Talk of the Town Big Band - Absolutely crushed it!!

We had the Talk of the Town 9 piece band (2 vocalists, guitar, bass, keys, drums, 3 horns) play our wedding at the Exchange on 9/20/2025.

They were absolutely incredible, and we highly highly recommend them to anyone looking for a band for their event.

James and the team were very easy to work with. They took our song requests and genre requests (and do-not-plays) and created a perfect setlist for exactly what we wanted. They also learned a song for a mother-son dance without hesitation.

The Exchange is also a huge venue with massive ceilings, and the team at the venue said they have never had an audio setup for a live band sound so good!!

Absolutely Fabulous!!

Maggie Speaks All Stars played for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding two weeks ago. From background music during the cocktail hour and dinner to the moment the band hit the stage, it was perfect. The dance floor was packed all night and the band played their hearts out. Everyone danced, all night. The wedding set the gold standard for weddings in my book, and I can truly say that Maggie Speaks All Stars played a large part in making it the most amazing and fabulous wedding I have ever been too.
Big thank you to this amazing group of talented entertainers. Wow!!

The best!

Maggie Speaks is the best wedding band in the country!!!

The whole process from initial inquiry to wedding day was so smooth!

We were able to add on a stage to our contract at a later date when we saw it could fit into our budget.

Choosing songs was such a fun part of the process! Their song list is extensive - there is nothing they cannot play!

The vocalists are top notch! Each one is unique and they come together to cover every genre of music you could think of!

The band leader was able to be an MC as well - they announced everything from the speeches to special dances.

They read the room throughout the night and every musician on stage gives so much energy, so there was absolutely no lull on the dance floor! It was constantly packed as they were engaging with the guests the whole time!

Anyone who is conflicted between a DJ and a Band - the band is always worth it! It is 100% a full concert experience.

We had many people say our wedding was “the wedding of the century” and I have to give most of the credit to Maggie Speaks!

Amazing! Your event will be transformed!

This truly set our wedding a part from several others I have attended and also stood in (15 to date!) Who wants a dj….plug in a smart phone for that. What we got…an interactive performance. Professional from beginning to end…behind the scenes and during the wedding these pros will make your night the experience of a lifetime with the love of your life! Our MC was taken care of and made the night run smooth! Then into to dancing…where the true memories were made. EVERYONE raves about the band all night! EVEN AUNT PHYLLIS DANCED! Everyone will want to dancing and have fun from 8-85 they play it all! Easy to work with, can handle and accommodate all your needs, and talent to knock the socks off of AUNT PHYLLIS. You have found it…trust me!

Wedding Band

Spoken 4 was the band we hired for my son’s wedding in Milwaukee, WI. The wedding was at the Pilot House at Discovery World on 10/21/23. The band was outstanding! My son-in-law said that he never sat down the whole night! Many of our guests asked me who the band was because they had so much fun! The band played non-stop and played contemporary, fun music the entire night. They were even able to read the crowd and sprinkle Latin Music in.( My son-in-law is from Colombia) It truly was the party feeling we were looking for. I would recommend Spoken 4 enthusiastically!

Final Say-Great Band!

First of all, if you are on the fence about hiring a band or DJ or trying to find the right band, please let me help you with your decision: HIRE FINAL SAY! These guys will blow you away! From the start, Robby the band leader, was the consummate professional. He was very attentive and listened intently to our concerns. We have a little bit of an older crowd and we were nervous that no one would be out on the dance floor. My adult kids were also encouraging us to get a DJ instead of hiring a live band. But we knew better. We had a few zoom calls with Robby and we relayed our concerns and he was so calm and patient and we were able to put all our trust in him.

Fast forward to the wedding night…first of all, he was an EXCELLENT emcee. He brought the energy and even had to ad lib a bit since one of our speakers was a a tad late. He announced our bridal party (our kids) with enthusiasm and announced us with the energy that we had hoped for. But the best part was the party. We had planned for the band to start right after our first dance. Our first dance song was a bit on the long side so we had informed him that it was ok to fade it and then get everyone dancing. His segue was ridiculous! He sang the chorus himself as the song faded and then immediately broke into the first dance song inciting excitement from the crowd. The crowd immediately moved to the dance floor and never left. Everyone danced the entire night. The line of the night was from my husband who said, “These guys are relentless!” So true! Every song was better than the last and they would not let up. They sang, danced and interacted with the bride and groom and kept things entertaining and playful. We STILL get comments from our friends and family about how they were the best and most fun band they have ever seen. I also wanted to add that not only did they sing a little bit of the old stuff (blues, funk etc), they mixed in the newer pop songs also and got my kids and the younger crowd hyped. The next day my kids said to me, “We were wrong Mom, you were right. The band was a way better idea than a DJ! That was one of the best nights of our lives!” I can’t say it enough, these guys were great. The only way I can repay them for giving us such a memorable performance and giving us such a meaningful night, is to spread the word. These guys work hard and they are super fun and talented. Hire them and hope that they are available on your wedding date!!!!

Amazing Experience

We had Maggie Speaks at our wedding on July 1st, 2023 at the Chicago History Museum and they were absolutely incredible. They learned our first dance song just for us (Lover by Taylor Swift) and played it perfectly. They kept the dance floor lit for the entire night. They were especially good at doing 90's and 2000's punk rock. Multiple people at the end of the wedding came up to me and my wife and told us they were the best band they've ever seen at a wedding. They were worth every penny and I can't recommend them highly enough.

50th Anniversary Celebration with Final Say

My husband of 50 years and I celebrated our anniversary in La Crosse, Wisconsin on June 17, 2023. We had experienced Final Say at our son's wedding 6 years before and just had to bring them to Wisconsin for our celebration. Absolutely no one had ever experienced a night quite like this. They don't just play music ... they personalize the night, they choreographed every move, they blow the roof off, and even folks that are not generally dancers just cannot resist. From young kids to us old people, there was something for everyone. They were awesome to plan and conspire with to make sure everything went off as hoped and the schedule was down to the minute. In 50 years, when we do this again, we will definitely bring Robby and Final Say back to where our love story began. Pure Gold!!!

