Melissa and her team did hair and make up for my son and daughter in laws wedding last weekend on the beautiful Catalina Island, last weekend!

During our make up trial I told
Melissa I wanted a very natural look and she absolutely “got me”! Melissa is truly artistic and this shines through in her work!

I was so impressed by Melissa’s team ! They were so professional and accommodating!

I had the pleasure of meeting Melissa and got a trial hair do with her that came out amazing. I didn’t feel it was my style although I did choose it. 🤭 On my wedding day I requested a new look and she nailed that one to the dot. Highly recommend her hairdos are amazing and I got so many compliments. 💕

Melissa knew exactly how to take my random assortment of hair and make inspo pictures and translate it into a look that was tailored to me. She was extremely easy to work with - responsive, communicative, approachable, knowledgeable and so much more! I had 6 bridesmaids, my mom and my mother-in-law and nobody in that group wears makeup or does anything crazy to their hair, so naturally they were all a little nervous about getting their hair and make-up done. As soon as they started seeing Melissa and her team work, all of those nerves washed away. We all felt like the most beautiful versions of ourselves. Melissa and her team knew exactly how to enhance our natural beauty and somehow our hair and make-up lasted 14+ hours without it feeling like we were wearing pounds of make up! It was like magic. I also have to mention that Melissa and her team were a joy to work with! They all have a light, joyful and calming energy about them which is exactly what we needed. I've heard that the morning of your wedding sets the tone for the rest of the day and I have Melissa and her team to thank for setting the perfect tone! I highly recommend hiring Melissa for hair and make up!!

Melissa did an excellent job with my hair and makeup for the wedding and she was a pleasure to work with! I messaged a few vendors in my area asking for prices, and also noting my concerns about being able to get full, natural looking coverage when my skin is highly prone to breakouts, and also about my hair being thin and difficult to style (very difficult to hold a curl). She was one of the only vendors who addressed my concerns in her initial reply instead of sending a generic response asking to schedule a consultation, which made me feel much more reassured.

My mother-in-law and sister-in-law came with me to the makeup trial, and were so impressed with Melissa’s work that we had her do their makeup as well on the wedding day. I’m not accustomed to wearing makeup besides coverup and mascara, so it was also important to me that I look natural and not overly done up in my photos, and Melissa absolutely delivered. Her work enhanced my features, made my skin blemishes invisible, and looked very natural. She also did an amazing job with my hair, giving it volume without extensions that I didn’t think was possible! The curls and waves stayed in place with my hair all night and I couldn’t have been happier with how it looked.

Melissa was also a pleasure to chat with, very easy going, and professional. Given the quality of her work and compared to the prices of other makeup artists in Los Angeles, she could be charging much more than her current rates. I highly recommend Melissa for anybody who wants high quality hair and makeup with someone who cares deeply about making women feel beautiful on their wedding day.

Our wedding was in Catalina Island which requires travel in California to get to the ferry and then the actual ferry and THEN getting to the hotels.

Melissa helped ME get through the planning and transportation as I had never traveled there.

She assisted me totally out of her contract or services... it was such a huge relief!

Upon arriving her energy was magnificent and charming and kind and she makes you INSTANTLY feel like she is your closest friend and gives you confidence even BEFORE her glam makeover.

Her talent on her website honestly doesn't give her justice. It was a pure royalty feeling morning but everyone got to feel like they looked ans felt like themselves just with a fairy godmother with brushes.

I have never been made to feel so safe, truly cared for, listened to and beautiful as I did that day thanks to Melissa.

To have her with me that morning kept me calm, excited, confident and ready to marry the love of my life!!

Her communication prior to meeting was also above and beyond. She matched what I as the bride had envisioned EXACTLY and my mom and bridesmaids.

The only request I could ever have is to get to do that everyday.

She felt like a part of our family and her skills are absolutely unreal.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with Melissa. She did my hair for my wedding on August 2nd, and it was truly everything I dreamed of and more. She also handled the hair and makeup for several girls in my bridal party, plus my mom and my maid of honor — and every single look came out flawless. She somehow managed to make everyone feel beautiful, confident, and totally themselves.

From my very first trial to the morning of the wedding, Melissa was thoughtful, patient, and incredibly detail-oriented. I trusted her completely, and she proved over and over that I was in the best hands. She brought such a calming presence and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. She also brought two team members with her who were just as talented and kind — they fit right in and kept the whole morning running smoothly.

What’s even better is that my relationship with Melissa didn’t end on my wedding day. Since then, I’ve gone back to her for my regular haircuts and even a full color transformation, and she absolutely nailed it. She listens, she cares, and she truly has a gift.

Melissa and her team did the makeup for my now sister-in-law's wedding party. The team was professional and kind, and kept the vibe really positive and laidback. There were a lot of bridesmaids and family in the wedding party, and the team kept on schedule without any issues (at least none that I knew of!). My sister-in-law's hair and makeup turned out absolutely stunning, and everyone looked and felt great!
