We really loved working with Marissa! We had the wedding of our dreams and couldn’t have pulled it off without her. Here are some of the things we loved about working with Marissa:

i) Time commitment: Marissa was there with us every step of the wedding planning process. She spent a lot of time with us going through every detail of planning. She was also not afraid to customize the process (which would often involve going in several different directions to figure out the best path forward) to incorporate ideas from different cultures for our fusion wedding. When initial vendor choices didn't pan out, Marissa quickly stepped in to find suitable alternatives and even hopped on phone calls to mediate and iron out any wrinkles.

ii) Knowledge: Marissa helped bring to the fore several aspects of wedding planning that we were not actively thinking about. For instance, she made sure that we locked in our hotel block and transportation to the wedding well in advance. This was really helpful because in retrospect, many of our guests enjoyed spending extended time with our friends and family at the hotel. Marissa also had great vendor recommendations. She was also very knowledgeable about vendor contracts and helped us in understanding all the details here.

Marissa also has a great eye for design. She designed the color palette for our wedding and played a crucial role in bringing together the various design elements of our wedding, including the florals, signage and rentals.

iii) Responsiveness: Marissa kept us on track. She came up with very useful timelines. She always responded promptly to our messages, and made time to hop on calls with us, sometimes even on short notice.

iv) Personality: Marissa has a warm, positive and friendly demeanor. She and her team were very cordial to our guests and made everyone feel welcome the day of our wedding. She is very professional in her communications.

v) Reliability: Planning a 100+ person wedding is a lot of work and we are so grateful that we could always lean on her. She and her assistant did a lot behind the scenes during the wedding to keep things running smoothly. Coordinating 15+ vendors is no joke and Marissa did it seamlessly leading up to and on the day of our wedding.

Marissa is AMAZING! I would give her a 20 star rating if I could. I came to her after realizing I absolutely hated the wedding planning process, but also had a vision I had begun to create. I told her I needed a "wedding planning spirit guide" and she delivered! She dove right in, didn't miss a beat and created the most magical day of my life. She got us to the big day with so much patience, and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible the day of. I am so so glad I decided to trust her with the process, and would gladly do it again.

When it comes to weddings, she knows what she's doing. She comes armed with checklists, timelines, budget trackers and a million other things you don't even realize you need and she has already handled by the time you do. She's detail oriented, organized, communicative and professional. She reaches out to vendors and handles communication, and is incredibly proactive. We were on a budget, and she was amazing at both respecting that and helping us prioritize expenses as well as get creative with where we could make the most of things.

Marissa has an amazing eye for design. She took my ideas and ran with them, making my vision come to life and then some. She has done such diverse designs for every wedding I have seen her touch on, and nails them all. She was so collaborative to make my day come to life, and I felt like she truly knew what I was looking for.

On a personal level, you feel like you are planning with your very calm, kind, positive best friend. She truly cares about her brides, and is genuinely fun to work with. We had a few curveballs with other vendors that she handled with so much grace and professionalism and doesn't bat an eye at anything thrown her way. She's a class act and is so enjoyable to have in your corner.

Overall, Marissa is the full package. She is amazing at every aspect of planning and design, and most importantly is so kind and fun to work with. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Bay Area wedding planner. She is simply THE BEST.

Marissa was absolutely delightful to work with from start to finish including everything in the middle. My husband and I had to postpone our wedding three times due to the pandemic. We couldn't have gotten through it without her. She instantly took the initiative to reach out to every single vendor and also help calm on nervous throughout the process. She was so patient, concise and very detailed from helping us pick a color scheme to all of the stunning floral and center pieces. Thank you Marissa for all of your hard work. On the day of, things could not have gone more smoothly and I was not stressed at all since we knew we were in great hands! She was especially helpful with our unexpected cold rainy day in September in Sonoma where she coordinated last minute heaters and floor plan rearrangements to help keep our guests dry and warm. She is truly the best and our day would not have been the same without. We cannot thank her enough and highly recommend her to anyone else looking for event planning!

I can't tell you how many times I looked at Marissa over our wedding weekend and said, "Wow. Thank you. YOU made this weekend a possibility."

When I hired Marissa in December of 2019, I'd done most of the sourcing of vendors, and needed help with what I called "the minutia." I didn't know how to source table runners, or chargers, or how to make my Pinterest dreams come true. Not only did Marissa do EXACTLY THAT, but she also helped us navigate through a COVID postponement. Each step of the way, Marissa was there: organized, calm, and collected. She was INCREDIBLE at creating timelines, design boards, and working with both my husband and I to make our true vision come to life. She even worked with my husband to plan a few surprises in the reception!

She can also pivot easily as circumstances change. I am a makeup artist in Sonoma County. I have worked countless weddings with her and she impresses me every time. The photos from the events she has designed are always my favorite, because of the color palettes she creates. Planning can be so overwhelming I can't imagine doing it without a planner. Omg Marissa was amazing!!! We were planning a destination wedding so that definitely makes things more challenging, but honestly I didn't even notice. Marissa was on top of everything thing. I never once felt left out or that she didn't see our vision, she knew better than we did at times haha. When we first meet her we told her we just wanted a big party. We're not very traditional and we just wanted to celebrate with our family and friends, and boy did she deliver! We had the best wedding EVER!!! I received texts the entire day following our wedding, from guests saying it was the best wedding ever! And they wanted there's to just like it.