Final Say was the best party ever!!

Finding a wedding band can be so stressful because that is the entire party! If you are unsure who to book, STOP RIGHT NOW and book Final Say.

While the wedding day can be a blur, I remember having the best time ever on the dance floor. The band was so engaging and fun to dance with- along with being just PURE talent.

Robby is super helpful leading up to the wedding to great a vibe for what you want on your big day. This allows the band to really play to your guests to make sure they all have the best time. He was also an amazing MC and ensured the speeches, entrance, ext when very smoothly.

I cannot say enough great things about this band, and neither can my guests who cannot stop raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor.

The only band you should hire!!

Can't say enough good things about Dave and Magnificent Events!!! He and the band played our wedding recently; they not only got what we wanted exactly right, but blew our minds with their musicianship and versatility!! To boot, they took care of all logistics, equipment rental, transportation, lodging, etc., which was a huge help.Our friends can't stop talking about how great they were (this includes music professionals) and what an amazing party it was because of them. Also, some of the nicest people who were so lovely to be around. Run, don't walk!!

The BEST wedding band in Chicago

I had wanted Final Say to play at our wedding for YEARS, ever since my now husband and I started dating. When I reached out to the band leader Robby with our proposed date, he immediately got the ball rolling. He and the entire team (including management) are so friendly and easy to work with, but they are also consummate professionals. Robby was easy to get in touch with anytime with any questions or concerns that I had leading up to the big day. You have input as to what you would like the band to play off of their set list, but they will also read the crowd and adjust the set as needed during your event.

Now in terms of the band itself, all I can say is THANK YOU. Having live music was so important to us as my husband and I are musicians, and we could not have asked for a better wedding band to help us celebrate. The dance floor wasn't empty for one second and my only regret is that the venue wasn't open longer so that they could have played all night long! All of our guests commented on how amazing Final Say was and that our wedding was one of the best parties they've ever attended. They have the best, most positive energy, and they are all such talented musicians. I would recommend Final Say for your wedding or any special event. Thank you again to Robby and to the whole band!

Extremely talented wedding band!

We hired Spoken Four as our band for our August 2021 wedding at Cafe Brauer and they were truly incredible! Our guests still rave about how talented they were, and we were so happy that the dance floor was packed the whole night. In advance, they send a huge song list that you can mark as must-play, do-not-play, etc. and we were even able to request the first song and last song of the night. My only qualm is that they faded in the recorded music for our first dance, which was a problem since we had very specific choreography, but thankfully we made it work :) So I guess make sure to specify if you don’t want fading in! We also used Magnificent Events to hire the pianist for our ceremony, and he did an excellent job as well. Huge thanks to Michael (the band leader) and his crew for bringing such great energy to our night!

Talk of The Town Big Band- Wonderful!

There are not enough adjectives to describe how wonderful the band, show and lead singer Robby were. It exceeded my wildest imagination. The thing that especially jumped out to me is they knew exactly the right song to play and when to play it. Was the crowd feeling Backstreet Boys? Did it want Motown? How about a mash-up? It kept the energy thrumming the entire night.

And the crowd responded accordingly. The dance floor was never empty. In fact, I've never been to an event where there almost isn't enough room for all the people who want to dance.

Their bandleader Robby was the man at the middle of it all with slick dance moves and an effervescent spirit. He was easy, accessible and really made me trust him from our very first phone call.

Amazing Band!

When I saw the band perform at a friend's wedding, I knew they were special. We had Maggie Speaks (Enough Said band) perform at our wedding on 8/14/21 in Lake Forest and they knocked it out of the park! I've had multiple guests tell me how great they were. They send through an extensive list of songs for you to choose lists of must haves, nice to haves, and do not plays. They play all different types of music and know how to get the dance floor going. They also have incredible mashups. I would whole-heartedly recommend this band to everyone!

A Fantastic Experience with Maggie Speaks!

We recently had the pleasure of having Maggie Speaks 13 piece ensemble for my daughters wedding reception. We couldn't have made a better selection! From the planning, to set-up to a fantastic evening of music, they were professional and wonderful to work with. I can't remember an event that had a dance floor that was as crowded from start to finish, as ours was. Enough said - incredible!

We had Enough Said with talk of the town (10 piece band) at our wedding and I am not even sure where to begin with explaining how incredible they were. We have been to A LOT of weddings over the past few years, but I have never experienced this packed of a dance floor the entire night than at our wedding. They read the audience so well and played songs that kept everyone (of all ages and generations) dancing and jumping all night. We have had SO many of guests come up to us since our wedding telling us how they were the greatest band they have ever heard at an event. We are so grateful to Enough Said and will forever recommend them to anyone looking for a band for any event!

One of the Best Decisions We've Ever Made!!!

We hired Spoken Four and added a brass section to make an 8-piece Talk of the Town Big Band for our wedding. To say we were thrilled with their performance on our big day would be an understatement. We were extremely impressed with one of the band members, Domingo, who was our main point of contact. Domingo was always incredibly professional and easy to work with throughout the planning process. He is also a fantastic MC and did a great job introducing the wedding party and announcing all of the speeches/special dances. He and his band members blew all of our guests away with their talent, and the dance floor was packed the entire night! We especially loved how some of the band members would even dance on the floor with our guests for some songs. We could not have chosen a better band to help us celebrate our wedding and guests are still telling us how awesome the band was. It was easily one of the best decisions we've made, and we can't thank them enough for making our wedding day that much more fun and memorable.

Spoken four - you guys are amazing!

