We had a 160 person event and hired Luna and Charlie for the “month-of” wedding management package starting 8 weeks ahead of the event. Emily and her team made the entire planning process so much easier through their event-planning expertise, creativity, quick responsiveness, and attention to detail. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Emily took a tremendous amount of stress off of us by providing constant communication and support. I personally am an extremely organized and detail-oriented perfectionist, and Emily was not only incredibly patient with all of my emails and what-ifs and micro-decisions, but she blew me away with her top-notch organizational skills. It really allowed me to relax knowing I was in good hands. On the wedding day itself, Emily and her team were amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful in ensuring the day went smoothly, even with bad weather requiring us to pivot some of our plans. Emily’s help allowed us to be guests at our own party and truly enjoy - she went above and beyond. Every single aspect of wedding planning was less stressful thanks to Emily, and I genuinely credit Emily for single-handedly preserving my mental health. When we started the process of organizing a wedding at our home, there were questions about whether a planner was needed. Luna & Charlie events was fantastic! We had a pretty unique wedding where we got married twice over two days and had an every growing guest list that was around 400 people when all was said and done. Emily managed everything flawlessly from budget management, mood boards, vendor and venue sourcing to just keeping our families in line and on track! A number of my engaged friends remarked upon how discrete and organized she was during night-of facilitation as well. It could not have gone more smoothly! Thank you again!!

My daughters dream wedding was rudely interrupted by a pandemic (along with many other brides)! Her wedding was cancelled, then rescheduled and then reimagined. My daughter insisted on a home wedding (I was not in favor as I wanted to enjoy the day), so in came Emily! She truly made my daughters wedding a day to remember, for the bride and groom and for my husband and I. We felt taken care of and were truly able to enjoy the day because Emily took care of EVERYTHING! She had wonderful ideas, was incredible easy to work with and was a complete PRO!! This was by far the best investment from my wedding. Emily is phenomenal!!! She is incredibly organized, flexible, creative, and quite possibly the sweetest person I have ever met. She carries herself so professionally and truly hears you. Not to mention, she has the patience of a saint. She navigated scheduling, rescheduling, communicating with new venues and vendors, organized visits, attended every vendor meeting, and above all ran everything perfectly the day of.

As a 2020 bride, like so many others, all of our plans were flipped upside down. My photographer recommended I reach out to Emily, I am so happy that I did. Emily was able to make me feel excited again about my wedding after our first phone consultation. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for Emily, she so much more than a planner.....(at times my very own therapist ha!) I would recommend her and trust her with anything. Our family members were so blown away by all that she did we cannot wait to work with her again for our large event this upcoming fall!

If it wasn’t for Emily and her team at Luna and Charlie Events I’m not even sure our 2020 wedding would have been possible. Emily didn’t just plan our original wedding which was created pre covid but she also planned an almost completely different wedding after pandemic restrictions greatly altered our original plans. She organized, contacted, and planned everything that we couldn't - and thought of things we hadn't even considered or remembered to plan for. Emily was incredible from start to finish! From our first meeting, Emily really took the time to get to know my husband and I, our personalities, our style and vision for our wedding. She took our vision and made it even better than I could have imagined. She knew exactly the style I was going for, which made me feel like I was in the good hands of somebody who just got who I was and what I wanted. I am pretty indecisive, to say the least, and was constantly going back and forth between things I wanted and didn't, but she hung in there and made adjustments with no complaints. She was always available to talk in person, by phone, email, or text and always made me feel like a priority.

Our venue had newly opened, had no built in vendors and had a complicated lay out, as our entire wedding was in 3 different locations. I was so overwhelmed by the thought of organizing the event, but Emily helped me keep a level head and made each task manageable. Even though she just started her own business recently, she has had years of experience in the event planning business, which really showed by her extensive connections with various vendors. She was able to give us a wide variety of vendors to choose from and always kept our budget in mind. She handled all of our difficult vendors with finesse and made sure we got everything we wanted.

On the day of, I was completely at ease because I knew she had everything under control. I don't think there was a single issue that came up, and if there was, I was not made aware. She was so calm and collected the whole night, but don't let her sweet personality fool you, because that girl gets things done! I kept telling my husband that if I didn't marry him, I was going to marry Emily because she truly is an incredible person and wedding planner. She truly made our wedding day the best day ever.
