Local to The Berrkshires, MA, family-owned and operated business Mahaiwe Tent specializes in wedding rentals. Established over 35 years ago, Mahaiwe Tent is dedicated to customer satisfaction, and endeavors to provide affordable, high-quality rentals that fully realize your wedding vision.

Products Offered

Nestled in the heart of the Berkshires, Mahaiwe Tent, a family operated business, is proud to be serving the tristate area, including Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York for over 40 years.

We help celebrate all kinds of special events, however we have a strong focus on weddings and love to be a part of the entire process. We specialize in tents of all sizes and styles. We carry century tents, frame tents, and sailcloth tents that can cover anywhere from 20 guests to 400 guests. Mahaiwe Tent also provides rustic farm tables & bars, seating, a large selection of fine glassware, china and flatware, custom linens, lighting, catering equipment and many more event accessories.

High quality rentals and responsive team

The Mahaiwe team is awesome! They were so great to work with from start to finish. We had a wedding at a private residence that required extensive rentals. They had everything we needed and were super responsive and attentive to all of our questions. Their rentals are high quality and their team is great. Highly recommend!

An Outstanding Team! Professionalism Embodied!

The Mahaiwe team are -- simply put -- the best. Lindsay is thoughtful, communicative, and above all responsive; and Lynn is outstanding in her supportive patience. Mahaiwe provided the rentals for my August 2023 wedding and from start to finish no detail went overlooked. Lindsay and Lynn each generously provided advice at some key deciding moments; and throughout the process they were available via email or phone to respond to any questions. Excellent selection and service -- highly recommend!

We have used Mahaiwe Tent 3 times in the past few years for rentals ranging from linens/dishes, tables/chairs, wooden farm tables, and back yard tents. Their staff is really helpful in ordering and advising. Their selection is huge! And their employees have all been excellent, ranging from the office staff to the guys setting up the enormous tents. Highly recommend!

Excellent Service and Rentals

We were really impressed with Mahaiwe Tent. They were very professional and responsive. Their set up and breakdown teams were prompt and easy to communicate with. They set up for both our wedding and rehearsal dinner during the most hectic hour for my family, the day before the wedding. It would have been easy for them to be annoyed with us, but they were so patient and kind. They initially dropped off the wrong color glasses, but fixed it immediately. I also thought that their prices were very reasonable and fair. We would absolutely recommend this company to anyone.

Exceptional team and rentals!

The Mahaiwe Tent team and their rental inventory is top notch- it’s really no wonder they’re the premier rental company in the Berkshires. Our wedding plan changed about 4 times (due to COVID) and they were flexible and helpful offering suggestions every step along the way. Lindsay and Lynn were especially awesome to deal with and took care of every detail. Side note: they saved the day with some last minute rentals for my bridal shower as well! On about 2 hour notice...

We trust this company 100% and will use definitely them in the future.

Beautiful wedding decor

During the pandemic my husband and I decided to change our 250+ October wedding to a 19 person backyard event in July. We decided this about 5 weeks before the date we chose. Mahaiwe was not only incredibly accommodating but they worked with our timeline and their products are truly rustic and beautiful. Lynn was always fast to respond and helped us make changes whenever needed. It was a great experience all in all. A plus is how affordable they are for such beautiful products!

Mother of the Bride.

It was a wonderful experience planning a small wedding under a tent in a meadow. We got everything from Mahaiwe Tents for a fair price and with excellent advice. Everything went perfectly and looked gorgeous. I wish I had another event to plan with them.

Mahaiwe was wonderful!

Book Mahaiwe! Lyn was amazing to work with! She got back to us right away after each of our inquiries. We rented a large century tent, tables, chairs, dance floor, china, glasses, linens, and more & everything was very nice and clean! Prices are better than many of the other rental places we received quotes from. We would definitely recommend Mahaiwe tents & we will use them again! Thank you Mahaiwe!

Great vendor!

Mahaiwe Tent is great! They were amazing to work with for our wedding and were so helpful. During our wedding planning process, Lynn and Lindsay answered all of our questions and provided such great advice on how to work within our budget. Everything that we rented through Mahaiwe Tent was great quality and the tent was amazing! We highly recommend Mahaiwe tent for weddings, events and beyond!