WOW!! This review is for *SPOKEN FOUR*. This group of musicians is absolutely AMAZING! Domingo and the team are incredibly talented, and really know what they are doing. We saw Spoken Four at a friend's wedding last year, and from that moment we knew we had to have them perform at our wedding. They have SO much energy, the songs they play are hit after hit for every age group, and truly NOBODY leaves the dance floor! The dance floor was absolutely packed, and I just could not believe how much fun it was! Our dinner ran long so our timeline was a bit delayed, and Domingo made the call to play straight through so we didn't miss out on time with the band - THAT IS UNHEARD OF and the customer experience unparalleled! Beyond the music, Domingo and the team are a dream to work with. Domingo held several calls with us leading up to the big day, and he took the time to go through every single detail with us. He walked us through the night, made proper recommendations when we needed them, and was so professional yet made us feel like friends. He took care of everything, created playlists when we needed them during dinner, MC'd the speeches and the entire dinner, and just killed in. We trusted him completely and he delivered! We cannot say enough good things about this group - they are a treasure! 10 out of 10 for SPOKEN FOUR! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Best Wedding Ever

We had Maggie Speaks with the addition of the horn section and the hip hop singer, they were fantastic! They had everyone out on the floor dancing from the first song and their energy never diminished. I would highly recommend them!

Maggie Speaks is absolutely AMAZING!

We had Maggie Speaks perform at our August 2019 wedding in Chicago! They made our day even more amazing than it already was and we cannot thank them enough! From the beginning, they were extremely easy to work with and very flexible when it came to any requests we had. We simply wrote up a timeline and listed our song requests and they followed everything seamlessly. Our guests were up on the dance floor as soon as they started playing! No one wanted to leave the dance floor as they played hit after hit. They are a band for all ages and have plenty of oldies, in addition to today's hits! We have had so many guests compliment our band and say how much fun they had! I would not hesitate to book Maggie Speaks if you want a lively night of dancing and singing the night away!

Maggie Speaks Wedding

Maggie Speaks was outstanding. We still have friends who ask us about them or tell us how good they were for our wedding. We literally had people sprinting to and from the bathroom because they didn’t want to miss anything. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. Maggie Speaks (plus the hype package) was well worth the money and made our wedding very memorable.

Best Wedding Band!

We had Enough Said with Talk of the Town Big Band (15 piece)
These guys are awesome. They kept the dance floor packed until midnight. Several people who claimed they knew the "best wedding band" now have a new favorite. They let me join in on my guitar for a song, and it was awesome. Everybody raved how awesome they were.

Packed Dance Floor!

Maggie Speaks kept the dance floor at our wedding packed all night and were very easy to work with! They were able to transition between two live songs for our surprise father/daughter dance and were very professional in their emceeing throughout the night. A performance we will remember forever

It is not often in life that you have your expectations truly and stunningly exceeded, but that is how I would describe working with Spoken Four for our wedding. I had always known that I wanted a band for our wedding, but it wasn’t until that evening that I realized what a good band can bring to your wedding day.

From the very beginning, working with Domingo, the band leader from Spoken Four, was a great experience. He had a lot of helpful advice about how to make the most of his services and graciously accommodated our requests. He worked hard to make sure he had all the information he needed not only to perform with the band but also serve as our MC.

I cannot understate how good the music was. The band has incredible energy and are massively talented. The dance floor was full all night. My friends told me it was the best wedding band they had ever seen. So did my dad’s friends. And my wife’s aunts. And my friend’s children. Everyone loved it, and people are still talking about it.

Most of all, Spoken Four did something I did not expect. I’ve been to a lot of weddings and seen all kinds of wedding music. A good DJ will get people dancing. A good band will get more people dancing and keep them on the floor. But at my wedding, I saw something I have not seen many times before; everyone was dancing together. By the end of the night, barriers between families and friends had melted away, and everyone was celebrating with one another. Maybe that just means my wife and I have great families and cool friends, but I think it was more than that. I think the music had people feeling so darn happy that they just couldn’t help singing along with a total stranger.

Spoken Four was excellent, and we would absolutely hire them again.

Highlight of the Reception!

Hiring Maggie Speaks for our wedding reception was the best decision we made! They kept our friends and family on the dance floor all night long. We had an East Coast Style wedding with short dance sets between dinner courses. We were a little nervous about how our guests would react to this non-traditional flow, but thanks to Maggie Speaks it was a hit! They read the crowd and knew exactly what to play to get everyone out of their seats (even our grandparents :) ) My husband surprised our guests by playing a song on guitar with the band. Maggie Speaks was so flexible and accommodating with this special request. They truly helped make our wedding the best day ever! Thank you for everything!

The Perfect Soundtrack to Our Big Day!

We cannot say enough about how much we loved working with Maggie Speaks! They wedding would not have been nearly as special or memorable without their music - they provided different arrangements to fit the different moods of the event (from lighter mood music during cocktails to classic and elegant at the reception to throwing an epic dance party for the later hours). Dave provided unparalleled direction and customization with our playlist, ensuring we heard the songs special to us and our family and was sure to avoid any songs or artists we didn't want to hear. They coordinated with our other vendors and kept the night on schedule through so many moving parts. More than one guest in attendance said they wanted to throw parties in the near future, simply to have an excuse to work with Maggie Speaks. And every musician we spoke with was incredibly gracious and kind, we enjoyed just having them in attendance as people, let alone the fantastic musicianship. There are no words to adequately sum up the amazing performances of Maggie Speaks and David Calzaretta during the entire weekend of my daughter’s May wedding ! From the rehearsal dinner, to the evening of the wedding and on to the brunch the morning after the wedding, Dave and his band provided a custom mix of truly powerful, non stop music - no performance was the same, all unique and equally spectacular. The rehearsal dinner gave a glimpse into what was to come at the wedding itself- the dance floor at the Drake was packed all night. The brunch music was perfect - a lovely acoustic performance that was just what we all needed. Enough Said. Hire them. They are fantastic! Definitely the wild card worry for our wedding day (because we had never heard them play before), but the hands-down greatest surprise. Did I say? They are FANTASTIC! The dance floor was full all night long. Their breaks were so few and so short I didn't even notice that they took any; and we received many, many comments on how great they are. They definitely set the tone for an incredible wedding atmosphere. And bonus: James is so easy to work with and incredibly responsive. Our wedding worry turned into wedding wonder! Enough Said!

