Our photos came out SO beautifully and she was such a kind, calming, and professional presence leading up to our wedding and on the day itself. She made sure to answer all of our questions, even the questions we didn’t know we had. On our wedding day she gave us just enough direction to make us feel comfortable without making our photos look staged. I was also so impressed with how well she wrangled all of our family members into our family shots! It was such a joy to get our photos back and see our day reflected so perfectly. Melissa was one of our favorite parts of our wedding day. She was calm, organized, and thorough with all of the shots that we asked for - and was willing to climb into a treehouse to get extra fun shots as well. She had the photos ready for us quicker than her estimate, and even sent us some early with our moms for Mother's day. Melissa was a dream to work with. We have to reschedule our wedding multiple times due to COVID, and she was extremely understanding. She understood our vision for the day and who we were as a couple. She provided excellent direction on the wedding day (you need someone to wrangle all those family members), while also allowing us to enjoy the event and not spend the whole time taking photos. The pictures turned out BEAUTIFULLY! Not over exposed or over saturated, beautifully shot, they were everything we had hoped for and more!

We knew from our first phone call with Melissa that she was going to be the perfect fit for our day! We didn't have any experience working closely with a photographer, but Melissa helped us get started, guided us through the whole process, and answered any and all questions.
