Experience
Matt began his photography career in high-school, which then led him to a successful stint photographing for Towson University's student newspaper. Matt spent many months capturing the unique cultures and environments of Southeast Asia and New Zealand. These experiences have enabled Matt to channel his talents into what he now loves to do: capture couples and their stories.

Couldn't have captured our moment better!

Matthew was absolutely amazing and easy to work with! He knew the area, had other suggestions outside of just our photos, and was super genuine in his advice and thoughts of how best to capture our special day! Not only was he responsive, but extremely knowledgeable of our area, and knew exactly where to go to capture the style we were looking for in our wedding photos. Morning Of, Matt was fun and engaging, forcing us to smile and laugh with ease. Great to work with, super helpful with printing as well, we loved every moment of our experience and I can't thank him enough for making us look good for once! Highly recommend!

Martin Wedding

Stop searching for a photographer! Matt Sprague is your man. He took the most beautiful pictures of our wedding and celebration and family. They are Crisp, clear and the color is amazing!
Matt was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with and we received the photos very quickly.
If we ever need a photographer again, we will use him!

Would Recommend Without Hesitation

Matt and his assistant Ana Isabel were everything my husband and I were looking for: local, competitively priced, great reviews.

Thanks to their quick thinking and great ideas for photo opportunities as they arose, every moment of our wedding was captured in beautiful detail, and we get to keep that with us forever.

Highly recommend Matt! Three months after our wedding we're still looking at our photos every day.

Couldn't give a higher recommendation!

Matt went above and beyond for both our engagement and wedding photos. He was accommodating and reassuring on our wedding day when the rain delayed our outdoor plans. We are still getting complements on the photos and about how lovely Matt was from our family. A genuine terrific bloke.

Matt was the best photographer we could have ever imagined for our big wedding weekend (Aug 10th & 11th, 2018). I perused WeddingWire and other sites to identify a shortlist, then interviewed 3 photographers on the phone. Matt instantly stood out for being down to earth, easy to talk with, flexible amenable to working together to make sure I had any specific requests met, and after the wedding, WOW we have been blown away by the quality of his photography! Matt is a great guy and a great artist, and I'll always be grateful to him for capturing our wedding so perfectly!

We loved working with Matt. He made us feel incredibly comfortable and was able to get some beautiful shots. We were thrilled with both our engagement session and our wedding pictures. Matt was easy and fun and was a joy to work with. His photography is creative without being cheesy. He also seems to capture what is natural about each couple. I highly recommend him!!

Matt's work is brilliant. He captured our rehearsal and wedding day beautifully, with the perfect mix of posed and candid shots. Perhaps more importantly, he never made it feel like work, or a distraction from the real meaning of the day. On a personal level, he felt a bit more like another wedding guest, blended naturally with our friends and family and absolutely was someone we enjoyed having around -- just with the skill and talent to preserve the day in amazing photos. We cannot possibly recommend Matt more highly, simply cannot imagine a better photographer experience.

Matt was available last minute to photograph our civil ceremony at the Frederick court house. He did an amazing job representing our simple event in pictures. So happy with the entire experience. I can't recommend him more!
