The team at Luong Lasting Makeup Artists was amazing! They arrived right on time at 4am and were total pros throughout the day. They did hair and makeup for me, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mom, and everyone felt so beautiful!

I had already met them at my engagement shoot trial, so I felt super comfortable—and the same artists did my wedding day glam. They came prepared with notes and nailed my vision perfectly. Couldn’t have asked for a better team. Highly recommend!

I could not be happier about my experience with Luong Lasting as my make up team for my wedding.

My wedding was in Mammoth Lakes, so I had to find a vendor willing to travel the ~5 hours from LA to get there. The travel fee is hefty (it is, across the board for any vendor), but it was so easy to work with Luong Lasting to make it happen.

It was a risk because I had to go with a vendor without doing a trial, but the risk paid off. This was the 5th time I've gotten my hair & make up professionally done (across different events or as a bridesmaid), and I can confidently say that Luong Lasting did the best job across all. And not just for me as the bride, also for my bridesmaids. My bridesmaids even said they liked their make up better than they did for their own wedding!

They were able to do anything across the spectrum, from natural to full on glam for both hair and make up - I saw it all across my friends. I love that they used airbrushing... the make up really did stay on ALL NIGHT! And I also loved that they really knew what they were doing across all ages (from my 7YO flower girl to my older parents). Everyone looked appropriate for their age and the team was able to adapt based on what each person needed.

I've followed Luong Lasting on instagram for the longest time; and when it was my time to get married, I knew I wanted to work with them. They were so easy to work with and the ladies who came early that morning to get us ready were so nice. Everyone looked so flawless. My hair and makeup held up really well. I didn't find myself needing to touch up at all. I felt so comfortable in my own skin and I knew I made the right decision working with Luong Lasting. Beyond awesome hair and makeup team for brides and their wedding party! First, I recommend doing a hair and makeup trial to see if you like it. I booked a hair & makeup trial to play with ideas of how I would like my look to be. The quality of the makeup is amazing and they use a silicone base spray on makeup that is waterproof/resistant in case you cry. Then, the makeup artist walked me through what she recommended for my eye color palette and lip color. I LOVED it! They walked me through everything and they were so involved.

I am so impressed by the emailing manager in terms of communication. This team is on top of it! I always get a quick response and communication is super important when it comes to wedding planning. High level of professionalism and always on time! This team will give 200% and be at your wedding site as early as they need to be. It is not an easy job because it is continuous hands on labor and they did amazing. (Because of that, I made sure not to forget to tip them generously). Overall, their prices are fair and affordable especially with their high quality makeup!

Another important point is EXPERIENCE! They know what they are doing and have done hundreds of weddings (if not more). It makes me feel confident that they will do a great job at my wedding and they did!

I wanted a special look with fresh flowers in my hair. My hair artist went above and beyond and communicated with me what would work best for incorporating floral designs and that allowed me to work together my florist in providing those flowers. I had the privilege to work with a talented artist who have done a broad spectrum of hair and makeup for editorial, wedding, runway and more. On that note, I would like to give special thanks to my bridal hair and makeup artist: Emmalee (shown in picture).

I also would like to give thanks to the hair and makeup team for my bridesmaids and 2 mothers. I trust the level of skill and talent these ladies had in glamming up my wedding party.

We hired Luong Lasting for my wedding back in May 2021. We originally had them booked for our April 2020 wedding but we had to postpone due to COVID. They were very understanding of the postponement and accommodated our date change quite easily.

I fell in love with their work browsing their Instagram account. I was further amazed during my bridal trial, which I scheduled on the day of my engagement shoot. I loved every look they put together. I was not intending to do an updo but it was done so beautifully that I ended up choosing the updo for my wedding day.

I personally want to thank the five girls who came on my wedding day and a special shout out to Kim & Ysabelle for working on my hair & make-up! All my girls & moms were very happy with how everything turned out and they lasted ALL DAY (and I was crying ALL DAY during my wedding haha).

When I browsed Luong Lasting's Instagram page, I fell in love at first sight. I loved the golden glow everyone had. Everyone's makeup looked flawless. The hairstyles were super cute. I wanted more glam than "natural."

From start to finish, they were so pleasant to work with. They were flexible when I had to postpone my wedding, and super organized. During my trial, the owner, Tina did my hair and makeup. She listened to everything I asked for and executed so well. She started off with lighter "natural" makeup... then gradually built up the drama based on what I wanted - darker eyes, thicker lashes - whatever the look you want, they can do it.

I liked that they use airbrush makeup and Tina matched my skin tone so perfectly. I felt so glam and my skin looked flawless.

On my wedding day, they sent a team of 3 to do hair and makeup for 8 people including myself. Tina worked on my hair and makeup solely, Sandra did makeup, and I unfortunately can't remember her name, but 3rd girl did hair. They were so timely and efficient, rotating everyone one after another -- we finished ahead of schedule. Really impressed by this operation.

Everyone loved their hair and makeup so much - Sandra nailed my mom and mother in law's looks. Prices are fair and you get a better deal with more people. Truly amazing, highly recommend them for your event!! My hair and makeup did not budge after 12+ hours!

I had a number of ladies that needed their hair and make up done - me (the bride), 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms and 3 sisters and 1 grandma. These ladies took care of each and every one of us! Tina took care of me and she was amazing. I had to do 2 trials because I ended up not liking what I thought I would during my first one and Tina was super chill throughout all of that. She also kept it real. I loved it! Also, her & her whole team totally added to the energy and vibe to the morning of the wedding. All of my girls loved them and loved their looks. They all looked flawless! After I got all my wedding photos back, I was even happier with the work Tina put in. I get insecure about how I look, but Tina made me feel beautiful and confident. All of my bridesmaids, moms and sister also looked absolutely gorgeous! They didn't short change anyone. I would recommend this team to everyone! When looking for a makeup team in Orange County, it was surprisingly very hard to find a team that was able to cover bride’s hair and makeup, as well as 6 other bridesmaids’ hair and makeup. But look no further! Tina and her team are experienced and on top of their game! Email correspondence were super easy. Quotes and payments were a breeze. And after the brides trial makeup, we knew we went with the right team! Long Lasting was on time morning of the wedding (3am). And we had Tina come back for Bride’s makeup and hair touchup, which would usually be unnecessary, but we got married on the hottest day in 2017!!! LOL. Thank you so much Tina. You are so much fun! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you and your business!!!!!!

Kim and her team are the absolute best! Her prices are competitive, they are flexible, extremely talented and so fun! I did my engagement shoot/trial with Uyen and Sandra and was looking for a specific 1940's look, which they were able to do amazingly. They were so fun to be around and were very open to the look I was going for. When I saw the end result, I cried because I loved it so much!

When it came to the day of the wedding, I used Kim because of the vintage waves that I requested and I was ecstatic with how I looked! I am so happy that I chose Kim because she was so easy to talk to and made me feel so at ease the day of the wedding. My hair and make up were exactly what I imagined it to be and lasted the entire wedding, which consisted of lots of happy crying and my make up did not budge at all! The Luong Lasting team were able to do hair and make up for my wedding party which consisted of 14 people and even finished earlier than expected! I have never received so many compliments about my hair and make up and all of my bridesmaids (who all have different make up and hair styles) loved each of their looks! Kim and her staff were so professional, open to making my dreams of a vintage wedding come true and not to mention so much fun to be with the morning of the wedding! I will definitely use Luong Lasting in the future for any of my hair or make up needs!
