Maggie Speaks

We had the Talk of the Town 9 piece band (2 vocalists, guitar, bass, keys, drums, 3 horns) play our wedding at the Exchange on 9/20/2025.

They were absolutely incredible, and we highly highly recommend them to anyone looking for a band for their event.

James and the team were very easy to work with. They took our song requests and genre requests (and do-not-plays) and created a perfect setlist for exactly what we wanted. They also learned a song for a mother-son dance without hesitation.

The Exchange is also a huge venue with massive ceilings, and the team at the venue said they have never had an audio setup for a live band sound so good!!

Maggie Speaks All Stars played for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding two weeks ago. From background music during the cocktail hour and dinner to the moment the band hit the stage, it was perfect. The dance floor was packed all night and the band played their hearts out. Everyone danced, all night. The wedding set the gold standard for weddings in my book, and I can truly say that Maggie Speaks All Stars played a large part in making it the most amazing and fabulous wedding I have ever been too.

Maggie Speaks is the best wedding band in the country!!!

The whole process from initial inquiry to wedding day was so smooth!

We were able to add on a stage to our contract at a later date when we saw it could fit into our budget.

Choosing songs was such a fun part of the process! Their song list is extensive - there is nothing they cannot play!

The vocalists are top notch! Each one is unique and they come together to cover every genre of music you could think of!

The band leader was able to be an MC as well - they announced everything from the speeches to special dances.

They read the room throughout the night and every musician on stage gives so much energy, so there was absolutely no lull on the dance floor! It was constantly packed as they were engaging with the guests the whole time!

Anyone who is conflicted between a DJ and a Band - the band is always worth it! It is 100% a full concert experience.

We had many people say our wedding was “the wedding of the century” and I have to give most of the credit to Maggie Speaks!

This truly set our wedding a part from several others I have attended and also stood in (15 to date!) Who wants a dj….plug in a smart phone for that. What we got…an interactive performance. Professional from beginning to end…behind the scenes and during the wedding these pros will make your night the experience of a lifetime with the love of your life! Our MC was taken care of and made the night run smooth! Then into to dancing…where the true memories were made. EVERYONE raves about the band all night! EVEN AUNT PHYLLIS DANCED! Everyone will want to dancing and have fun from 8-85 they play it all! Easy to work with, can handle and accommodate all your needs, and talent to knock the socks off of AUNT PHYLLIS. You have found it…trust me!

Spoken 4 was the band we hired for my son’s wedding in Milwaukee, WI. The wedding was at the Pilot House at Discovery World on 10/21/23. The band was outstanding! My son-in-law said that he never sat down the whole night! Many of our guests asked me who the band was because they had so much fun! The band played non-stop and played contemporary, fun music the entire night. They were even able to read the crowd and sprinkle Latin Music in.( My son-in-law is from Colombia) It truly was the party feeling we were looking for. I would recommend Spoken 4 enthusiastically!

First of all, if you are on the fence about hiring a band or DJ or trying to find the right band, please let me help you with your decision: HIRE FINAL SAY! These guys will blow you away! From the start, Robby the band leader, was the consummate professional. He was very attentive and listened intently to our concerns. We have a little bit of an older crowd and we were nervous that no one would be out on the dance floor. My adult kids were also encouraging us to get a DJ instead of hiring a live band. But we knew better. We had a few zoom calls with Robby and we relayed our concerns and he was so calm and patient and we were able to put all our trust in him.

Fast forward to the wedding night…first of all, he was an EXCELLENT emcee. He brought the energy and even had to ad lib a bit since one of our speakers was a a tad late. He announced our bridal party (our kids) with enthusiasm and announced us with the energy that we had hoped for. But the best part was the party. We had planned for the band to start right after our first dance. Our first dance song was a bit on the long side so we had informed him that it was ok to fade it and then get everyone dancing. His segue was ridiculous! He sang the chorus himself as the song faded and then immediately broke into the first dance song inciting excitement from the crowd. The crowd immediately moved to the dance floor and never left. Everyone danced the entire night. The line of the night was from my husband who said, “These guys are relentless!” So true! Every song was better than the last and they would not let up. They sang, danced and interacted with the bride and groom and kept things entertaining and playful. We STILL get comments from our friends and family about how they were the best and most fun band they have ever seen. I also wanted to add that not only did they sing a little bit of the old stuff (blues, funk etc), they mixed in the newer pop songs also and got my kids and the younger crowd hyped. The next day my kids said to me, “We were wrong Mom, you were right. The band was a way better idea than a DJ! That was one of the best nights of our lives!” I can’t say it enough, these guys were great. The only way I can repay them for giving us such a memorable performance and giving us such a meaningful night, is to spread the word. These guys work hard and they are super fun and talented. Hire them and hope that they are available on your wedding date!!!!

All I can say is wow! I knew Maggie Speaks would be good but that was incredible. I had people coming up to me all night telling me how phenomenal the band was and that dance floor was packed from start to finish. Nicole and team made it truly special.

Final Say, led by the dynamic Robby, brought an electrifying energy to our wedding day. As our contact, bandleader, MC, and singer, Robby's passion and talent shone through every moment. The crowd loved their performance, and they even learned "Come Sail Away" for our final song, making it a magical ending to an unforgettable night. Highly recommended for an incredible wedding experience!

We had Maggie Speaks at our wedding on July 1st, 2023 at the Chicago History Museum and they were absolutely incredible. They learned our first dance song just for us (Lover by Taylor Swift) and played it perfectly. They kept the dance floor lit for the entire night. They were especially good at doing 90's and 2000's punk rock. Multiple people at the end of the wedding came up to me and my wife and told us they were the best band they've ever seen at a wedding. They were worth every penny and I can't recommend them highly enough.

My husband of 50 years and I celebrated our anniversary in La Crosse, Wisconsin on June 17, 2023. We had experienced Final Say at our son's wedding 6 years before and just had to bring them to Wisconsin for our celebration. Absolutely no one had ever experienced a night quite like this. They don't just play music ... they personalize the night, they choreographed every move, they blow the roof off, and even folks that are not generally dancers just cannot resist. From young kids to us old people, there was something for everyone. They were awesome to plan and conspire with to make sure everything went off as hoped and the schedule was down to the minute. In 50 years, when we do this again, we will definitely bring Robby and Final Say back to where our love story began. Pure Gold!!!
