Having Lawrence and Pam Luk take care of our photography was definitely one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. There were just awesome in every aspect, starting from being extremely patient and flexible in putting together the perfect wedding package, through answering (promptly) the many questions we had and handling the business side impeccably, to the wedding day itself. On the day of the wedding it was very nice to have both of them taking photos, especially during preparation when one photographer couldn't have been with both me and my husband at the same time. They were unobtrusive while taking the candid shots, and efficient and well-organized with posed group shots. They also had tons of great general advice that was very useful to us as we didn't have a day of co-ordinator.

When we got the photos we were just amazed -- they really captured the day beautifully and still take us back to our big day in an instant whenever we look at them. The Luks also put together a wonderful slideshow that was a great recap of the day and available on their website to share with our friends. We later chose our favorites for the album, which they designed taking into account our input and preferences. The finished product looks just great and is now one of our most treasured possesions. I should emphasize that they have a nice selection of albums
in all price ranges and styles, so we were able to choose exactly what we wanted
and could afford.

So I wholeheartedly recommend Luk Photography Studio to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer in the DC area. They were extremely professional, delivered
great photos, and, perhaps most importantly, were wonderful to be around on our
wedding day.

Lawrence and Pam are wonderful! They were our wedding photographers. My husband and I are both architects, so we're pretty picky!

Lawrence is soft spoken but extremly talented. As a designer, one of the most important things about design is the editing process. Luk Photography understands this innately and this is what sets them apart. We interviewed other photographers and they would show us shots that were "so-so" or just plain bad just to have that photograph checked off the list. Some were just plain cheesy. Luk Photography are different in that way in that they would show us photographs that met their already high standards. They have a descriminating eye for composition, mood and subject and make sure to capture the spirit of whatever the event they are working towards.

I'm probably making them sound very stiff and regimented, but they are not. Very professional and friendly, down to earth and fun. They are the people you would WANT to have dinner with. I highly recomment using them for weddings, first borns, what ever!

We met with them once and after the first meeting, we knew! We booked them that evening and we so happy that they were available!
