Just wow! Diana and Scott were able to help us out on very short notice, and we were so happy with the way things turned out! Easy to work with, responsive and a positive attitude about our event. We really got the feeling they cared about us, and how our party turned out for our family and friends. Being that there are two of them...the extra helping hands were wonderful! Diana even went so far as to refill drink dispensers and keep an eye on food, etc. without being asked. I know this is not expected of a DJ by any means, but it just shows their willingness to go above and beyond to help make the event a success. Would definitely recommend them for a wedding, large backyard party or any other event!

I will start by saying I would gladly give Scott and Diana McKinney two thumbs up for everything they did for us that special weekend. My wife Allison and myself (Tony) decided to have a destination wedding in the Rockies, traveling from Nashville Tennessee. Our first choice for the venue was the Snow Mountain Ranch, who gave us contact information for the Mckinneys and gave them a great reference. After starting to get everything in this crazy process started, Allison (who lined up 98% of our wedding celebration) knew with out a doubt we found the perfect Dj. They provided us with everything we needed to make sure their services were exactly what we wanted...... By the end of the night, Scott and Diane were practically part of our family. They went above and beyond their expectations to et us through the night. They kept the mood wonderful with great music and fun games! They helped with set up and tear down of the entire event, played some special songs at he end :), saved my sister in laws cup and mailed it home to us, and Diane even found the time to take some wonderful extra pictures of the whole night. They traveled for us, and even made their own weekend trip out of it. Trust us, if McKinney Entertainment is available, make life easier and bring them on board! You'll see what I mean, I promise!

My husband and I used McKinney Entertainment for our wedding reception this past July and could not have been more pleased with the service we received! They were friendly and eager to answer any questions that we had. They also provided us with a flexible payment plan, which allowed us to better budget for our wedding overall. Their online portal is very helpful as well, as it allowed our guests and wedding party to request songs before the wedding. It also allowed my husband and I to organize what music we wanted for the important points in our reception (first dance, father/daughter etc). Scott was very professional during the wedding and many of our guests commented on the quality of the music! We were married in a historic hotel with some restrictions on what kinds of music and what sort of equipment could be used there, but it was no problem for Scott! The hotel even commented to us about how much they appreciated his flexibility and respect for the space.
McKinney Entertainment is the perfect service for couples who don't want that "DJ in the club" experience for their wedding: everything they provided for us was tasteful and, while Scott helped us keep events flowing, he was not over the top. He cared about our vision for the day and how we imagined music fit into it, not about attention for himself (which was the impression we got from some of the other DJs we talked to). He was able to get everyone onto the dance floor and even accommodated my mother and her friends, who had planned a flash-mob style choreographed dance for the reception without my knowledge. We cannot recommend them highly enough! You will not be disappointed! :-)

I can't say enough about Diana. We recently got married and had an intimate gathering of our friends and family at the Twin Owls Steakhouse in Estes Park, Co. Although we were not having a typical "dance your socks off wedding" we wanted someone to be our "point person" to help greet guests as they arrive, collect gifts, coordinate with the venue host and other vendors, set up both indoor and outdoor sound, introduce our speeches, run a fun wedding game etc. There were many little details that my wife and I didn't want to worry about - and boy did Diana come through! She flourishes in the role of wedding coordinator if that's what you are looking for. She was professional (showed up to the event 3 hours early to prepare), courteous, and came to my wife and I with appropriate and timely questions related to the logistics of the night. I think the thing that impressed me most about her was that of all the vendors I met with she was BY FAR the most flexible and reasonable. She would met with us on multiple Sundays due to our inflexible schedules and was the only vendor that TRULY understood what it meant to plan a wedding on a budget, working with us on our package so we could afford her services. Without a doubt, if you are looking for an extremely skilled, professional and flexible wedding coordinator/MC, Diana and McKinney entertainment is the way to go!

Scott and Diana McKinney were AMAZING to work with!! Not only are they fantastic at what they do, from DJing to Master of Ceremonies to even snapping some of my most treasured photos, they are all around amazing people. My now husband and I didn't have to look at any other DJs after we met with the McKinneys. We loved their professionalism and fun demeanor. They worked with us on everything that we wanted and even let us throw in a surprise money dance that we never planned. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic DJ. My friends and family who attended raved about them, and said that I couldn't have picked a better DJ. If I had to do it all over again there is no way I wouldn't choose them again!

Scott and Diana were great. Diana filled in at the venue when someone called in sick, and helped get the flow going after the ceremony. Since we didn't have to many songs that we had to have, we let Scott have free reign over the music, and he did a good job. I will definitely use them again and recommend them.
