Queenie and James were both such delights to work with for our wedding. Queenie effectively encapsulated the vision for what I wanted in my dress. She was so easy to work with and scheduling appointments was efficient and comfortable. She ended up choosing a specific lace for my dress which I totally loved. We also overlaid the dress with a tulle to create a full wedding gown effect. Thank you for all your support and all that you did to make my wedding such a success! People couldn't stop raving about your dress!

Queenie is a very sweet lady. She’s very professional and talented when it comes to her work. She helped me decide what would look best for my bridesmaids. She also designed my “bolero” (an add on off the shoulder sleeve) which was very important for me to have on my wedding day to partner up with my wedding dress. Even though I didn’t get my wedding dress from her (got it before I met her), she still helped me come up with a design through her drawing that would look best with my dress. And sure enough, on my wedding day, I felt very comfortable and beautiful with my bolero on that made me danced the night away. It even looked like I was wearing a different dress. I was so happy with the results I would definitely recommend her to my friends. Thank you again, Queenie. You are indeed a blessing.

For starters, Queenie is an absolute angel!
Just a month ago, I was a bridesmaid, and my dear friend (the bride) chose a beautiful Lumière Couture dress for each of us. We were able to manipulate the customizable dresses to best suit our taste. They were beautiful and so, so comfortable; I could live in it!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Lumiere! Queenie and her team are great at what they do. They were able to customize a beautiful, modern dress for me to wear to the tea ceremony at my wedding this past July. Queenie was very nice and was able to work with my budget to create a beautiful dress for me. I received so many compliments and can't wait to send more brides to her so that they can have a similar experience. Love their modern Qipaos! I had two made and I’m super happy with both!

I was looking for a chinese dress to wear for my chinese american wedding and picked Lumiere because I like the modern qipao style. Queenie was extremely patient during the whole process in dress selection, fitting, and styling. Queenie has an eye for style because not only did I get my Chinese qipao dress there, she also helped me get a overlay skirt of my wedding dress. After showing her pictures of my white wedding dress, she helped me add a skirt that allowed me to do a quick style change on my wedding day.

There were a variety of asian inspired dresses at the studio. All the styles were more modernized and you can customized the color, lace, lining, etc. I chose a lace red/gold qipao with a small train.

Queenie was super patient about tailoring and fitting. She made sure that it would be comfortable and everything was perfect when I got my dress. Since I lived in San Francisco, she even did one of my fittings in SF when she was in town.

Everything turned out perfectly and everyone thought the dress was beautiful. It was so light and easy to move in, that I ended up making it my party dress and danced all night in it at my wedding.

My sister picked her reception gown and bridesmaids dress from Lumière. I absolutely loved our bridesmaids dress because the material is super comfortable and is extremely flexible with styles. All three bridesmaids were had the same dress but dressed in different style. Queenie was also super helpful from dress fitting to actual wedding day. She paid attention to the details and helped us styled our dress.

Lumiere Couture has the prettiest collection of bridal dresses. I am in love with many of their dresses the moment I tried them on. I always wanted a dress that I could wear even after the wedding day and their convertible dress made my dream come true! The 3-in-1 dress could be worn in cocktail, mermaid and A-line style. I couldn't express how gorgeous and elegant it looks. I especially love how the dress was designed with a perfect blend of eastern and western cultures. I also love the pearl buttons line at the back of the dress which makes it looks even more classic.

Queenie is very professional, dependable and friendly. She made sure the dress would fit perfectly on you. Some of the dress details can also be custom made. I would highly recommend Lumiere Couture to anyone who is looking for gorgeous dresses and excellent customer service!

I found out about Lumiere through Instagram and had to see and try on the dresses in person! I am so happy to find out that Lumiere is close to my hometown and where the wedding will be held.

I met Queenie via email correspondence in scheduling an appointment. The whole process of booking an appointment was a breeze, and she was super prompt via email and even was able to see us a little bit earlier. I enjoyed the entire process with Queenie, even though I was starving from not having eaten. She was very attentive, kind, and personable throughout the entire process of trying on dresses and really tried to work with some special considerations that had to be made for my wedding.

I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a reception dress or any special occasion dress to Lumiere. These dresses are definitely one of a kind and very special. Some styles even let you have 3 different looks in one dress!

Ultimately what I really liked was the fact that the dresses still have a western style to them so that they look appropriate versus costume-y. If you are curious at all, take a look for yourself! You will not be disappointed.

The final dress design included the dress elements that I liked the best, and since my main wedding color was purple, I chose a white lace halter gown with a dark purple liner. I received so many compliments from my family and friends, and my dress was so comfortable and easy to move around in.
