dance mix track we wanted for this. He also has some fun surprises he does for his couples throughout the evening, however I want to keep this a surprise. If you want to find out what they are, well you will just have to book him. Our friends and family said our wedding was the best and most memorable one they had ever been to. My husband and I would like to think that's because we are "kind of big deals", but let's be real - Peter is the "big deal". Our best wedding ever would not have been possible without him!

Peter and his wife did an amazing job with our wedding. If you want a DJ who actually wants to get to know you and your wedding party this is your guy.

He isn't just a DJ but basically the wedding planner as well, from creating the itinerary to making sure everything runs smoothly. There was never a lull where people were just sitting around not knowing what was going on.

You can have the perfect venue & perfect food, but if your DJ doesn't keep the party going and flowing smoothly that will be all the guest think about. You truly don't realize how important a DJ really is until you go to other weddings, and it is amazing how much of a difference it is. You can tell when a DJ just shows up and doesn't even know the groom and bride's names until he reads it off the piece of paper (usually gets it wrong I might add).

And we are so grateful for his wife, she literally cleaned up paint off carpet. Made sure everything was in the right place, and even setup our ceremony as it had rained and needed to be moved inside the day of.

You can really tell these two love what they do, and will give you 100% of their dedication to making sure your day goes off without a hitch.

He guides you through the entire process from every song for entrances, special requests and surprises in between, to the last dance. I never realized before that a Dj does more than just hit the play button on an iPod connected to some speakers. A DJ really can turn your reception from needing a lot of booze to get your guests on the dance floor, to everyone feeling recognized and wanting to get on the dance floor because they're having such a good time!!

Peter is amazing! Growing up , I attended a number of wedding Peter did and I knew when my day came I wouldn't have a wedding without him. He's a magic maker.
