Lydia turned my wedding photographs from moments into magic!

Lydia has an extraordinary way of seeing the world. When we were hiring a photographer for our wedding, we saw a portfolio she had of safari and wildlife shoots . . . and we were completely mesmerized by the startling contexts and angles she created, as well as uncommon ways she played with light. We instantly knew we'd found our photographer.

Ours was an unusual wedding in a tropical backyard setting, with a very small group that included almost as many dogs as people. We were not interested in the conventional series of posed photos, and we needed someone who could very actively capture all the moments without being intrusive. Lydia excelled at this as well -- she is incredibly personable and laid-back, and, at the same time, highly professional.

She naturally carries a familiar, down-to-earth vibe with her, and put us instantly at ease -- she felt as much like one of the guests as a photographer. And she completely captured the atmosphere of the event with the same candid clarity we had seen in her other photos; her work surpassed our greatest expectations. She created some of the most eclectic wedding photos I have ever seen, along with some more traditional shots -- I simply cannot say enough about what a pleasure she was to work with.

We are so lucky to have found Lydia! After having a blast during our engagement shoot, we knew we really chose the right person to capture our wedding. She was on time, extremely flexible and creative, and worked so hard all day long to get just the right shots. She was all over the place, yet very stealthy at the same time. Every time I wished I could take a photo, I looked up and she was capturing the moment already. We hired a second photographer to shoot part of our day, but in hindsight, we didn't need one. Lydia was so detail oriented and efficient. We are so looking forward to going back down to Harwich and having a little viewing in her new studio.
