Amy was amazing to work with for my wedding day makeup needs. She is immensely talented and kind, and her warm personality is a delight to be in the presence of! Where do I even begin?? Cecilia and Amy did an absolutely amazing job on our makeup for my wedding last month!!! Having Amy do my make-up was one of the best things that could have happened to my wedding.

Amy and I met to do a trial run and I told her exactly what I wanted: glamorous, bold, dramatic, old-Hollywood, 1920s flapper-esque. She totally blew my vision out of the water. Better than I could have ever hoped!

I knew I wanted someone truly professional - someone who could contour, shade, blend, sculpt my face. In my search for the perfect make-up artist, I was left unimpressed and underwhelmed with some of the outdated techniques I was seeing amongst other artists in the Capital Region.

And then, I stumbled upon Amy. The highlighting and red carpet ready look Amy gave me was nothing short of miraculous. I must have had to repeat her info to a dozen or so girlfriends at my wedding. Everyone was so impressed, including, most importantly, me. (Not an easy feat - I am the pickiest/most annoying human on the planet)

Amy gave me the "WOW!" look I wanted, and then turned around and tastefully did my mom's make-up and accommodated my not-as-adventurous bridesmaids. She really can do exactly what you want. She was not afraid to express her opinions and how to achieve what I wanted without going totally overboard. I respected her professional advice and the results brought tears to my eyes.

To put a bow on it, she's also one of the nicest and friendliest people I have met.

Everyone has a cousin or an aunt who went to beauty school twenty years ago - seriously, don't try to cut corners on this part of your wedding. It's your FACE. It's going to be in EVERY PICTURE! You want it to be perfect - this is the woman who can make it happen.
