I feel so amazingly lucky to have the pleasure of working with Marian for our October 2023 wedding. We spent over a year together planning our Brooklyn-based event, and Marian was by our side to guide us every step of the way. I always felt like we were in great hands, and that we had a true partner that was invested in bringing our perfect wedding to life. Working with Marian is like working with a close friend – she’s kind, thoughtful, and an absolute delight to be with. She made the process seamless, stress-free, and most of all, so incredibly fun!

Marian assembled the most amazing team of vendors that fit our personality, budget, and creative vision. She managed all communication flawlessly, and we never had to worry about a thing! She always kept us organized and on track which alleviated so much stress. On the day of the wedding, it was such a relief to know that everything was being taken care of and perfectly executed.

It’s hard to put into words the impact that Marian had on our wedding and the planning process because it is so much more than the event itself. When searching for a wedding planner, I looked at portfolios and had a few phone conversations. I liked Marian from our first conversation, telling my fiancé “she’s got a good vibe”. At the time I couldn’t really articulate what that meant, but I am so glad we trusted my gut feeling. It seems hooky to say that a wedding planner is a personal relationship, but hear me out. Anyone with an overbearing mother, or other flavor of complicated family dynamic- this is for you. Weddings are funny, and tend to bring out all the crazy- they did for us, in ourselves, our families, etc. Having Marian as a trusted confidant, whom we felt comfortable sharing all those fears, preferences, etc. with was so incredibly valuable. She helped us navigate these situations with grace, while maintaining our sanity. Marian is easy to communicate with and readily available (even while giving birth and newly postpartum!!). Marian, of course, has a vast knowledge of vendors, details, budgeting and the list goes on in terms of her technical expertise and knowledge. As someone who had scattered ideas but lacked a cohesive vision and felt extremely overwhelmed by the wedding planning processes, Marian’s personable and approachable style made a daunting process feel manageable. She skillfully balanced guiding us to achieve a fantastic event (and it was fantastic, more amazing than we could have imagined!) with incorporating my admittedly wacky ideas. Initially, my now husband was unsure about hiring a planner, “do we really need this?”, he asked when I brought up the idea. The answer is yes, we did and so do you. To this day, he says to anyone and everyone who will listen that working with Marian was the best decision we made when approaching our wedding- and I couldn’t agree more! Thank you Marian for everything, we are so incredibly grateful!

Marian is simply the best in the business. Look no further!! We hired her after attempting the planning process on our own and then getting a referral through another vendor. This was the best decision we made. After our first call with Marian, our stress levels dropped. Marian has a true talent and passion for events and for the couples she works with. She listened to our vision for the wedding (which wasn't yet fully baked) and brought it to life, adding her own expertise, design eye and ideas. She learned our tastes and incorporated them into the design of the event while also providing us with different options we may not have thought of on our own. She has a true skill when it comes to design and bringing together different style elements that pull together the event.

She kept us organized and on-track the entire process. We always felt supported and knew where we were timeline wise and what our action items were. Marian was always available to be a sounding board and offer her perspective on both the small and big items, especially as we looked to make budget trade-offs.

Day-of, it was jaw-dropping seeing it all come together. The set-up was absolutely stunning and exceeded all expectations. Not only was Marian there for us, ensuring we were where we needed to be and that everyone was all good, but she orchestrated the entire event day-of and it was seamless!

Marian is an all around amazing person, not to mention super calm and even-keeled, which you need day-of as unexpected things come up and the craziness of the day takes hold. She handles everything with the utmost professionalism and level-headed demeanor.

Her assistant Sabrina was also terrific day-of, supporting us as we got ready and got to the venue and ensuring everything ran smoothly.

I truly don’t know how we would have planned our wedding without Marian! We worked with Marian for our August 2022 wedding, and cannot express how appreciative we were for all of her time, attention, and support throughout one of the craziest wedding years. I was initially drawn to Marian’s unique vibe and aesthetic, and from our first phone call through the entire process, it was like chatting and bouncing ideas with a good friend. Marian does an amazing job of coming to the table with great vendor recommendations (all of who knocked it out of the park!) and out-of-the-box ideas, all while remaining passionate about bringing your vision to life and finding solutions to work around the inevitable constraints that arise. She’s extremely organized from the get-go, setting you up with amazing tools to start your planning process, including checklists, budget templates, workback timelines, personalized moodboards, and so on. There was never any doubt leading up to our big day that the weekend would go without a hitch, and that’s exactly what transpired as Marian and her team went above and beyond in creaming our dream wedding and ensuring that we wouldn’t have to think twice about anything other than enjoying our celebration. I cannot recommend Marian enough for everything from her design expertise, on-point execution, overall attention to detail, and most of all her caring (and calming!) demeanor. It was like working with a friend throughout the entire process, and the memories are something that we’ll cherish forever.

Don’t think of Marian as a wedding planner, think of her as a maker of memories. Your wedding comes and goes so fast that you need someone you trust handling all of the details so that you can enjoy the experience. Looking back, the real gift Marian gave us was a day free of stress where we could focus on taking in the love of our friends and family and focusing on each other, not worrying about the details of a big event. That feeling was enabled by trust that Marian built with us in the lead up to the wedding. She got to know us and truly understood what was important to us. She was well-organized, incredibly responsive, and on the day of the wedding managed a huge number of details, issues and concerns simultaneously. She was extremely thoughtful and even managed hit us with a couple of surprises on the day of the wedding that made the day even more special.
