Mary was so amazing to work with, always quick to respond to emails or calls, was affordable and made the BEST cakes we've ever had! She had unique flavors and the cakes were perfectly baked. Not to mention, her designs were EXACTLY what we asked for! Everyone loved the cakes!!

The BEST! Mary was so easy to work with, very affordable, and her cakes were AWESOME! My daughter picked out several flavors and they were all delicious. Mary even made gluten free german chocolate cupcakes to accomodate me, and I must admit that I ate WAY more than I should have:)

Mary a very friendly woman with some mad cake skills. I revived nothing but complements on both cakes. Our guests love the chocolate hazel nut grooms cake and they love the bride cake. I had two different layers of flavor on my cake. (Brides: grand mariner with creamy filling and strawberry cream filling of the champagne cake)

Mary matched my color that I wanted for my cake perfectly. My husband's cake looked fabulous. Mary made his cake look just like a gold Patron bottle.

She was punctuational and professional and worth the money.

WOW! Mary King was perfect for my wedding. The cost was so low compared to everyone else I talked to and her cakes tasted the BEST! She can also make very cool grooms cakes. Our cake had grass around it with white chocolate LSU golf balls. Everyone is still talking about how good the cake was!

I HIGHLY recommend Cakes by Mary for ALL of your baking needs. I found Mary a little later in the planning process but she was such a wonderful sport and dived right in and took care of ALL my needs. I had the DREAM cake i had ALWAYS wanted and at a VERY VERY reasonable price. And even after my husband and i accidentally broke her cake cutters cutting fake layers, she was still really wonderful about it. I have continued to use her for birthday and special occasion cakes. I recommend her to EVERYONE and turns out she even did our neighbors wedding cake. She is truly not only a wonderful baker, but a WONDERFUL person to know.

I cannot believe the awesome deal we got on our cakes and they turned out so beautifully. We met with Mary and she had baked us samples of the flavors she makes, plus I had told her I like carrot cake and she even baked 2 samples of that--with and without nuts! She was so friendly and laid-back. We flipped through several binders to find cakes we liked and made a decision that day. She delivered the cake and cake platter (which was included in the price as well as a serving set) and picked them up so we didn't have to worry about a thing! We received so many compliments on the cakes too. Overall, we paid about $350 for the bride's and groom's cakes.