Unbelievable.

Enough Said was organized, professional and responsive. They were extremely easy to work with and most of all, provided us with a lot of comfort that they knew what they were doing.

On the night of the weddding, their performance was unbelievable. Every single guest was dancing - the floor was packed all night! We had multiple people tell us the band was the best they had ever heard. They were energetic, incredible singers and musicians and kept the crowd engaged all night.

I would HIGHLY recommend Enough Said. We were thrilled with their performance. They made our entire wedding!

Best Night of Our Lives

Maggie Speaks made our wedding the best night of our lives. I was on "team DJ" all through planning our wedding, but I said that if we could find a band that could do justice to my favorite female popstars, that we could hire them. Maggie Speaks knocked it out of the park. Everyone we've talked to after our wedding has said that Maggie Speaks was the best wedding band they've ever seen. We had around 180 guests attend our wedding at the Adler Planetarium, and I swear everyone was up dancing the entire night. The band even learned two of my favorite songs that weren't already on their set list. This is the easiest review I'll write. Thank you, Maggie Speaks!

Final Say ROCKS!!!

We are so glad we chose Final Say for our wedding. Robby and the band did a fantastic job and were a joy to work with throughout, from the pre-wedding planning through the entire wedding weekend experience. They even learned an off-setlist song that we requested and let me (the groom) play drums with the band on that song, AND they provided backup percussion for a rap that the bride's father did as his wedding speech. Robby was an excellent MC; super flexible, tuned into the mood of the crowd, and accommodating of all our requests. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, their performance was AMAZING - high energy, fun, and a blast to dance to. We got rave reviews from all our wedding guests and everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. If you're considering other bands, stop, and go with Final Say or another Mag Events group. You won't be sorry. :)

Danced All Night At Our Own Wedding

Maggie Speaks played at our wedding (Notre Dame, IN). Coordinating with them was easy and seamless. I am an engineer and asked many questions, and not once were they annoyed. They catered to our personal requests for our first dance and calmed any lingering fears I had before the wedding. They have done this many times before, and that shows. They were fun to work with! Not only are they amazing musicians, but they bring a lot of energy to their music and clearly love what they do. They are skilled at keeping everyone on their feet (all ages). We wanted a band that could connect with all ages, and they delivered! We danced the whole night and our guests did too! They are everything they say they are and more!

We couldn't have had a better band than, Maggie Speaks! We had the full 15 piece band (Maggie Speaks w/ the Talk of the Town)! AMAZING!!!!
The dance floor was packed the entire night. They were professional and so fun!!! All of our family and friends kept asking us where we found them. We were so fortunate to have them!!! Everyone was talking about our reception for weeks! They made our night so memorable.
We worked with Shawn, corresponding through emails, choosing our 'must have' songs and our, 'please don't play these' songs. It was a pleasure working with him!

Best band ever

Unbelievable. There are no words to describe how perfect Enough Said was for our wedding night this past December. Working with James was a breeze, as he responded quickly to my e-mails, took my recommendations for playing songs we wanted to hear, and even let mine and my husbands dad come on stage for a special performance of "Soul Man." Seriously, we still have people texting and calling us saying it was the best wedding band they have ever seen. Hiring Enough Said was the best choice we made for our wedding, hands down. Maggie Speaks - University Club of Chicago Wedding 10/13

Maggie Speaks came and performed at our wedding on October 13th at the University Club in Chicago and it's all anyone has talked about since that night! They played a wide variety of songs and had the dance floor PACKED from start to finish. We've been to a ton of weddings and usually the dance floor clears out because people can lose interest after a while, but this literally never happened even once at our wedding. Dave, Nicole, Antar, Shawn and the rest of the band absolutely killed it. They played something for just about everyone and catered their set completely for us. Whether it was the older people who wanted to hear classics or the younger crowd that wanted to hear rap and current pop songs, they played it all and I can honestly say that we still have people telling us about how amazing of a time they had.

Despite the band being on the road and performing shows constantly every week, they still made time for us to not only hear out all of our questions and concerns via phone/email, but they were incredibly responsive as well. That made us feel very good and solidified our choice to go with them. Shawn took the time to work with us and made us feel incredibly comfortable about any potential issues or questions that would come up at any given moment. I think when you're planning a wedding it's important to not only hire talented vendors that put great work together, but also to hire vendors that have a professional work ethic and work with you every step of the way. We definitely feel that we had that.

For these two reasons I strongly recommend going with Maggie Speaks for your wedding. Not only will they keep you dancing the ENTIRE night, but they are so nice and wonderful to work with. When I think back on our special night I can't help but smile thinking about all of our friends and family on the same dance floor having the time of their lives. We definitely have them to thank for that!

