Makeup by Alexandra is a wedding makeup company based in Levittown, New York. Founder Alexandra Giampaolo is a professional makeup artist with over a decade of experience in beauty and has specialized in wedding makeup for over eight years. She credits her skill in makeup to creating personal relationships with her clients, as it makes her better able to understand their vision.

Services Offered

Makeup by Alexandra stays up to date with the latest makeup trends and innovations, so she can meet any modern needs a client may have. A trial in advance of the wedding can allow her to practice your wedding vision, easing any apprehension you may feel on the day itself. For your convenience, she can travel to you and apply your makeup wherever you may be. Tattoo coverage is available on request. Alexandra can create natural, radiant looks or glamorous, sculpted makeup without having it look heavy or unnatural. For a base that won’t budge, airbrush makeup is available. Alexandra aims to make her clients feel confident in their appearance for their special day.

Alex was the first person I called as soon as I had my date scheduled! She is the only one I trust with my face and makes me feel natural and beautiful! Alex is easy to work with, has a great personality, is super professional and will make all of your ladies feel comfortable and glamorous! She will forever be my makeup go-to!

OH OUR DEAREST ALEXANDRA. Writing this review in bringing tears to my eyes (Thank God I dont have makeup on right now!!!). YOU ARE INCREDIBLE... UNBELIEVEABLE AND A TRUE MASTER IN YOUR CRAFT. You made me feel like the most beautiful I have ever felt in my entire life. Not only me, the bride, but all of my bridesmaids, my mother (who has never worn makeup EVER) and my 90 year old grandmother! Thank you, thank you and oh did I mention thank you. Flawless makeup!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Alex! She did my bridal makeup, 3 bridesmaids, and mother of the bride for my wedding ceremony on 12/19/2020. We started early that morning, and Alex was on time and ready to go. She did our makeup flawlessly, and our makeup lasted all day and night. Along with her amazing makeup skills, Alex is incredibly friendly and sweet! We had so much fun working with her, and she is someone you want with you when getting ready for your wedding. I can’t thank her enough!

HIGHLY recommend Alexandra!!

Couldn't have more positive things to say about Alexandra and how beautiful she made me feel on my wedding day! Not only was she incredibly flexible and understanding in postponing my big day to 2021, but she also stepped in perfectly this year and conveniently performed my trial the day of my small backyard wedding. She adapted to doing my makeup outside in JULY, wore a mask the entire time, and was so easy to talk to. I told her that I rarely (almost never) wear makeup on my face other than some light blush, and her airbrush work not only looked so natural but also felt light and I could barely tell it was on my face. Same with the individual lashes - they looked beautiful and I barely felt them. Can't recommend Alexandra enough, and I can't wait to work with her again next year for wedding #2! The best of the best.

Alexandra is professional, amazing, clean, knowledgeable and one of the nicest make up artists I’ve ever met. I was in a party for a friends wedding and every girl including the bride came out amazing. My make up lasted all day and was super light I felt like I wasn’t even wearing any. I would recommend Alexandra 12/10 times. If you are considering using her DO IT. you will not be disappointed.

Seriously, incredible!

Where do I even begin?? Alexandra is incredible! She is truly a master at her craft. Never did I expect to look as flawless, incredible and beautiful for my wedding makeup trial. I thought I was going to have to try out a hand-ful of artists but with Alexandra I knew she was the one from the first moment when I saw how sanitary, warm and professional she was. My makeup looked incredible and she understood exactly what I was looking for! I cannot wait for my big day and having Alexandra do my makeup and my girls too!!

Couldn’t imagine anyone else doing my makeup!

I love this girl! She made me look beautiful and asked how I was feeling about the makeup as she was going along. She is an expert but still listens to you if you want or don’t want something. I’m obsessed with lashes and she exceeded every expectation in the lash department. My eyes literally felt like they were the focal point of everything.
We did two trials leading up to the wedding day since I wanted to try a warm tone look and a cool tone look. I was so happy we did this because on the day of she knew exactly what to use! Also she is the sweetest , and so genuine and real.
She made all 9 of us look absolutely gorgeous and was very timely and helped our day run smoothly.

I have never felt more beautiful!

Alexandra is amazing!!! She is so professional and kind I was very lucky to have her be apart of my special day! From the day I met her I knew what a good fit she would be for myself and my bridal party! Alex really listens to your concerns and applys your makeup according to how glam or natural you want to look! The makeup lasted all night! Everyone looked and felt gorgeous! Thank you for everything you are a wonderful makeup artist and a wonderful person! Xox

Talented, professional and amazing makeup artist!

Alexandra is an amazing makeup artist. My wedding makeup was stunning and I can’t thank her enough.
She is talented, professional and more importantly personable. Alexandra makes you feel comfortable during the whole experience with her enthusiasm and positive vibes, from the makeup trial to the wedding day.
My 6 bridesmaids and the mothers were all amazed by her work that even to this day my maid of honor said her makeup on my wedding day was better than hers on her wedding day. She listens to your requests and knows how to highlight your features. She also gifts you with your lipstick of your choice for your wedding day, which was very lovely.
There were a total of 9 faces for her to complete and her calming vibe didn’t make the day feel rushed.
Alexandra is amazing and I cannot recommend her enough!

The best!

Alexandra is an extremely talented and professional makeup artist!! She did my makeup for both my bridal shower and my wedding. I can honestly say I’ve never felt more beautiful than I did on both of those days. Alexandra has an amazing personality and made me and my bridesmaids feel so comfortable. We had so much fun with her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
