I can’t say enough positive things about our experience working with Melissa! Our photos came out SO beautifully and she was such a kind, calming, and professional presence leading up to our wedding and on the day itself. She made sure to answer all of our questions, even the questions we didn’t know we had. On our wedding day she gave us just enough direction to make us feel comfortable without making our photos look staged. I was also so impressed with how well she wrangled all of our family members into our family shots! It was such a joy to get our photos back and see our day reflected so perfectly. I am so happy we chose to work with Melissa! -

Melissa was one of our favorite parts of our wedding day. She was calm, organized, and thorough with all of the shots that we asked for - and was willing to climb into a treehouse to get extra fun shots as well. She had the photos ready for us quicker than her estimate, and even sent us some early with our moms for Mother's day. We've looked through our photos hundreds of times already and every one captures the joy we felt on our wedding day perfectly. -

We knew from our first phone call with Melissa that she was going to be the perfect fit for our day! We didn't have any experience working closely with a photographer, but Melissa helped us get started, guided us through the whole process, and answered any and all questions. On the day of our wedding, Melissa made us feel so comfortable and even arrived early to pick out the best spots and lighting at our venue. Even after our big day, Melissa kept such great communication and updated us on our wedding album which we appreciated so much! We are so thankful for Melissa and we loved every minute of working together. We highly recommend!!! -

I heard of Melissa through a mutual friend. After speaking with Melissa on a call, I instantly knew she would be perfect for our small, intimate wedding that we were planning in just 3 short weeks. She cared, listened, and was a great team player. Melissa was extremely attentive and communicative, and with her guidance, we made it all come together very quickly. I had no idea our small, low-key wedding could look incredibly beautiful. We will treasure these photos forever! -

Fantastic experience with Melissa
Melissa is such a fantastic photographer. We loved having her at our wedding, and she also did a great engagement shoot for us. We chose Melissa because we loved her portfolio, and the pictures she took for us (both at our wedding, and during our engagement shoot) turned out wonderfully. She is passionate about her work and has a great eye for detail. I would highly recommend Melissa! -

If you're considering booking Melissa as your wedding photographer...just go ahead and do it. It will be the best decision you make for your wedding. Melissa is so professional, friendly, kind and talented. She went above and beyond. We would definitely hire her again for any other photography needs and would recommend to any friends getting married in the area. She really captured the spirit of our celebration and so many people said to me afterward "You had the nicest and most fun wedding photographer!" We're so in love with our photos and look at them all the time to remember our special day. We also weren't the most traditional couple and Melissa was completely supportive. Thank you, Melissa, for being incredible in all respects!!! -

I cannot say enough about Melissa Maureen- how incredibly thankful we are that she was our photographer the day we got married. The day before the wedding our venu closed due to Covid-19 and we had to coordinate a change-of-venu and change-of-time of ceremony. Melissa stuck with us, swooped in, and took control of a very tricky/stressful situation. 3 things stand out remarkably to me: her incredible EFFORT, her CALM/Professionalism, and her TALENT. She was so capable! She navigated stressed people with cheerfulness and tact, and she was able to get beautiful photographs with such limited scenery. The quality of the images we received was as if we had planned for weeks and had the most luxurious retreat day of a wedding. I am still amazed; the rest of the wedding party was shocked as well! They also noticed how she was able to capture our personalities (not just attractive angles) as well as poignant details/moments during the ceremony and with family & friends. We LOVE Melissa Maureen. -

Melissa came recommended by another wedding photographer (who happened to not be available on our date). In an industry where you have loads of choices, being recommended by a peer said a great deal about her skill and professionalism before we even met her. From our first interaction through our final photo delivery, Melissa was always prompt in her communications.
Her bright, airy photography style perfectly captured our spring wedding. She was fun and friendly, important qualities in someone you will spend a great deal of time with on your wedding day. We wanted some posed as well as editorial style photos and she did a great job capturing both. In addition to the standard bride and groom/family shots she took lots of great pictures of our guests. Logistically our wedding was complicated (different ceremony and reception sites) and we dealt with the dreaded wedding day rain. Melissa was incredibly flexible and made us feel confident that we would have great photos despite the circumstances!
We loved working with Melissa and would highly recommend her!

We absolutely loved working with Melissa and her team! She is so easygoing and thoughtful, and really listened to us as we discussed our thoughts for how we'd like our day to go / to be captured. She put my husband and me at ease through all of our portraits, yet commanded the group when it was time to get everyone together for all of the bigger group shots. We met with her twice before our wedding day, and we really felt like she worked hard to get to know us as a couple before the big day arrived.
After the wedding day, she gave us a great sneak peak of our photos through the PhotoMemories app, and then when the full set of photos was ready, she sent us a link to the full album, and sent a USB with both web-ready and full-size images.
It was truly a pleasure to work with Melissa, and I would absolutely recommend her to capture your day! -

Molly Sent on 12/06/2017Melissa was so easy to work with, from the time we booked her though the wedding. She was responsive and well organized - she asked all the right questions ahead of time, including asking us to send photo combinations in advance so there was no scrambling when the time came. On the day of the wedding she was enthusiastic, but she also let us guide how many photos we wanted to take and for how long before/after our courthouse ceremony. We felt completely comfortable with her, and we are so pleased with the photos we've seen so far. I highly recommend her!

She photographed my best friends wedding for whom I was the maid of honor, and therefore tasked with helping plan and organize the details of the wedding and all the large families on the day. Melissa made it soooooo easy and fun! She has a quality about her that puts everyone at ease on what is a beautiful, fun, but very hectic day. She has a talented eye for composition and I think her photos are just incredible. Elegant and playful is what I would say about her style, and the pictures she took gave me and my best friend something to look back on again and again and really remember the feeling of the day. She is very responsive and communicates easily and professionally. Throughout the day she offered guidance at appropriate times, and was keen at directing shots to make sure we had all we wanted and more! She blended into the background as she really covered more than you'd think a single person could! They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and just looking at her work tells you she is incredibly skilled, creative, and thorough. That combined with her energetic and pleasant attitude make her a rare find and an easy choice for any other photos I will need now and in the future.
