  Working with Marian was the best decision we made when approaching our wedding!

  It’s hard to put into words the impact that Marian had on our wedding and the planning process because it is so much more than the event itself. When searching for a wedding planner, I looked at portfolios and had a few phone conversations. I liked Marian from our first conversation, telling my fiancé “she’s got a good vibe”. At the time I couldn’t really articulate what that meant, but I am so glad we trusted my gut feeling. It seems hooky to say that a wedding planner is a personal relationship, but hear me out. Anyone with an overbearing mother, or other flavor of complicated family dynamic- this is for you. Weddings are funny, and tend to bring out all the crazy- they did for us, in ourselves, our families, etc. Having Marian as a trusted confidant, whom we felt comfortable sharing all those fears, preferences, etc. with was so incredibly valuable. She helped us navigate these situations with grace, while maintaining our sanity. Marian is easy to communicate with and readily available (even while giving birth and newly postpartum!!). Marian, of course, has a vast knowledge of vendors, details, budgeting and the list goes on in terms of her technical expertise and knowledge. As someone who had scattered ideas but lacked a cohesive vision and felt extremely overwhelmed by the wedding planning processes, Marian’s personable and approachable style made a daunting process feel manageable. She skillfully balanced guiding us to achieve a fantastic event (and it was fantastic, more amazing than we could have imagined!) with incorporating my admittedly wacky ideas. Initially, my now husband was unsure about hiring a planner, “do we really need this?”, he asked when I brought up the idea. The answer is yes, we did and so do you. To this day, he says to anyone and everyone who will listen that working with Marian was the best decision we made when approaching our wedding- and I couldn’t agree more! Thank you Marian for everything, we are so incredibly grateful!

  Marian and team were the best!

  Forever Grateful for Marian Frances Events!

  I feel so amazingly lucky to have the pleasure of working with Marian for our October 2023 wedding. We spent over a year together planning our Brooklyn-based event, and Marian was by our side to guide us every step of the way. I always felt like we were in great hands, and that we had a true partner that was invested in bringing our perfect wedding to life. Working with Marian is like working with a close friend – she’s kind, thoughtful, and an absolute delight to be with. She made the process seamless, stress-free, and most of all, so incredibly fun!

  Best wedding planner in the business!!!!

  Marian is simply the best in the business. Look no further!! We hired her after attempting the planning process on our own and then getting a referral through another vendor. This was the best decision we made. After our first call with Marian, our stress levels dropped. Marian has a true talent and passion for events and for the couples she works with. She listened to our vision for the wedding (which wasn't yet fully baked) and brought it to life, adding her own expertise, design eye and ideas. She learned our tastes and incorporated them into the design of the event while also providing us with different options we may not have thought of on our own. She has a true skill when it comes to design and bringing together different style elements that pull together the event.
  
  She kept us organized and on-track the entire process. We always felt supported and knew where we were timeline wise and what our action items were. Marian was always available to be a sounding board and offer her perspective on both the small and big items, especially as we looked to make budget trade-offs.
  
  Day-of, it was jaw-dropping seeing it all come together. The set-up was absolutely stunning and exceeded all expectations. Not only was Marian there for us, ensuring we were where we needed to be and that everyone was all good, but she orchestrated the entire event day-of and it was seamless!
  
  Marian is an all around amazing person, not to mention super calm and even-keeled, which you need day-of as unexpected things come up and the craziness of the day takes hold. She handles everything with the utmost professionalism and level-headed demeanor.
  
  Her assistant Sabrina was also terrific day-of, supporting us as we got ready and got to the venue and ensuring everything ran smoothly.

Your wedding comes and goes so fast that you need someone you trust handling all of the details so that you can enjoy the experience. Looking back, the real gift Marian gave us was a day free of stress where we could focus on taking in the love of our friends and family and focusing on each other, not worrying about the details of a big event. That feeling was enabled by trust that Marian built with us in the lead up to the wedding. She got to know us and truly understood what was important to us. She was well-organized, incredibly responsive, and on the day of the wedding managed a huge number of details, issues and concerns simultaneously. She was extremely thoughtful and even managed hit us with a couple of surprises on the day of the wedding that made the day even more special.   The best planner you'll find!

  We booked Marian as our planner for our wedding on 10/19/22, and she was absolute perfection the whole journey through. Everything was wonderfully organized including regular check-ins, a tailored budget outline, event and planning timelines, and every design aspect. Even my wedding guests and family had high praise for the interactions they had with her on the day of our wedding. Planning with Marian felt like I was planning with a friend that I adore which made the whole experience that much better. If you are looking for a seamless, fun planning process and event execution, book Marian immediately!!

  Amazing experience with Marian!

  Marian helped bring our dream wedding to life. From the moment we signed on to work with her, Marian was responsive, professional, fun and respectful of our vision, wishes and most importantly, budget. And while she helped us plan a stellar wedding over the course of a year, she shined most on our wedding day - she kept us and our wedding parties calm, cool and collected, maintained organization, had back up plans every time a problem arose (including the groom and multiple groomsmen losing their button studs), and was the calming presence we absolutely needed to fully enjoy the day. We have already said that we wish we could be guests at a wedding of hers to experience them from that vantage point. We would absolutely recommend Marian to any couple who wants a fun, personal, non cookie cutter wedding (whatever that means to you).

  Daughter's Wedding Day

  Marian was hired the month before our daughter's wedding to assist with monitoring our vendor contracts and coordinate the wedding day. Due to her thorough planning and producing a detailed wedding timeline, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the day. She is a miracle worker - we even had a lost vendor who surfaced a couple of hours before the ceremony thanks to Marian.

  Marian is a wedding MUST!

