Mai Floral is a San Diego based floral design studio specializing in weddings, formal events, and celebrations. Our work combines a love of flowers and design aesthetics with extraordinary attention to detail and a passion for outstanding customer service.

Meet Leah - Owner
As a teenager, Leah immigrated to the United States from Vietnam and worked for years as a professional tailor after finishing school. Leah still leverages many of those hands-on tailoring skills when designing and crafting the floral structures and arrangements that have won her so much acclaim from bridal couples and business clients. Leah's knowledge of flowers and her fascination with balance, color, pattern, scale and shape enable her to produce designs that capture and realize the individualized vision of each of her clients.

Our Style
Our design style is most often described as clean, modern, romantic, whimsical, and organic. However, the range of designs that we have created is as vast as the number of clients that we have served. The joy is in listening to our clients and creating a product that exceeds their expectations for the way in which floral design can transform an event space.


How Does The Process Work?
Step 1 - We will schedule and conduct an initial consultation over ZoomStep 2 - You will share your event vision and budget so we can provide our recommendations and discuss optionsStep 3 - We will promptly provide you with a cost itemized proposalStep 4 - We will have a follow up call or email exchange to discuss your selections and any changes you would like to makeStep 5 - You will secure your event date by signing a contract and making a 25% depositStep 6 - 1-2 months prior to your event date we will re-confirm the plan and design details and the remaining 75% payment will be madeStep 7 - THE BIG DAY - We bring all the floral ingredients to your venue and make your vision come to life

What if I don't have a floral vision to start with?
No Problem! We will provide you with a number of styles to consider and help you to create a striking floral vision at the most affordable price.
What if I want to have floral pieces at both the ceremony site and the reception site but I can't afford abundant displays in both locations?
We regularly work with our clients to repurpose flowers from the ceremony space to the reception space which saves an enormous amount of money and enables our clients to maximize the value of their budget.

What happens on the day of my event? What about clean up?
We provide full support on the day of the event, including clean up and take down of any floral work that the client decides not to take home
