Mae was incredibly easy to work with. We just wanted some simple centerpieces since we were only doing a reception in San Diego after our wedding in Italy. We sent her photos of the Italy flowers for inspiration and she totally re-did her order and the flowers were spectacular!

Mae did the most amazing job with my wedding flowers for my arch, aisle centerpieces and bouquet. I had sent her photos for inspiration and told her that I wanted a romantic, timeless, classic feel filled with creams, whites and light blush colors with lot of greenery. She was very easy to work with and took my feedback and back and forth comments over email to adjust her proposal. She worked within my budget and came up with solutions to keep the cost down but still giving me the look and feel that I wanted. The flowers far exceeded my expectations and it was everything I dreamed of and more! I loved them sooo much and they made the ceremony and all the photos perfect. She also helped us with figuring out what to do with the flowers after the ceremony. I highly highly recommend Mae!!!

Mae was absolutely wonderful to work with for my wedding. Her florals were so elegant and beautifully captured my vision for the ceremony and reception. Due to the timing of covid restrictions and reopening, our wedding planning was done completely over email, text, and vision pictures that I sent to her. She totally understood everything I was going for virtually which was impressive. Now that things are back to normal, it was so cool meeting her at my event and being able to thank her in person for making my day perfectly beautiful. She was sooo incredibly flexible and easy to work with. She's also just so sweet and friendly and you feel like your friend/Mom/sister is taking care of you. She's just very kind and professional and so so talented at florals. Her pricing is reasonable and the quality of florals she delivers is just stunning. Many of my wedding guests complimented the florals and specifically, someone who hosts many galas and events and is no stranger to hiring florists, came up to me and said the centerpieces Mae did were the absolute best he's seen in his entire life. If I could give Mae Chan 10 stars, I would! She is so sweet and courteous, helping to make your floral vision into a real life masterpiece. Her flowers are of the highest quality (mine lasted weeks after the wedding and I received so many compliments!) and she is willing to work around any budget restrictions to get you the exact look you want for your special day!

I selected Mae Chan as the florist for our February 23, 2013 outdoor wedding in Carlsbad after finding her on Yelp. I wasn't sure what to expect, but from our first meeting through to the final day, Mae communicated with me all along the way which helped put me at ease. She helped to suggest other options to cut down on costs, while not having to sacrifice my floral vision (e.g., she gave us the idea to use the bridesmaid bouquets for some table centerpieces during the reception! So smart!). After seeing a beautiful bamboo arbor on pinterest, Mae helped make that vision a reality by allowing us to borrow her homemade bamboo arbor, complete with taffeta and two breathtakingly beautiful bouquets. It was in every ceremony picture as the perfect frame to such a special moment.

I've just received my professional photos (some of which I will upload to Yelp, just so you all can see the beautiful floral art that Mae does) and it reassured me tenfold, that I picked the right florist, Mae Chan Floral Design, for my wedding.