  I truly don’t know how we would have planned our wedding without Marian! We worked with Marian for our August 2022 wedding, and cannot express how appreciative we were for all of her time, attention, and support throughout one of the craziest wedding years. I was initially drawn to Marian’s unique vibe and aesthetic, and from our first phone call through the entire process, it was like chatting and bouncing ideas with a good friend. Marian does an amazing job of coming to the table with great vendor recommendations (all of who knocked it out of the park!) and out-of-the-box ideas, all while remaining passionate about bringing your vision to life and finding solutions to work around the inevitable constraints that arise. She’s extremely organized from the get-go, setting you up with amazing tools to start your planning process, including checklists, budget templates, workback timelines, personalized moodboards, and so on. There was never any doubt leading up to our big day that the weekend would go without a hitch, and that’s exactly what transpired as Marian and her team went above and beyond in creaming our dream wedding and ensuring that we wouldn’t have to think twice about anything other than enjoying our celebration. I cannot recommend Marian enough for everything from her design expertise, on-point execution, overall attention to detail, and most of all her caring (and calming!) demeanor. It was like working with a friend throughout the entire process, and the memories are something that we’ll cherish forever.

  I truly don’t know how we would have planned our wedding without Marian! We worked with Marian for our August 2022 wedding, and cannot express how appreciative we were for all of her time, attention, and support throughout one of the craziest wedding years. I was initially drawn to Marian’s unique vibe and aesthetic, and from our first phone call through the entire process, it was like chatting and bouncing ideas with a good friend. Marian does an amazing job of coming to the table with great vendor recommendations (all of who knocked it out of the park!) and out-of-the-box ideas, all while remaining passionate about bringing your vision to life and finding solutions to work around the inevitable constraints that arise. She’s extremely organized from the get-go, setting you up with amazing tools to start your planning process, including checklists, budget templates, workback timelines, personalized moodboards, and so on. There was never any doubt leading up to our big day that the weekend would go without a hitch, and that’s exactly what transpired as Marian and her team went above and beyond in creaming our dream wedding and ensuring that we wouldn’t have to think twice about anything other than enjoying our celebration. I cannot recommend Marian enough for everything from her design expertise, on-point execution, overall attention to detail, and most of all her caring (and calming!) demeanor. It was like working with a friend throughout the entire process, and the memories are something that we’ll cherish forever.

  Amazing! Highly recommend.

  We hired Marian as our month of coordinator for our Brooklyn wedding and it was the best decision we made! Marian is everything you want a wedding coordinator to be: meticulously organized, incredibly communicative and kind. It felt that she was genuinely invested in our day and she did everything she could to minimize stress for us both leading up to our wedding and especially day of, including coordinating closely with our vendors, reworking seating charts when we had last minute changes to the guest list, and working with our photographer to make accommodations when he came down with Covid and could no longer shoot our wedding - they had a plan in place before we even knew he was sick!
  
  We are so grateful our florist referred us to Marian (shout out to Yellow Bow Florals, another incredible vendor!) and can’t recommend Marian and her team enough!!

  best planner ever!

  Marian was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process. She was willing to help with anything we asked. The day of the wedding, she was SO calm and collected and I knew everything was in control. The day went so smoothly and I never had to think once about the logistics and details. Wish we could do the wedding all over again!!!

  Marian was our planner for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the Cooper River Room for a March wedding. We were incredibly impressed with Marian’s organizational skills and the way she was able to bring our vision to life for both of these events. We were planning in Charleston while living in Texas and were very grateful to have Marian’s expertise locally. Marian helped us narrow down vendors which was so valuable in a large market like Charleston where there is a lot of choice. She did a great job of checking-in and giving us updates leading up to the date. We appreciated that she updated us frequently enough without it feeling overwhelming. She created a beautiful mood board for us and coordinated flowers and a blue grass band that perfectly matched the space and what we were hoping for!   Marian has been the perfect wedding planner. Her connections and experience in the event industry in New York are second-to-none.   Off the bat, I felt confident in Marian's skills and talent to help me coordinate a flawless wedding. While I never had an exact vision of what my "dream" wedding would be, Marian went with our flow and encouraged us to continue planning what felt right, rather than what is typically done. She exceeded the "coordinator role" she was contracted for in every way. Throughout the planning process, she was always 100% responsive with any questions I had, including videographer and glam reccos, unique ideas, floral color palettes, flow and logistical questions. Our venue had challenges during the pandemic (didn't we all) and Marian was so on top of every detail they had missed. We were in constant communication the entire planning process, starting on the day of schedule months in advance and speaking every few days in the months leading up to the big day. There were so many moments of sheer panic I had regarding COVID-19 safety, reliability of our venue/the food, etc. and Marian was so helpful to reassure me and help me work through any challenges.
  
  I should preface that I work in PR and am no stranger to planning events. I inevitably knew some things would go wrong, but honestly, with Marian as our coordinator, the day was SO smooth. Marian led a rehearsal with our family the morning prior and was present for our wedding day from early in the morning through the late night clean up. I never once panicked on the wedding day that something wasn't taken care of. I was so relaxed knowing she had it all taken care of, and was excited to be there for us because she felt like a friend. In addition to the coordinator role, I worked with Marian on the seating chart, signature drink menu and tablescape. All of our guests have repeatedly told me how beautiful the room was decorated, with every detail wowing them. Marian really helped me bring a beautiful summer wedding vision to life with so many flowers, colorful candles and low votives.

  Marian was awesome to work with! She had very good communication and also got on the phone with me ( I was the wedding videographer) and the bride and made sure we were all on the same page before the wedding. She is super easy to get along and was such a big help on the day!