FInal Say- Phenomenal Performance- Dance Floor Packed All Night

Final Say performed at my wedding- we had the 10 piece band. They were absolutely phenomenal!!!! I have been to a number of weddings with bands who had good voices, but their energy wasn’t there.
I wanted a band with outstanding vocals and high high energy. This is Final Say. The lead singers, Robby and Morgen, are beyond amazing. Their vocals, dance moves and energy in unmatchable. My dance floor was packed all night and they really know how to read the audience. This
Was a Jewish wedding and they did a phenomenal Hora. Guests said it was the best hora they have experienced. I asked for three singers and I was nervous that the third singer may not match Morgen and Robby’s energy and vocals and boy I was wrong! She was absolutely phenomenal and fit right in. After the wedding I received emails and texts with guests saying how wonderful the band was, and requesting their information. Additionally, it was wonderful to work the Robby before the wedding. My mother and I had many questions and requests, and he was patient, helpful and brought up great ideas we never considered. He took the time to take multiple calls with us to ensure we were happy. We just got married last night - I loved Spoken Four so much (and I've gotten so many compliments from guests about them) that I wanted to write this review ASAP.

Working with Spoken Four before the wedding was a breeze. Domingo is so quick to respond to emails, answers questions, clarifies concerns, it's very stress-free (which is exactly what you want for a wedding vendor). He was fantastic about special requests for dinner music and breaks between sets, both pre-planned and last minute additions.

On the day-of, things went so smoothly from cocktail hour to the last song. When the band was playing, the dance floor was absolutely packed. Aside from the obvious phenomenal talent of the band, my guests loved how interactive the band members were with everyone on the dance floor. It made the whole night feel more personal and intimate. I can't recommend Spoken Four enough, they added an element to our wedding that was leagues above your average wedding band.

Final Say performed at our wedding on June 29, 2018 and they were ON FIRE!!!! So many guests remarked that they were the best wedding band they had ever seen, and we agreed! There were people on the dance floor literally all night. Their music unites generations, and they know how to keep things saucy without making anyone uncomfortable. Enough Said performed at my wedding on 7/20 and it was everything we were hoping for and more! Our goal from the beginning was to have a packed dance floor and that's exactly what happened. Absolutely the best part of our wedding night was the band!

Everything from the very first contact all the way through the performance was professional and impressive! We are STILL getting compliments on how great the band was. Final Say was the absolute right choice for our wedding. We went to see a good handful of bands, even dropping in on some weddings, and left them feeling disappointed. With Final Say, we saw immediately how their vocals, energy, and overall musical talent got everyone up and dancing. We wanted a great party for our wedding and they delivered. After the wedding it seemed everyone would not stop talking about how great of a job the band did, and that it was the best wedding they had been to. Robby was the point of contact for getting everything organized for the day of the wedding and the MC. Final Say had our wedding reception dancing the night away with their dynamic vocals and excellent sounds. The bride and groom gave them a play list of desired music, and they played every song so well that the dance floor never cleared all night. From the assistance with the sound for the ceremony, through the MC for the early events in the reception, to the fabulous music, Final Say did it all very successfully! It was a thrill to have this live band of professional entertainers as a part of the wedding!

We worked with Spoken Four, one of the groups within Maggie Speaks for our wedding this past April. They truly exceeded our expectations! Domingo worked with me before the wedding to come up with our music preferences, schedule for the evening, and announcements. The group was so talented, and kept people on the dance floor the entire night! They had fun with the crowd, and made sure there was good variety of music for all ages. We got many compliments from our friends and family about how great they were. I would highly recommend them and plan to go see another one of their shows in the future!

We had Maggie Speaks to our June outdoor tented wedding in La Crosse, WI. They were excellent to work with from our requests to our venue. They put on an amazing show that had everyone on the dance floor all night including the bride on stage for Wisconsin's favorite Jump Around and her best friend's daughter belting out Shake it Off for an impromptu performance and a memory she'll never forget! We would highly recommend the group for any event or wedding. We added horns (the family loves the band Chicago and you can't have a good Chicago rendition without horns!) The grooms family had such a good time his brother is using another one of the Maggie Speak's family of bands for his wedding in June 2018!

We cannot recommend Enough Said / Spoken Four highly enough! Not only did they do such a fantastic job performing at our wedding, but they were so easy to work with. Leading up to the wedding, we worked with Tyson and Domingo (from Spoken Four, who also played at our wedding reception) and both were incredibly accommodating and helpful through every step of the planning process. Both my wife and I used the band to surprise each other the night of our wedding, and Tyson was very helpful by not spilling the beans to either one of us! My wife had ordered a 3-piece horn section (which sounded PHENOMENAL) and I had planned a modified version of a song. Tyson was open to any suggestions and eager to collaborate on any suggestions. The band was truly one of the highlights of our wedding and I cannot sing their praises enough. They brought a lot of energy which kept the party going late into the night. Thanks again Enough Said, you were all fantastic!

I honestly can't rave enough about my experience with Dave, Becky- everyone at Mag Events ESPECIALLY Enough Said- the band we (thankfully!) hired for our wedding. From the very first phone call- I felt totally understood. Completely at ease. Guided by professionals. They were asking all of these incredible questions and giving their expert opinions while taking into account all the details we had mentioned- it felt like a uniquely personalized experienced that left me feeling totally confident that our wedding night music was going to be memorable. IT. WAS. EPIC. I still have people calling me to ask who the band was. If i can send them a set list so they can play those same songs in that same order. I don't even know how they managed to get every single person dancing from start to finish- but one of the most profound moments I had all night was looking around on that dance floor at the confetti of people I love having the time of their lives together. It was pure magic and hiring Enough Said really made our wedding night! Not only that, but it was a seamless experience led by total pros. I was beyond impressed and we will be forever endlessly grateful to the experiences they all helped us create. Treasured memories with our nearest and dearest!

Maggie Speaks performed at our wedding and it was perfect. I really honestly mean perfect. Having them took our wedding to a whole new level and got everyone on the dance floor! We continue to get compliments to this day. I would suggest them to anyone and everyone!

