Facilities and Capacity
Melia Braco Village offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces overlooking a private white sand beach. The resort features Georgian-style architecture, and its beach and garden wedding locations comfortably accommodate up to 400 guests. A gazebo is available for smaller weddings. The bridal suite is over 3,000 square feet in size and includes a spacious dressing room with make up and hair styling stations, as well as a display wardrobe, fitting room, wall mirrors, and a pedestal.
Services Offered
Upon booking Melia Braco Village, all couples are assigned an experienced romance specialist to help in the planning and coordination of your destination wedding. All wedding packages include access to the bridal suite, lighting, sound, chairs, tables, flatware, glassware, linens, and set up and clean up service. A list of preferred vendors is provided to you upon booking. Aisle markers, aisle runners, altars, arches, centerpieces, chair covers, dance floors, furniture, tents, and general decor are available to add to your package. Melia Braco Village is happy to host your ceremony, reception, bridal shower, engagement party, and rehearsal dinner, and is also happy to service elopements. All areas are wheelchair accessible, and full parking is provided.
Cuisine
The Melia Braco Village culinary staff offers a variety of fresh local cuisine options for weddings. Meals are served plated or buffet style, and a pre-wedding complimentary tasting session is available upon request. Cake cutting, desserts, servers, and a wedding cake are included in all packages. A chocolate fountain is available to rent if desired. All bar service packages include bartenders, a champagne toast house liquor, house wine, limited bar, and a signature drink. Open bar options are also available for interested couples.
Accommodation
Melia Braco Village offers a total of 232 guest rooms and suites in colonial-style buildings. Overnight guests enjoy access to a spa and wellness center, a gym, a children’s club, a babysitting service, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, six restaurants, four bars, an adventure park, and outdoor pools and jacuzzis.

Best. Wedding. Ever.
We can't say enough amazing things about Nischelle Serju, the wedding coordinator, and Coreen Chin, the catering manager. They were both so incredible to work with and went out of their way to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. They made our entire party feel so special and the love and care they put into our event was so clear to everyone. They felt like family by the end of the week!
From our welcome drinks event the day before our wedding, to our ceremony on the beach by the Level (it's the BEST spot to get married on the resort, in my humble opinion), to our reception in the glass pavilion - everything was stunning and worked out perfectly. Nischelle was with us every step of the way, and Coreen's team did an incredible job with the set up. The food at our reception (which, to be honest we didn't give much thought to during the planning process) was absolutely delicious - our guests were raving about it. During the planning process I sent a reference picture of a cake I liked from Pinterest and Coreen was able to make our cake look EXACTLY like it. I was totally blown away. And that's just one small example of how Melia exceeded our expectations.
As you can probably tell, we can't recommend Melia Braco Village highly enough - wish we could go back and do it all again, it was seriously the BEST.
One thing I would say in general is that destination weddings definitely require flexibility and a more "go with the flow" approach to your day. My husband and I didn't have a super specific vision of what we wanted, so it made the decision making process easy, and if minor things changed at the last minute, we didn't sweat it. I realize not everyone is like that, so thought it was worth mentioning as a piece of planning advice.

Melia Braco Village is an absolutely beautiful setting for weddings. It is truly a unique resort in Jamaica. Unlike other hotels in the region, Melia has a very boutique luxury feel. From a photography standpoint there are so many different types of back drops to really produce spectacular images. Additionally, the wedding team is superb. They are very attentive to their couples and their weddings guests. It would be a dream come true for any couple getting married at Melia Braco Village.
