Hayne is amazing and great to work with. She is warm, professional and her depth of experience opens doors to opportunities that might not be available to a less experienced service. (We eloped at a Winery that does not host weddings.)

She's the whole package - officiant, photographer, very flexible and budget friendly. She offers great resource suggestions which makes planning your special day so much easier.

Her photography is exceptional and available on line within 24 hours so you can share, print, etc., while the glow of the day is still fresh.

Minister Hayne Bendick. Officiant and photographer. She is very friendly, accommodating and flexible. She put us at ease and helped make our wedding day relaxed and enjoyable. Extremely fair and affordable in her pricing. I told her what we wanted and that I was looking for someone with an "Easy Button." She had that. She provided suggestions and ideas and something almost last-minute turned in to such a beautiful day that we will never forget. The photos she took were fantastic and exceeded our expectations...and were included in her fee. While she was perfect for our small elopement (just the 2 of us,) I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in a Santa Cruz/Monterey area wedding.

She was very professional and added just the right amount of humor to it. The groom and I cried towards the end, right when she mentioned husband and wife. Everything was beautiful. Such a great price and she is a photographer too. She takes pictures on a canon, portrait lens canon and on her phone, to send right away. The pictures are unbelievable. The vows were beautiful. Everything was perfect.

Minister Hayne went above and beyond our expectations. I wanted a Christmas Eve wedding because my fiancé proposed to me 4 years ago on Christmas Eve so I contacted Minister Hayne. It was a last minute decision to have the wedding, and I only had called her a week before Christmas Eve. She was sweet, understanding, and willing to officiate our wedding even with such short notice.

Unfortunately on the weekend right before Christmas I had a major breakout of hives due to an allergic reaction to antibiotics. I contacted Minister Hayne literally the day before Christmas Eve to postpone and she was very understanding. We agreed to move the date to New Year's Eve, and everything turned out perfect!

She was very knowlegable about nearby locations to have the ceremony and even took into consideration of weather conditions of each beach and landscape areas that would look good for photos. Not to mention her photography is top notch and included with her service fee! Would highly recommend 'Marry Me in Santa Cruz' to any local couples looking for an officiant on the fly.

She was amazing!! When my photographer didn’t show up for my wedding she took the time to take pictures for us! I was not expecting her to take pictures but she did!! And she made our wedding easy and smooth! Thankful she took the time to do that for us when things weren’t going right, but nothing ever does when your planning a wedding lol. She’s amazing!!

Hayne is absolutely the best of the best. We couldn't have chosen a better person to perform our ceremony. Hayne is warm, thoughtful and fun! Her demeanor, and thoughtfulness made our day incredibly special! So very happy we found her.

Minister Hayne really went out of her way to make the ceremony personalized and on budget. She is flexible and easygoing for whatever ceremony you are looking to have. She made our day like a fairytale come true. She made us real.

Very happy with Minister Hayne, I so appreciate her communication, accommodation, and responsiveness. My husband and I are so happy to have found her and share this special day, we had a beach ceremony with immediate family.

She provided a bouquet, wedding souvenirs, excellent photo opportunities and shots throughout her time with us along with a short and sweet ceremony.

The biggest drawbacks were, I wish she would have been prepared with the wedding poem we had asked for and to stay focused throughout the ceremony as she was going through her binder a lot to fill time and find things to say. Perhaps it was lack of preparing on both of our parts but I had requested a short ceremony with the structure laid out and she seemed to struggle to find things to say. We were near the ocean and with the waves, she could have projected her voice more for the guests to hear as they commented it was a bit hard.

Is it a deal breaker? Absolutely not, this issue could easily be fixed when addressed beforehand and for her quality of service with her fee, we will be using her for vowel renewals and recommending her to future engaged couples.