Final Say is the best band I’ve ever seen. We couldn’t have found a better group for our wedding. Our crowd couldn’t get enough! Your wedding band will make or break the night so don’t take any chances. Book Final Say as soon as you can. Even though I knew we were in for a good time, I had no idea how truly awesome this band would make our evening. Their bandleader was so easy to work with. We had a few special requests for the evening and he was very helpful and kind. Final Say is exactly what you want for your wedding. They’re fun, professional, accommodating and phenomenal when they hit that stage!

Final Say is my number one recommendation for any and all weddings and events. If I could give them 6 out of 5 stars I would! We looked at other popular bands for our wedding, but the one thing that stood out was Final Say’s live performance. You are not going to find a better live show. Our guests were exhausted by the end of the night because they never left the dance floor! This band is so amazing to watch and so much fun. We all had a fantastic time. Their bandleader Robby was a dream to work with. I sent him so many emails with so much last minute information and he handled it all in stride. We were so nervous going into the reception and his professionalism and preparation put us at ease. From the early MC work to handling speeches and music, he was on top of every aspect of the evening. I can’t say enough about how special Final Say made our night. This is the only band you need to call for your wedding. Nobody does it better.

Maggie Speaks is by far the best live band that I have ever had the opportunity to hear. I saw them by chance at a Casino in the Chicago area about four years ago and knew I HAD to book them sometime in the near future!! In 2015 my sister and I celebrated a 40/50 birthday party. Maggie Speaks played and nobody wanted the night to end. It was amazing!!
I recently got married August 12, 2017. I knew we had to have them at our special occasion. All of our friends and family were ecstatic to hear that Maggie Speaks would be playing again. We actually booked the wedding around the dates that they were available...no one else would be able to match their quality and enthusiasm! They were awesome on their own for the birthday party, but we added the five additional musicians for the wedding and all I can say is....WOW! The sound could not have been more spot on. So many guests thought the DJ was playing at certain times because they were soooo GOOD!!!
We were able to pick our own playlist and have a specific theme for music for the whole night. You don't get that from just anyone. They were willing to learn new songs if needed, they stuck to the list we gave them and they were so easy to work with prior to the event and during the event. They welcomed suggestions throughout the evening when certain guests wanted to hear a song that was not on the itinerary. There are not many weddings where all your guests stay until the band is done. The floor was filled and jumping until the band ended. It was an event that people will be talking about for many years....and Maggie Speaks was a huge part of making the night magical!! I would recommend them to anyone. If you have the extra money in your budget....put it towards the music!! You will NOT be disappointed!!
I hope to be able to book them for several events in the years to come!! WE LOVE MAGGIE SPEAKS!!!!

I couldn't recommend Maggie Speaks more. The energy they brought the reception set the tone for the entire night. Their versatility and talent were on display all evening and more than a half dozen times I was told, "Who is this band? They rock!" Great job by all.

We literally could not have asked for a better band for our wedding! We kept hearing the name Maggie Speaks and decided to check them out at a open performance at a venue in Chicago. Needless to say, we were BLOWN away. Not only was the music relevant and fun, but the arrangements were really interesting while keeping true to the overall feel of the songs. The vocals were incredible and the musicianship was also top notch. Once hearing them in person, there was no other choice for us. We booked Maggie Speaks for our December wedding as the Talk of the Town. From the moment we reached out to their amazing team to the follow up after the wedding -- the experience was perfect. We even had several family members get involved in memorable moments (processional music and our first dance) and they were incredibly accommodating and welcoming to the special people we wanted to include. They were humble in performing my cousin's composition of our first dance song and gracious in helping execute the most AMAZING surprise for us by having my grandfather sing the final verse of our first dance song. They completely customized our experience with the perfect musicians and the perfect arrangements throughout the night. Whatever we wanted (strings during the ceremony, music piped in over speakers for cocktail hour, classic jazz/romantic tunes for the dinner, and big band for the dancing), they made it happen seamlessly. It was honestly perfect.

And when I say that every single guest was dancing the ENTIRE night, I mean it. The band was able to read the crowd and deliver EXACTLY what everyone wanted. The music was upbeat, exciting, perfectly mixed for the space and was the best quality. No one wanted to stop dancing -- and to this day, people say that they cannot get over how AMAZING our band was. I would recommend them over and over again to anyone! It doesn't get any better than Maggie Speaks - truly!

I cannot recommend Maggie Speaks highly enough to anyone looking for wedding performers. They made our wedding UNFORGETTABLE. Since they started playing til the end of the night, Maggie Speaks had people on the dance floor - and not just the young people or the bridal party. EVERYONE of all ages was dancing, including aged parents! The band really knew how and when to play songs to keep the energy going and to keep people dancing. I cannot emphasize enough how much fun Maggie Speaks made our dance floor. They directed people's energy the whole time.
I was initially thinking of going with a dj, because I wanted top 40 music to be played, but I decided on Maggie Speaks because I listened to their youtube videos, and it's clear they can perform hits. They played all my requested songs and they sounded great, and added into it they gave the party a ton of energy and fun. Throughout the wedding and for days afterwards the most common comment I received from guests was that we had an incredible band, that it was the best band at a wedding they'd heard. My brother in law is in a band himself, and he said that he was really impressed by Maggie Speaks. He said they put a ton of effort into performing and making sure the guests had a good time, and didn't try to draw attention to themselves, which is what apparently some bands will do at weddings. He also said that they switched singers flawlessly.
Go with this band for your wedding, trust me it will be the most worthwhile wedding expense! :)

As Father-of-the-bride, writing a review of the band we hired to play at my Daughter's wedding was not something I thought I would be doing the Monday after the big event. However, Spoken Four was so INCREDIBLE that I felt the need to do it! What an incredible performance by the band! From the first song to the last, the dance floor was packed and rocking! Maggie Speaks played at our wedding in June and they were absolutely amazing! Everyone was so wonderful to work with and made the process so easy! Spoken Four played at our daughter's wedding only 2 days ago and I felt compelled to let others know just how amazing this band is! So manyof our guests commented about how great they were, even asking where we found them.

