Bottom line up front: Lumen Entertainment and Bryan in particular are stellar, utmost professionals, and choosing them was the best investment into the night of our wedding that we could have asked for.

In 2022 we had an amazing experience with Bryan (MC) and Xavier (DJ) for our wedding event in Boerne. We have a few stories.. First, we had planned to speak with several DJ/production companies during the planning phase and our wedding planner suggested Lumen because she had just recently worked with them and it was a great experience. After the first meeting with them we were convinced by Bryan that it would be a good fit and decided to go with them right away. Fast-forward to wedding day and we were so glad we did. Not only can Bryan and company talk the talk during the consultation period, but they deliver on everything they promised, and all the way through they maintained responsiveness and professionalism. So many people mentioned that it was the best-run wedding dance party they had been to and we were even blown away by how much energy Bryan and Xavier brought to the event, and how much energy they drew out of our guests.

We had a few "special requests" of Bryan during our event. We had a live musician playing our lead-up to the ceremony and I also planned a serenade during the reception. Bryan answered all of our A/V questions and saw to it that they were met. We also had some cultural dances that not every MC would know how to manage, and Bryan ran it perfectly and asked all the right questions about how to do it. Everything went off without a hitch and there was never any question that A/V wouldn't be covered.

Last story which speaks volumes about who Lumen Events is as a company and who Bryan is as a person -- our wedding arch broke due to wind shortly before our event and Bryan was nearby setting up A/V along with some of our friends helping out. Without hesitation Bryan saw the crisis and stepped in --> apparently he doesn't travel anywhere without his tools and he repaired the arch with the help of our friends finding some wood to replace the broken pieces. We were none the wiser until our friends told us post-ceremony -- this speaks volumes of Bryan's humble character and the ownership he takes over events he is a part of. He truly went above and beyond, and the fact that he did not make a big deal of his deed also shows that while his charisma can truly command a crowd, he doesn't center the spotlight on himself. He gives everything he can to the event and uses his talent to raise others up and I think that's am amazing quality to have as an MC.

For practical matters -- the song request system is simple enough to use and while it doesn't catalog every song it was easy to request songs not included in the database. The songs we/the guests wanted to hear were all played and Xavier did a great job of including other songs that fit our tastes and made the genres flow into each other very well through the night.

We couldn't be more grateful to Bryan and his team, and we are still reeling from how awesome he helped make our wedding day.

We met Derek at the open house at our venue in January 2022. We loved his energy and the vibe he was giving off. He and my husband also got along and joked around like they were old friends. We didn't book them right away because they were a bit more than we intended to pay but were also in the very early stages of planning and booking vendors. We kept researching DJs over the course of our planning process and ended up meeting with them and one other company. We liked the other company as well but for only a few hundred more we could book Lumen Events and get both DJ and MC vs one person who had to double as both DJ and MC. But better yet, they gave a pay in full discount which made it almost the same price. I am so happy we had Derek and Xavier at our wedding. They were nothing but wonderful. Derek knew how to work the crowd and keep the party going. Xavier's ability to keep the music flowing seamlessly was perfect. They were worth every penny.

Lumen events was amazing on my wedding! Brian the MC and the DJ did a great job and all my guests commented on the fun night they created! They got everyone dancing and played all the songs that were important to my husband and I. We were a Covid couple and moved our date and Lumen was so accommodating and understanding. One of the most memorable moments of the night was after the last song and Brian the MC had all our friends and family make a circle around us wished us the best and had everyone say we " love you!". That moment meant so much to us because it was a long journey to our wedding! We will always be grateful!

Brian and his team know how to get a party started! Any big event we have, we call Lumen! He’s been doing our quinces and family events for years, and we were so excited to have him dj our wedding. He knows how to keep the crowed engaged and on the dance floor all night! The whole team is super professional and on top of their game to make sure that the event is perfect!

Lumen had an incredible set-up and they were so good about keeping the party going! The MC was hilarious and everybody loved the song options and transitions. The photobooth was amazing and people loved it! The backdrop and lighting looked so nice and we loved seeing the fun pictures people took. Hiring Lumen Events was one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding. Bryan were so easy to work with and I could tell he really valued making my wedding all that I wanted it to be. Lumen Events threw the best dance and I couldn't have asked for more!!

My wife and I recently got married in San Antonio on April 18th. Our wedding was pushed back a year due to the pandemic, however Lumen Events was one of the first to reach out, and assist with rescheduling. All of our guests who attended said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended. The DJ & MC did a great job playing to the audience to get people on the dance floor.
