This was the first wedding reception at Mela Indian Restaurant. The food was phenomenal, as it always is. The restaurant is beautiful. The staff was professional for the most part. The only complaint I have is that in decorating the restaurant, I told the planner/ manager to call me if she needed to pick something else up so I could approve the cost, as I was working for a budget. She did not and at the end of the reception, as I wrote the check she sprung a three hundred dollar floral bill on me. This might not have even been a problem but, I had already purchased flowers and they were much cheaper. Now, she did make the place look gorgeous. A phone call would've given them 5 stars in responsiveness and professionalism.