We actually heard one of their "sister" bands 2 years ago at a summer park district concert, along with our daughter and her boyfriend at the time, and took a business card home to keep for the future. Six months later, when they got engaged we knew we wanted to book one of these bands. We chose Spoken Four, and signed a contract over a year ago to make sure we'd have them at the wedding.

Domingo was a delight to work with, and made sure that all of our needs were met. He really listened and was so reassuring every step of the way. Even though there were several changes in vocalists during this long engagement, his confidence in each new singer pervaded and sure enough, he was right! The 2 new leads were as good as ever! The band had so much energy, and had everyone dancing!

Spoken Four also allowed the groom's sister to sing the mother/son dance which was incredibly special . This was planned ahead of time, but along with this, there was a spontaneous song she sang after being asked by the band if she wanted to join in!

I would definitely recommend this band for your next wedding!

Robby and Final Say made our wedding an unbelievably special night! The two lead vocalists put on the best show we’ve ever seen at any wedding and beyond. This band is so much better than any DJ or even most concerts! Our guests never left the dance floor and kept complimenting the band all night. We are so happy we chose this band. Not only did they put on an outstanding show, their bandleader basically put together our entire timeline and helped us with the order of events and speeches. (He handled himself so confidently that the father of the Bride thought he was in charge of the venue.) Besides helping with our timeline their bandleader Robby handled all of our announcements as MC and then jumped on stage put on an exciting performance. Amazing voices. Amazing dance moves. Amazing show! If you want the perfect band for the perfect wedding experience there’s only one choice. Final Say all day, every day.

It’s no secret that planning a wedding can be stressful but honestly, everyone in the whole organization made it so much easier than expected. The leader of the band (Domingo) has been with Spoken Four since their very first gig and we found it comforting that he does this nearly every weekend. He has the perfect personality for his role as he’s very calm and easygoing and he did a great job with our announcements and MC duties. With a voice like his it’s understandable that he worked in broadcasting.

When the band hit the stage it was definitely time to party. One of the most impressive things about Spoken Four is their ability to read the crowd and quickly adjust. We circled specific songs on their list but ultimately gave them the creative freedom to keep our dance floor jumping, and they did just that. It's incredible when you consider that this is a band that performs at this level of excellence well over 125 times a year.

We had a few friends in attendance that night who will be getting married next year and I think we may have saved them the trouble of searching for the perfect band. I could keep going on about how great Spoken Four is but I think you get the picture. If you’re getting married then you need to hire them.

Spoken Four played my cousins wedding last Saturday and I am compelled to say that they are simply incredible! I don't know much about bands or music but I can tell you that I have never seen a group entertain a crowd like that at any wedding I have ever been to. I even took a picture of their logo so I would remember their name because after hearing them for one whole set I knew that I needed to say something positive about them. Spoken Four...awesome job!

I heard about FINAL SAY from a friend of mine who was raving about how great the band was at a recent wedding she had attended. Knowing that the bride was a musician herself, I knew I had to have them play at our wedding on 05/28/17. We never even saw them in person due to my husband’s busy schedule, but we had full confidence in them.
Sure enough, they did not disappoint. Their energy and stage presence had everyone on the dance floor the entire night (even the self-proclaimed, non-dancers). Their vocal ability was beyond compare - at times, I thought they must be taking their break because the song sounded so much like the actual artist, but they are THAT good.
Leading up to the big day could not have been easier. Robby was amazing at coordinating everything and made it an easy and stress-free process – with other vendors we found it frustrating when they expected us to know everything about planning a wedding – despite having never done it before! This was not the case with FINAL SAY. It’s not their first rodeo and Robby was extremely professional and helpful, talking us through everything, giving us helpful advice and even offering suggestions for song selections. Robby also emceed for the evening and was so AMAZING added his own hilarious and clever touches to make it a personal evening. He was super flexible adding last-minute song choices and everything ran smoothly and without a hitch.
After a year of planning, it feels so great to hear from everyone afterwards about how great a night it was and to hear endless amounts of compliments on how great the band was. A good band really makes a wedding and this was certainly the case with FINAL SAY – we’re so happy we went with them; they made our night so memorable and I would recommend them to anyone who is planning any event.

Final Say was amazing! Once we talked to Robby before booking we were sold. We could tell that they would get the party going and they did not disappoint. People were up on the dance floor from the moment they started until the moment they stopped. It was such an amazing show. Robby’s MC work was clever and hilarious. We had some funny moments during our speeches and his comments made them even funnier. When it came to the planning stages before the wedding they were there for us the whole time. They were very accommodating and easy to reach. Most importantly, the show was great! The singers were so much fun to watch and their voices were the talk of the night. Final Say is a great band to work with. As a planner it’s nice to work with professionals. The band was so exciting on stage and they really got the people going! Not only did they put on a fantastic show, they engaged the crowd the entire time. The guests stayed on the dance floor til the very end. Working with their band leader Robby was a pleasure. There were many last minute additions that came in days before (Not to mention the changes that happened minutes before the initial announcements!) and he worked with me to make sure our timelines were matching up. I’ve never seen a band member take so much time on the finer details of the evening. Not only did Robby take the last minute changes in stride, he actually came up with great ideas that ended up improving the flow of the evening. To top it off he’s the best MC I’ve ever seen.

If you’re looking for a band for your wedding look no further. Final Say is an amazing group that creates a high energy party for everyone in the room. Besides that, you’ll never find a more attentive group of professionals. They are the perfect fit for any event.

Holy cow! Final Say was unbelievable. Their energy was unreal. The whole crowd danced all night long. They helped make this the best night of my life. Working behind the scenes with Robby (band leader) was beyond my expectations. By the time our wedding rolled around he felt like a member of the family. You’re not going to see a better show anywhere. As soon as we saw them we knew they were the band for us.

