With several years of experience in the industry, owner Melanie has helped more than 100 couples document their milestone day. Before opening this business, she worked as an assistant photographer for her father's photography company.
Services Offered
Melanie Jo Photography offers tailored packages that are designed to suit each couple's budget. Each plan includes the help of a second photographer to ensure no detail goes unnoticed. Couples are given the printing rights to every edited image, which are available on a personalized flash drive. They can also enjoy the images of their day on a convenient online gallery. Melanie and her team commit to just one wedding per day, giving couples their full attention. This company is happy to offer engagement sessions in addition to wedding coverage.

I would 1000% recommend Melanie Jo Photography to anyone and everyone, including my close friends and family. Melanie did our engagement photos and wedding photos. We had so much fun working with her and her assistant(s). By the end of the wedding Melanie felt more like a friend that we’ve known and laughed with for years, than a photographer that we’d only recently met. Melanie had great ideas and also was able to go with the flow when I wanted to try ideas of my own. She also was insanely patient with our large wedding party, two toddlers who were the flower girl and ring bearer, and our large family. We had a barn wedding on a beautiful sunny day and wow the pictures come out amazing. It was such a fairytale and I’m so grateful that I have Melanie’s photographs to remember the day by. I can’t wait to work with Melanie in the future!

Intimate backyard wedding captured beautifully!
For our intimate backyard wedding Melanie and her second shooter took so many great photos without intruding on our day. She arrived early and stayed a little longer to make sure she got the shots she and I wanted, and she produced beautiful work. I’m so grateful we picked Melanie. We also live 6+ hours away but Melanie set up calls and met with us when we were in town so we felt comfortable.

Great Experience
Melanie was an awesome photographer! She really was flexible, making sure we got all the pictures we wanted (and with a family as large as mine that takes a lot of time). I loved the candid pictures she took of the wedding party as we were getting ready, the detail pictures of my accessories, and especially the ones of the ceremony itself. I cannot recommend her enough!!

Incredible experience!
From our engagement photos to the wedding day, Melanie made the process stress free and fun! She listened to what we wanted and were hoping to capture from our day, which allowed us to just enjoy our wedding and not worry about missing any special moments. I could not have asked for a better photographer!

Couldn’t be happier
Our service was nothing short of spectacular, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The photos came out amazing! Melanie was super flexible and accommodating the entire way through and not once did we have an issue with them at our side. Would recommend them 100 times over.
