Maggie Speaks are cover bands for weddings in the Chicago, Illinois area. These bands cover any song from as early as the 50s to make a couple's special day uniquely special. The musicians get guests on their feet and keep them there for the remainder of the night.

The best!
The whole process from initial inquiry to wedding day was so smooth!
We were able to add on a stage to our contract at a later date when we saw it could fit into our budget.
Choosing songs was such a fun part of the process! Their song list is extensive - there is nothing they cannot play!
The vocalists are top notch! Each one is unique and they come together to cover every genre of music you could think of!
The band leader was able to be an MC as well - they announced everything from the speeches to special dances.
They read the room throughout the night and every musician on stage gives so much energy, so there was absolutely no lull on the dance floor! It was constantly packed as they were engaging with the guests the whole time!
Anyone who is conflicted between a DJ and a Band - the band is always worth it! It is 100% a full concert experience.
We had many people say our wedding was “the wedding of the century” and I have to give most of the credit to Maggie Speaks!

Becky grew up in Illinois and graduated from the University of Kansas with a Human Development and Family Life degree. Becky began her professional career as an Event Sales Manager with Levy Restaurants, where she worked with many Fortune 500 companies to plan and execute corporate and private events and banquets.
Becky furthered her career experience as Catering Sales Manager with the Bravo Restaurant Company, where she worked with large national corporate clients and destination management companies to plan numerous private, corporate, and social events. In addition, her work included planning and coordinating private dining experiences at many of Chicago’s most renowned restaurants for large tour groups around the country.
Becky joined Magnificent Events & Entertainment in 2010, working with clients in the corporate, wedding, gala, private social, country club, festival, and night club market to provide top-quality entertainment for their events. Becky’s extensive experience in a wide array of markets allows her to find the perfect fit for our client’s entertainment needs.