Final Say had everybody up on the dance floor all night long. We saw their video and loved the energy of the group. We then took a trip out to a casino to see them live. The casino atmosphere was lackluster yet this band still put on the most amazing show. We immediately said to ourselves, “If they can put on an amazing show here they can be great anywhere.” We couldn't wait to get them at our reception! Their energy is unstoppable and working with them behind the scenes was so easy. They made us a happy bride and groom and we are very glad we chose them for our wedding. If you’re looking for a band, go with Final Say!

Final Say was amazing! What an awesome band. Our guests loved them so much. After the reception everybody was still talking about Final Say. We had a ton of out of town guests and everyone kept asking all night, “Where did you find this band?” They were the best wedding band we’ve ever seen and I’m so glad they performed on our special day. Behind the scenes they were very personable and so easy to work with. They made the whole process easy and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a band you can stop your search and hire Final Say right now. They truly are a great band. Very professional and exciting to watch.

Robby and the Final Say crew were nothing short of amazing. From the beginning to the end of our reception, the dance floor was packed until the very last song – even leaving everyone chanting “one more song!” It’s been a few weeks now from our reception, and our family and friends are still talking about Final Say and how fabulous of a performance they gave. We’re so happy we chose Final Say for our big day – they really were the “cake topper” to our already fabulous day!

Domingo and Spoken Four made it unbelievably awesome. You gotta hang with these guys! If you want a REAL PARTY be with Spoken Four. Incredible music…they keep the life goin’ constantly. If you want the life of your party, hang with them. It’s unbelievable! I mean, the love in the room was unbelievably great!

Spoken Four…AMAZING! What else can we say? We had the time of our lives. Everybody was raving about how wonderful you guys were. You completely killed it! The entire setlist was PERFECTION and it couldn’t have been more fun of a party! It was everything we’d hoped for and you kept the party going all night long. Thank you SO MUCH!

WOW! Spoken Four, you were amazing! We saw you at Growlers and Hollywood Casino and we knew you were the right band for us. We knew that adding the extra musicians and having a 12 piece band lineup would be even more exciting but OMG! You guys killed it! Thanks for learning our First Dance song, too! We had Spoken Four for our wedding last weekend and I can't say enough great things about them!!! The band had everyone on the dance floor and kept the energy going ALL NIGHT! Their voices were amazing and they even got out on the dance floor to interact and dance with the guests! The band was also very flexible in letting my father-in- law and brother join in with the band to play a couple songs, which was really special! We received SO MANY compliments from our guests and Spoken Four really made the night!

The process leading up to our wedding was seamless too. I worked with Domingo to plan out the details, songs, timing, etc. He was very proactive and thorough and was a huge help with planning out the entire night. He held multiple prep calls with me leading up to our wedding, and I could tell he really cared about making the night perfect for us.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Spoken Four for any wedding or event! They are great to work with, their voices are amazing, and they made our wedding!

'If you are looking for a talented, energetic band that keeps the dance floor packed at your wedding, Final Say is a great fit for you. Final Say worked closely with us to plan the music and create a schedule for our reception. They provided MC services during the dinner and had soft music playing throughout dinner before the dance even started. Final Say also accommodated our request to play our First Dance and Father Daughter Dance. They did a phenomenal job and made the experience that much more exciting for our guests.

When Final Say started their first song of the dance, our guests went wild. The dance floor was packed all night. Final Say truly made our reception one of a kind. Since the wedding, we have had numerous couples ask about Final Say for their weddings and recommend Final Say to other family and friends. While hiring Final Say is no doubt an investment, their performance and musical talent makes it worth every penny.'

I absolutely loved Final Say at my sisters wedding! I have never heard a live band basically cover a wide variety of wedding reception songs!! The transitions from song to song were beautiful. They also had amazing vocals/harmonies. I rarely stopped dancing all night!! Highly recommended!

Maggie Speaks performed at my wedding on 09/04/16 and they were AMAZING! The dance floor was packed the entire night, they played a variety of music to accommodate every guest, and people are still raving about them. They MADE our wedding.

Music is probably the most important part of a wedding. I knew from the beginning that this was an area, in which I was not going to try and cut costs. With that being said, Maggie Speaks might be more expensive than a DJ, but trust me – they are worth every penny! You cannot compare the energy and vibe experience between having a live band perform versus having a DJ. This experience really separated our wedding apart from others and was the element that made it unforgettable.

From the very beginning, they were the best vendor I worked for my wedding. Becky Phelps, Magnificent Event coordinator, provided me with tons of information and answered all my questions. She was a pleasure to talk to and would respond back to emails/calls right away. Closer to the wedding, I worked with band member, Shawn Sommer. Based on my selections of only songs I absolutely did and did not want to hear, the band compiled the whole track list and I did not have any pressure to plan anything. They are so experienced and know exactly when and what songs to play for a wedding.

Anyone that has seen Maggie Speaks perform knows that they are awesome and have become a legacy in the Chicagoland area. It is pretty obvious that this would lead to them providing an excellent performance at a wedding too. I’m sure most people reading this review have either seen or heard many great things about Maggie Speaks and are considering having them perform for their wedding. I encourage those people reading this review, to go ahead and book them already! If cost is an issue, cut back on other vendors/things no one remembers about weddings. I can personally testify that booking Maggie Speaks will be the best decision you could ever make for your wedding!

Spoken Four / Domingo, You guys did a fantastic job at our wedding. Everybody loved you! Thank you so much for learning our First Dance song and for playing all three of our Special Dances Live. We would 100% recommend Maggie Speaks to anyone looking for a band for their wedding. They put on an amazing show and kept the party going all night. From their song list to reading the crowd, they definitely made our reception an absolute blast. The team was a pleasure to work with and they made our big day unforgettable.
